A good hotel that just lacks attention to detail. Too few car parking spaces sees guests just abandoning vehicles in the area every night. The bar menu was barely available - no soup, no chicken, no burgers (no point). Staff try but aren't given the tools they need to work with.

This site was just greenspace on the edge of an industrial estate when I grew up here and it seemed a little weird pulling into an area where I had my first driving lessons on a Saturday morning as it was all but deserted over the weekend. Not now, there's a busy looking pub literally staggering distance away, the ubiquitous Greggs, few other structures the purpose of which didn't register. Very quiet, all I can hear is doves cooing. Staff friendly, nice to even have staff, last place I stayed was largely automated so only other humans were fellow guests. Complimentary breakfast, none of this £15pppn extra nonsense and much better than any £15 rip off offerings. Lots of guys in work gear and German accents so probably popular with service/installation engineers working at operations on the industrial side. One minor issue is the size of the car park. It didn't look to have much space when I checked in around 4pm, and was lucky to get the last one when I returned around 9pm after dining out. Does puzzle me as to why - in a era of expanding waistlines and growing obesity - are parking slots getting narrower? I'm not exactly Captain Lardy but even with sensibly/centrally parked cars, one needs to be like Stretch Armstrong or a contortionist to get in or out of the car without injury to self of damage to vehicle!

Clean tidy hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking not a problem as you can park anywhere on the retail site if the hotel car park is full. Just remember to register your vehicle at reception which they remind you of anyway.

Busy place, i had to take the disabled room, loads of space though, room was great, tea coffe a bit stingy though. Complimentary breakfast. Helpful staff. Unable to order food at bar due to being busy, could have downloaded the app, but plenty of dining options close by. Check out is 12pm gave time to catch up with admin before my customer visit. Slept well

Staff and Hotel were lovely. Booked afternoon on date of stay however none of the staff where on duty was able to pullout the sofabed for a 3 person room and the inside sheet was visibily dirty as had to self sort out. Reception staff was lovely and the rest of the hotel and stay was very clean. Plates where not being replenished enough on this instance but varieties and stock was good

Breakfast staff were very helpful, polite and couldn't do enough for you especially Sandra who made our stay that more enjoyable. We stayed for two nights and our room was cleaned on both days ,fresh towels tea and coffee.Parking was no problem.

For staff I would have choose worst , however dinner lady was very kind and polite. From the moment I enter hotel reception had attitude issues, did not wanted to provide my email, why you don’t question customer, that’s none of your concern. We are in 2023 what’s with the we need your email attitude. To preauthorise my card you only need my card and that’s it, don’t need to ask me why I don’t trust you or whatever. Just move on. In the room right side bedside full of dust so had to clean it ourselves. Overall whole experience ruined by receptionist from the moment of entry.

Hotel is in a busy location but is very quiet, staff were excellent and hotel was very clean. Room was a very good standard and had everything I needed. Breakfast was also good, so no complaints. Will stay here again for sure.

Planned a stay so that I’d have somewhere to work while on a business trip (planned to work in my hotel room) but the WiFi just wasn’t working. Had to leave and go to a nearby Starbucks. Location isn’t great. Only a Wetherspoons and a Hungry Horse pub nearby for food. Nothing else in walking distance apart from fast food places.

Staff were lovely Room was spotless Hotel clean and pleasant But I paid to have a good night sleep and the bed was awful. It creaked like n every movement. The mattress was dreadful. For that reason I won’t be staying there again. Obviously the management hasn’t caught on unlike the premier inn management that when working away. The night sleep is so important. Go and check the mattresses and replace them.

Hotel was nice, only spoke to one lady and she was kind of helpful, we struggled with the WiFi in the room, the tv remote didn’t work so we couldn’t use the tv properly, two kids wanted to use iPads but WiFi kept dropping of so ended up connecting to my phone which used a lot of my data

All ok except the bed is exceptionally uncomfortable with creaking springs, and the truck stop behind the room smashing and banging all night fixing trucks and repairing tyres. Won't stay again as had this issue before

It was good to have proper air-conditioning on a hot night. The reception staff were friendly and efficient and the room was clean, with a comfortable bed and plentiful towels etc. The only slight niggle was that the occupant of the neighbouring room clearly had 'bathroom issues' and was flushing the loo virtually every hour throughout the night, with the plumbing being a bit noisy in my room.

We felt our stay was excellent, from Natasha checking us in and all the help she gave us during our stay (every hotel should have a Natasha) plus every other staff member during our stay, cannot praise this hotel enough , best hotel we have used in a long time, keep the good work up

Check in was fantastic, efficient foreign last very welcoming. The rooms are standard, shower had not proper switch all a bit shabby. However we had a fire alarm at around 815pm this is where it went wrong. There was no staff on the hotel guiding people out!!!! There were three young ladies outside trying to get people into a meeting point!!! The most concerning comment from one if them was "if people are in there room then that's there problem!". There was not one member of staff on any floors supporting, there was no one in the exits helping anyone. If there were disabled or hard of hearing people it was tough no one to help!!! As a fire warden, you never put your self at risk, however you do ensure that your guests are supported and ensure that everyone that can , can get out.

Comfortable clean rooms Friendly staff Breakfast good No fridge Location convenient for business traveler but maybe not all. Wetherspoons next door, Domino’s, subway and shell garage 2 mins walk. Did not use bar or have evening meal. Car park small but additional parking in retail park which hotel is part of. I would recommend this hotel

We only stayed for a couple of nights, but we found the bed was clean and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It’s much more than a continental breakfast, and has enormous variety of foods to choose from.

The hotel was ok but we were told when we checked in that breakfast was until 10. When we were leaving on Monday the breakfast was all cleared away just after 9 am. This was a bit disappointing as we had a long journey ahead of us.
