Elevator out of service. Told to use south stairs but sign on door said not to?? Pillows too big and old smoke smell, shower was poor, no facial tissue, door jam damage. Hard boiled eggs ok for breakfast. Sketchy person circled my truck.

The parking lot was right up-front and felt safe. The social area was noy real exciting but served its purpose well.

Per staff, Wi-Fi had been out for "a while" so had the elevator. You could log into the lobby wifi but the signal was iffy back at the rooms. We used this place last year with a lot better experience. Won't use them again though.

Elevator didn’t work. I reserved room weeks in advance and being 100% Dissabled Veteran needed 1st floor but placed on 2nd floor. No pool. Tv had be fixed soon as I got in room. Breakfast wasn’t very great. Water stood in tub while taking shower. Toilets were kid sized. Etc….

The elevator was not working for the three nights I stayed here. The first floor fire exit in the fire escape stairwell would not secure. My room was clean, The interior lobby and areas I frequented were clean. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast consisted of coffee, bagel, toast, waffle, cereal, and miniature muffins.

Enjoyed the cleanness and a very nice room. The continental breakfast is simple and self serve, very happy to have 24 hours coffee and juice. The only disappointment is no internet in our room, room #207. No matter what we said. The answers was - we will take care, yes, but it was fine everywhere else, it worked in the building. oh, sorry, the guy was here, he is gone for today........No matter what and how we mentioned - it was our room has no internet. So, it was a nice place as long as no internet is needed. Please ignore the rating, because I found out the rating won't stay with the clicking result, these rating would change when I scroll up to make sure. these results won't stay.

The staff was excellent, and very accommodating, even though the elevator was closed.

No issues with the parking. AC worked fine.

We've stayed here before and may have to again due to the limited locations in town. This stay we had no Wifi; they said they had a new router that wasn't strong enough to reach the rooms at the end of the hall. They did give us a $20/night discount for the Wifi issue. Also very poor water pressure in the shower. There are waterfalls in the area that would have been easier to bathe in.

Room was not what we expected, no microwave or fridge in room, main ice machine was not working had to go to top floor for ice.

I had three rooms, none of them were acceptable! First one the commode would not flush, second one lights didn’t work and the last one tub was dirty. I told the guy when leaving and didn’t act too concerned. I am sure he didn’t report it so I am. I have left feed back no response yet. I paid 87 dollars for the worst stay ever ! I never complain but this was not acceptable at all!

Rooms were very clean.

It was close to our destination. Carpet, bathroom floor, couch, ottoman, sink, and tub were dirty. Wall at entryway had something smeared on the wall. Toilet seat was extremely loose. Cigarette burn mark on the bathroom counter in a nonsmoking room. Window shelf cushion covering was shredded. Breakfast selection for very sparse.

PARKING WAS SAFE. CLEAN ROOM AND HOTEL. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

Loved everything about this location! Staff was very friendly, room was clean and updated, hotel was very quiet, plenty of parking. Very enjoyable!

We loved our stay at the Microtel in Bryson City. The front desk employee was very friendly, and our room was quaint, remodeled, and clean. We will definitely book this property again and highly recommend this location to others.

Our room was a bit dirty, there was mold in the toilet and hair on the floor, stains on the bedding, a scum ring around the tub. I was disappointed to say the least.

Let me start off by saying. The area, the location of the hotel is nice. Parking lot, that's very convenient. The attendant at the lobby was very nice as well. I will say walking into the room is smaller than most rooms. They don't provide microwaves or refrigerators, so keep that in mind. Overall bed is firm, bathroom isn't cleand very well. Dirty toilet and mirror, leaky tub and a light out over our bed. Has a odd smell in to but not overwelming. For us this was a one night stay. They do i have a continental breakfast. I wont be back at this one again.

Bathroom needed a much more thorough cleaning. There were dirt and hair on the floors and it just felt grimy. Staff was friendly.

This hotel is perfect for a visit to the Bryson City town and Great Smoky Mountains Railway. Staff is friendly and hotel clean and maintained. The room is a bit small, but perfect for those looking for a place to sleep, shower and get ready for your days adventures.

The view was terrific. The toilet seat was very low, which made it difficult to use.

Low water pressure, no refrigerator, extremely hard pillows.

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is in a great location. The big happy point for me was the room they sold me as wheelchair accessible actually is wheelchair accessible, it was great to have a room where I can be comfortable and safe to use.

This was fine for what we needed it to be, a place to sleep for a night. The side of the building that faces the parking lot has no identification of it being the hotel. The room was hot and muggy at first as the air unit had been turned off. Bathroom mirror was broken. Broke my toe in the middle of the night due to the fridge/microwave cabinet being awkwardly placed.

The two main issues were that 1) our room was quite noisy, we could hear people in adjoining rooms and hallway late into the night, and, 2) the bed was unusually hard and uncomfortable, which I realize is a personal preference, but still it made for a terrible night’s sleep. We will search for other lodging options Next time we’re in Bryson City.

Pics on Expedia were not accurate for my room. Checked in to find no fridge even though it was shown in pics so be careful when booking. Manager apologized and switched me to an “upgraded” room with one. Initially she said it would be an up charge, but she decided to do it for free. Room was clean and quiet so no problems there. TVs did not have streaming options and was just regular DirecTV satellite service. The shower was not in great shape and the tub did not drain well leaving you in several inches of water by the end (assuming this was specifically our room). It took a long time after finishing before it drained. The AC also made a very loud obnoxious noise ever so often. It would last for about a minute and then get quiet again. The problem is this drastic change in noise was enough to wake me up several times during the night. The internet was alright although it did go out for a while. Manager said this was fairly common during rains. The elevators also got knocked out from a really bad lightning storm on day 2. My key card also stopped working and had to be reprogrammed. The staff was always nice and my room issues weren’t reported to them so I don’t know if they would have been addressed or not. I was only there 2 nights so I figured it wasn’t worth complaining over since I had already been moved once from my original room. I had stayed here several years before with no problems which is why I stayed again. I probably would still stay here again.

Friendly staff. Didn’t find it a good value based on the size of the room and lack of a fridge and microwave. Also not a fan of water softener water. But it was clean and a quiet location away from major road traffic.

There is absolutely nothing around this hotel. It sits off the interstate by itself surrounded by trees. It’s about a mile to the town of Bryson city. There is no restaurant at the hotel. If you’re looking for somewhere just to sleep it’s quiet. this is a place for you, the rooms are clean. They are however very small. I was traveling by myself in a one Double bed room and I felt claustrophobic. This is definitely asleep for the night and move on.

Parking very easy. The air conditioning did not work great. Evening staff member unfriendly and lazy, otherwise staff was good Room was clean, small and minimal amenities.

Joan, evening/night manager, was very helpful when our TV didn't work right. She came up and tried to re boot the service. When that didn't work she gave us another room. She was always pleasant and friendly.

Staff was very professional and helpful.

Beds were comfortable- staff was excellent

The employees were awesome—helped to make sure we were comfortable by moving us to another room when the air conditioning malfunctioned. The young man (6/1-2/24) provided excellent customer service! We enjoyed our stay.

Staff stood right outside entrance door smoking. cover on lights over bed hanging by 1 screw. garbage left in trash can in room from previous occupant. Waited 20 minutes when we arrived for any staff to show up a front desk.

On hill above hwy 74, Good view and convenient to Bryson City.

The property was very convenient to our reason for visiting the area, plus the staff was very friendly and accommodating to all. The breakfast was a little short of food options but not a killer reason not to use this facility again.

Room was excellent. Very clean. But there was a problem with the elevator and the stairwell. Which was concerning as a safety hazard. The continental breakfast was a joke. I only observed 4 people eating any of the food. The coffee was good

Overall to survive one night is exceptional. Breakfast (if you can call it a Breakfast) was horrible. All you get is a coffee, year old bagel, cold boiled egg, Granola bar and yogurt. Dont expect hot breakfast . No juice either.

We stayed here for one night to go on the Polar express train ride. This property was very conveniently located. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was nice with coffee waffles. And cereal. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The check in staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay with a combination of cold and hot items. The housekeeping personnel did an excellent job in maintaining our room.

We have stayed here before. We were just sight seeing for a few days. My only complaint would be that the breakfast was really lacking.

The breakfast was disappointing. We stayed there a year ago and it was good. So we expected the same this time. The tub drain had to be snaked we were there. The sink drain took a while to drain. You would think if they were cleaning the bathroom as it should be done, they would notice the drains not working properly

The breakfast and shower weren't great but for the price and location-it is clean and safe and conveniently located. Great area to visit! The staff are nice. The shower just doesn't have very hot water and there is almost no water pressure. The breakfast was blah-but honestly, for this price-no problem-just run to a local place and get good food.

It was good place to stay, but was told there was a hot breakfast....only waffles and cereal 😞
