This hotel is only a resort in may- September otherwise a lot of the hotel facilities are not open, like the pool bar and beach services. The hotel itself is really nice and the shuttle service makes it a great jump off point to see the Amalfi coast, Naples and pompeii.

Idyllic hotel, perfect for visiting attractions in the area. Hotel Olimpico is a charmingly beautiful place. From the grand entrance area, with the fountains and tastefully lit trees, we knew it was going to be a lovely stay. When we reached our room, we knew it would be phenomenal. The rooms were immaculately presented, spacious and with a lovely balcony with a great view, cleaned perfectly every day with everything you could need and more. Breakfast was a great selection of Italian and continental delights, all of a high quality and included a great selection of fresh fruit, juices and a pancake station. We ate in the restaurant one night where food was delightfully served in beautiful surroundings and of a great standard. There’s a lovely, clean pool, lots of children’s play activities to the rear of the hotel (so not in the way if you don’t have children), which were well received by our boys. The best feature of the hotel, however, was the staff, who were so helpful and friendly before and throughout our stay, particularly the wonderful Chiara who gave us so much important information before we arrived. Would definitely return to this hotel and would absolutely recommend to others.

A nice, clean property, with a pool, tennis court and restaurant facilities. Helpful, friendly staff. A nice hotel beach area across the street. A bit remote, but a free shuttle to/from the train terminal, tourist area and ferry/boat service runs several times a day and takes about 25 minutes. Access to easy groceries, from the hotel, is time consuming. Other hotels and restaurants in the near vicinity were just beginning to prepare for their opening during the summer months.

Lovely stay, worth asking for a room not on the minus floor. Also, room doesn't have a kettle (a minor thing for us Brits!) Half board means you can choose two dishes per person - they are huge so we split a starter and a pudding. Pool and beach both great, walk down the beach and there are lots of cafes etc. Pool bar expensive (to be expected). The shuttle is great, straight to Salerno and free. Do the boat trip to Amalfi, stunning coast and Amalfi is glorious. Breakfast is nice, the chocolate tart was the winner! There is a crepe/pancake/waffles stand, fresh fruit, meats and cheese, pizza, hot food, someone making you any coffee you want (or tea) and juices. Hotel communicated quickly via WhatsApp which made it easy.

Nicely designed hotel with clean atmosphere. Nice size rooms, and the pool looks great for in summer! The bed was a bit uncomfortable and big pillows only and a small older bathroom. Also there was a party in the pool house with very loud music till midnight. This can be ok, though not on a Wednesday.

Hotel is nice, it's clean and the staff is amazing. The pictures on here are highly eddited, quite a few of the pictures aren't event the property, specially the "views". Hotel is about 15km away from town. Shuttle was convenient in order to get to the fairy for Amalfi coast. Food is good, prices are reasonable. Wifi was absolutely horrible in out room, cell reception was the same. So really hard to respond to an email, or do any type of work from your room. For the price there are better hotels, closer to town. We drove here, and there really isn't anything around. This with the fake pictures of the views were very disappointing.

The front desk staff was wonderful! Very helpful, informative, and personable. The cleaning staff was also very pleasant and kept everything clean and fresh. The complimentary breakfast was the best that we experienced of all the places that we stayed during our two weeks discovering Italy. Unfortunately, our evening dining experience was the worst we experienced in all of the places that we stayed in Italy. We were offered a 9:20 reservation, which worked perfectly since we arrived in the evening and wanted time to freshen up for our special night. This was intended to be a very special and romantic dinner. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and our request for a table with some privacy was accommodated with grace. However, our wonderful dinner experience ended there. The maître de approached out table, just after we placed our dinner order, to inform us that the kitchen would be closing at 10:00 PM. The service from the staff felt rushed. Our food arrived cold. The maître de sent his staff home, turned off the lights and left us there. No inquiry as to whether we needed anything, would we like coffee or dessert. Previous experiences at other restaurants throughout Italy were quite the opposite. We enjoyed the relaxed social culture surrounding meals prior to this very disappointing experience. My rating of the staff as "average" was chosen because the other hotel staff were "excellent" , the dining staff "terrible".

Staff friendly and helpful, hotel lovely but inconvenient and locality surroundings dirty. Management worthless and difficult to deal with even for the staff. Accidently extended a stay of one day, less than 1 hour later, discovered error and tried to cancel and despite staff trying deal with the manager explain for refund, manager refused. We are seniors and this was a very upsetting situation.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff are amazing - especially Sergio and Michelle who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and go the extra mile in every regard. The pool and beach are lovely, and although it’s a little far out of town it is totally manageable (given the shuttle bus). We also had a car. The restaurant food is great so it’s very viable to eat there every evening. Thanks so much for a great stay.

The hotel reception staff were brilliant, before we arrived they were really helpful with advice on how to get to the hotel via whatsapp, giving information on trains and taxis to the hotel. This was super helpful as our flight was delayed 4 hours so we had to change our plans for arriving. It was great having the free shuttle service to Salerno train station and port

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and really helpful especially the reception team. The pool is lovely and the food in the restaurant (and snack bar) is amazing. The shuttle bus to Salerno town (to get the ferry to Amalfi, Positano etc) was such a good service to have too.

First of all the best thing about this hotel was the amazing staff. They were so friendly and incredibly helpful. First when we arrived and the airline had lost one of our suitcases, they helped us call to find out when it might arrive. A couple of days later we had a flat tire, that i couldn't change because the wrench was very worn and the lug nuts were super tight. They got us a tow truck driver that was covered under our CAA plan. And the breakfast and dinner staff were superb.

Shuttle guys did not give us correct information on one of our days when we wanted to take a boat to Capri. He dropped us off an an area that did not offer the service we wanted which was recommended by him. We ended up having to walk to the ferry destination which made us loose 1 hr of our planned day. He also Was on his phone every time he would drive and he would drive a crazy. There were parties everyday in the evening during our stay at the hotel which made it awkward to hang out in the outside area because we would get weird looks from guests/ family from the party group

Hotellet er dejligt, morgenmaden virkelig god, personalet- ikke mindst tjenerne -venlige og hjælpsomme. Det ligger MEGET afsides. Det tager en halv time at køre til centrum af Salerno med shuttlebussen, og området omkring er simpelthen grimt og flyder med affald. Det er ikke et sted, man har lyst til at gå en tur og der er ingen hyggelige restauranter eller andet i gåafstand.

Overall, very good experience. Property is neat, lovely and well looked after. Our room was great. Service by the staff was excellent. Unfortunately, the location affected the overall experience as it’s pretty far from everything. The surrounding area is not ideal, pretty depressing and poor - we crossed a few sex workers on the main road taking us to the hotel after 9pm. Shuttle service is nice but very limited time schedule - it costs us 50€ to get back to the hotel with a taxi. Restaurant food was really great although quite expensive (51€ for pasta and a beer). We would personally suggest not to have BBC info at the restaurant on the big screen as TV news can be quiet bleak and we were looking for a nice time away from it during diner. Despite those little details, we really had a nice time here.

The hotel, the staff and service were all lovely, no complaints. Only slight issue was the location. A shuttle to and from Salerno is provided free each day, however there are no shops nearby that are easy to get to. Would recommend stocking up on anything you need before you arrive so you don’t have to travel into Salerno for any basics.

Excellent staff, very good breakfast with lots of choice. Room was clean and had a good shower. We only had pizza in the evenings which were very nice and great value. Tiramisu a bit disappointing. The hotel itself is very nice and well kept, with pleasant and helpful staff. One of the few things missing in the rooms is a kettle or hot drink making facility. Unfortunately the dining, cover charge and drinks are a bit expensive at the hotel, and, the week we stayed there was only one other restaurant within walking distance that was open (1st week of June). The hotel runs a shuttle service to Salerno, but with limited drop off and pick up times, making dining out in the evening not very practical. The property is approximately 7 miles from the centre of Salerno, with limited and unreliable bus services, we were informed that a taxi ride would be around 50 euro from town to the hotel, so anyone who stays here without a car could be very limited to the shuttle times. Overall we enjoyed the stay, but, if we came again we would definitely hire a car..

La propreté est quasiment bonne, les cadre de porte sont noirs et gonflés de l'humidité de la salle de bain. On peut prendre le petit déjeuner de 7.00 à 10.00 mais à 8.30 les plateaux sont déjà vides et les deux personnes chargées de la salle sont plus préoccupés par débarrasser les tables que de regarder s'il faut remplir quelque chose sur le présentoir. Heureusement un client leur a signifié le souci et 3-4 tranches de jambon ont été déposés... Idem le lendemain...

The service from the staff felt rushed. Our food arrived cold. The maître de sent his staff home, turned off the lights and left us there. No inquiry as to whether we needed anything, would we like coffee or dessert. Previous experiences at other restaurants throughout Italy were quite the opposite. We enjoyed the relaxed social culture surrounding meals prior to this very disappointing experience. My rating of the staff as "average" was chosen because the other hotel staff were "excellent" , the dining staff "terrible".

Very clean rooms. Free parking. Very kind and helpful staff, free shuttle to the city center, too bad there is no more schedule to choose from. Excellent breakfast and staff who are always taking care to fill in the gaps. Excellent coffee. Hotel restaurant with reasonable prices and delicious food and good service. Definitely recommend not to miss

Très bel hotel à proximité (navette) de l'aeroport de Salerno Cote Almafitaine. Belles prestations hotelières mais restaurant moyen. Petit déjeuner correct. Personnel très sympathique
