This room wasn't bad at all. Check in took about 4.2 years for some reason. Also, if you're on the 2nd floor, be ready to lug all of your stuff up steps because there's not an elevator. If you're on the first floor though, you can basically back your car up to a sliding door and load in that way. That would have been AWESOME.

Cheap and cheerful hotel with friendly service and a nice breakfast. Ground floor pet-friendly rooms are so convenient as they have a sliding door to outside. A little bit dated, but the room and bedding was clean and overall worth the price.

We stayed here, as we were leaving on a bus trip the next morning very early. The bus left from a church one street over, so it was convenient. The beds were very comfortable, and the staff were great. We left before breakfast, but it looked great. It is on a very busy road and is close to a one way street at the side. I went over and back around to that street to get into the parking. It is hard to turn left into the hotel at rush hour especially. Otherwise. it is a nice hotel.

The room was spotless and modern, comfortable bed, good TV. Free hot breakfast. It was great having a door directly outside for the 2 am emergency dog walk! There were other dogs there but no disturbances at all. Hotel exterior being freshly painted. Lots of fast food/grocery walkable and restos nearby. Very quick access to QEW.

My stay had some areas for improvement. The breakfast was the same for all four days — scrambled eggs with sausage — so a little more variety would have been appreciated. Only bad thing was that the refrigerator had pizza and breadsticks in it from previous person in room so I know it was not cleaned. Makes me wonder what else was missed in the cleaning process.

Rooms were clean and updated, we really liked the ability to go out the patio door and unload and load our vehicle. Has breakfast in the morning, it was delicious. You can tell that the people working there care about how the facility is presented.

Room was very clean except the old, dingy, stained carpet and cushions on the pull out sofa bed. For almost $200/night with at least 50 rooms, I expected a bit more. Not sure what the yellow stains all over the carpet was, but not sure I want to know. Windows were also dirty with ripped screens.

The front desk attendant wasnt very friendly. Barely spoke to me. I stood there awkwardly while he checked me in. The hallways were full of dirt and mud from ppl tracking it in on their boots. The shower and tub had public hair in it.

Room doors could use soft close hardward; we were woken by doors shutting noise numerous times in the night that was way too loud, not by other guest's fault but simply that the doors close too quickly and echo in the hall. That paired with train noise didn't make for a restful night. Bed and pillows were comfy, room was lovely. Shower head was nice and soft.

The room was very spacious. The bed was good. Had a microwave and fridge in room. Breakfast was good, loved the waffles. Area was busy but lots of Restaurants near by. The wallways were noisy at night, people wandering the halls talking loud at 4am. But Hotel was convenient for us.

Make sure you have a "real" credit card, not a Visa debit card. Expedia took my $233 for a non refundable room, but when i got to the hotel i was not able to register, even though i have money available on my card and i also had cash. Funny that my card was good enough to book the room, but not good enough for a $100 security deposit.

As soon as we walked in the hotel, this staff said that we reserved a room upstairs, that is so pathetic, how would we know that we reserve the room upstairs or downstairs before we get to the hotel, they were insisting that they would charge us more money if they give us a room downstairs and they still wouldn’t do it so we ended up being stuck upstairs going up and down the stairs without an elevator, very inconveniencing, as well as the staff attitude, was horrible, especially the Management

When I arrived at the hotel yesterday, the woman at the desk was very rude. She refused to take my health card (from Quebec) as ID, which I’ve used several times to check into hotels in Toronto with no problem. I didn’t have any other ID on me. She didn’t suggest any other solution and was very rude about it, talking to me as if I was an idiot and as if I was just causing a problem. My confirmation email said nothing about bringing ID, never mind a particular ID. Fortunately my mom was there and checked in for me, but it was pure luck that I wasn’t alone. Had I been there alone I would’ve been out of luck and probably would’ve overpaid for a hotel the same day and missed my friend’s wedding ceremony. When I told her the next day that my confirmation email said nothing about ID, she took no accountability, and continued to talk to me like I was an idiot. Just really terrible, unprofessional service.

We arrived at around 8pm but there was nobody at the desk and we waited for around 30 minutes before he arrived..The desk staff upon our check in was not welcoming and was rude. He was not smiling and seemed irritated. Then He was accusing us of deliberately adding work for him when we wanted some more bottled water and extra blanket. He told us to go back to our country, which was sort of being racist. There was a commotion actually. There was no elevator which we overlooked since it was only 2 floors.. But then there was no assistance for us to look for other room in the first floor when in fact we had a 98years old mother in the wheelchair. And that staff at the desk mentioned that there was in fact 1 available room in the first floor but he said that he could not change our reservation since it was done thru a 3rd party. We still stayed since there was no more vacancies in other hotels. So we carried our mother up and down the stairs and the wheelchair. We paid around $2000 for 2 rooms for 4 nights. The hotel is Comfort Inn but it could have lived up to its name.

Good price for a hotel in Hamilton. Not in the nicest part of town but well positioned for driving in and out, and Hamilton has much worse areas. There are no safety concerns, it's just not the most aesthetically pleasing area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was a perfectly good hotel experience.

All plastic knifes and forks was disappointing. Real dishes would be so much better for the clients as well as for the environnment. As for the breakfast, prewrapped muffins were not the best either.

Staff on check in very polite. Breakfast was exceptional each day. Dining area was spotless as the female employee that looked after breakfast room and food, worked very hard and took the time to ask you if you needed anything. We stayed 5 nights and would recommend this Hotel. Only small issue was on last night when very young children belonging to a hockey team thought it would be okay to run back and forth in the hallway creating loud noise. One call to the front desk and problem solved.
