Elita Hotel

The property was conveniently located, closest proximity to the beach without being one of the big hotels. It was clean and simple. Unfortunately, the only amenities are the swimming pool. There is no hotel bar, no gym on the promises and was disappointed that there was no housekeeping unless you request it 24 hours ahead. So if you don’t need much, this hotel is clean and nice and great proximity to the beach.

Wonderful building on a quiet street only a block from the beach. The room was spotless and nicely equipped, very clean and modern. Pool area was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. Awesome place.

We had a nice stay at Elita Hotel . . . We would stay there again. Like others say, you can hear others in the adjoining room. The snoring person next to us was rough . . . And we did ask the cleaners for shampoo, but it is more important for them to go into a meeting than get us what we asked for and then we never got it. HOWEVER, the hotel is in a nice location within walking distance to the beach. There is a bike sharing station across the street that made it so we didn't have to drive anywhere and the hotel itself is in good condition with a nice little pool and sunning area. Even with the minor inconveniences of hearing our neighbors and such, we give it a full 5 stars. Thank you Elita for a nice stay.

Nice little hotel, very clean. Pool wasn’t cold so that was super great so an afternoon swim. The parking could be better because it’s mostly double parking so you don’t have the freedom of coming in and out as much. But over all very nice place good location we walked to have food and drinks

This is an upscale motel with walk out exterior rooms. The property is very small. Upper floors are a walk up. Rooms were very clean, bathrooms remodeled, however our bathtub had a 2 foot base so extremely difficult to get into. My other family did have a walk in shower. Lady at desk for check in very sweet. Expensive area within walking distance to beach.

Parking was not free as advertised

Our plane we delayed and we arrived after 11:00 PM. It took about 20 minutes for someone to arrive so we could check in. We stayed overnight before our cruise departed the next day. We had a lot of luggage to haul up the stairs, there's no elevator. The room was nice enough, but very small, and I had to direct both the cab driver and Uber to drop us off and pick us up. Pretty good location but no one seems to know where this place is.

Spacious, clean room. Great location with a short walk to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. Nice pool and deck area. They could use some new lounge chairs by the pool, and some additional furniture on the roof top deck.

Room was very clean. Staff we're all very friendly and helpful. Property is beautiful, close to the beach but relatively quiet. COVID restrictions were a little inconvenient but welcome. We wish the bar by the pool could be open.

There was a charge for parking that we did not anticipate. We were told it was based on ability. The offering of beach chairs and towels was nice but we could not find any chairs that were not quite well-used or broken.

Overall, a great location. The beach is across the street. The floors weren't mopped/cleaned properly and our kids feet were quite gross from them walking barefoot in our room. We stayed in one of the penthouses and the balcony rails need to be welded back on, as they are broken. A child could easily fall through.

We were in a room with two double beds; one bed was okay; the other mattress sunk down in the middle. Time for a replacement mattress! There was no full length mirror in the room and in fact the ONLY mirror was in the bathroom. That makes showering and getting ready very difficult for two individuals which is why we rented a room with 2 beds to begin with. A couple may not mind but they wouldn't need a 2 bed room. Overall the hotel is a cute boutique-type hotel but the cleanliness was not the best and there were tiny ants on the kitchenette counter.

Clean, spacious room. Quiet and great location. A lot of available parking.

Room had a moldy smell. It is not close to the beach as advertised. We spend a couple hours trying to find another hotel. Expedia was on the phone with front desk for a long time trying to get our money back so we could go somewhere else. We checked out after Expedia found us another place. There are still trying to charge us for the room even though we we only in it for 10 minutes.

The property does not look like how the pictures are taken the property is very little and needs more cleaning

This is a beautiful and very clean boutique hotel. Such a great find on Expedia. Looking forward to more opportunities to stay here, walk to the beach and eat at amazing restaurants, all in a few minutes walking distance!

It was terrible the room smells of mold and was not cleaned properly also the door to my room never closed on its own had to manually close it each time and check. This can be very dangerous especially in Florida to be real i booked last minute and the options were thin if it wasnt for that probably would have left right away. Definitely not worth the money. Sheets were not clean found hair on pillow and other items. The lip where the sink and countertop meet was loaded with mold the shower was moldy also.

Very affordable! Literally a one minute walk to the beautiful Ft. Lauderdale Beach! Room was small but very nice and appears to have been recently remodeled. It looked clean but my wife (who is a clean freak) used a wet towel on the bathroom floor and it came up dirty. Our room had a connecting door to the room next to us which had 4 young guys talking and laughing half the night. It sounded like the door was open - you could everything they said! To be fair we didn't call the front desk until the next morning and they took immediate action and told our neighbor they will be asked to leave if it happens again. The pool and grounds are beautiful and they even have a little outside kitchen/bar, however it was terribly dirty. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff at the property are definitely pros! The front desk and housekeeping (the ones that we where in contact with) definitely have the hospitality knowledge to make your stay a memorable one. The facilities are well taken care of and the room design for a short stay is perfect. I would only exchange the doors to connecting rooms to sound proof ones. Other than that highly recommended.

Grounds were well Kept, but walls are Paper Thin in room.

The Elita is located less than a block from the beach, and just a few blocks from the spots that made Fort Lauderdale a place to go for fun (ie, Elbo Room). For us, it was right around the corner from our convention hotel. In other words, the location is great. Staff was friendly, even after we had trouble finding a person with whom we could check in. Doing that required a phone call, even though we arrived at the exact (pretty much) time we said we would. When doing so, the check in clerk explained everything quite well. When we had a clogged toilet, it took about 30 minutes to get a plunger, but the staff was helpful in getting it to us. Our room had AC, ceiling fan, shower, fridge, iron & board, in-room safe, and coffee maker. There was a pool and living room onsite. Parking was an extra, but not unreasonable, cost. The digital TV was problematic because (1) there were only 13 channels available, (2) the on-screen channel identities were simply wrong, meaning we had no real idea what we were watching or even what channel we had changed to, and (3) the quality of the signal would sometimes make viewing the show impossible.

Overall the property is great. I would consider staying here again. The only issue I had is that my room had walls that were paper thin. I could hear everything my neighbors next door were saying (word for word) and doing. They could hear us as well. Other than that, great place.

My wife and I stayed for the weekend at this Hotel and overall we had a good experience. We love the garden area with all the palm trees and how the clean this place is. The standard room we originally booked was really small so we upgraded to the Deluxe room which we loved. Its super spacious with a small kitchen area with a dinning table and a small couch area also. The bathroom was really spacious. The bed was comfortable and we really like the room overall. There's a couple of things that needs some attention though. The shower head needs to be fixed or replaced. The water pressure is not strong enough. It was really annoying trying to shower with almost no water coming out. It was a little difficult figuring out how to turn on the hot water also but somehow we made it work. We also thought there should be another mirror in the room maybe a mirror on one of the walls or something since there's only one mirror and its in the bathroom. I also wished they would grant late check out. We requested a late check out and was denied but yet the cleaning people were cleaning other rooms when we left our room and we thought we could've used the extra time while they cleaned the other rooms. Not a big deal but something to consider when someones asks for a late checkout specially when we only needed an extra 30 mins. Overall we love this place and we will definitely come back when we visit this area again. Hopefully they address the little things mentioned above. Great place overall!

Overall, we were happy with the hotel. The pool area/courtyard is nice. Many restaurants and the beach within walking distance. Our complaint is the size of the king rooms. Room was very small - fit the king bed and two bed side stands. There was no chair or table. When staying multiple days, it would have been nice to have a chair to sit in and relax but there literally is no room to put a chair in the king rooms, there is only a small bench. The queen rooms had a table and two chairs and some even had countertops. There was a closet that basically wasn't functional. It had a safe on the floor and a refrigerator mounted on top of it. You could only hang a few items to the side of the refrigerator. The refrigerator was a wind refrigerator. It did not get cold enough to store food in it. It kept drinks cool but not cold.

Compared to their sister property just down the street, this property looked like a level up and was quieter because it was not on a main road. Due to a late flight, I was able to get a slightly later check out and they stored my luggage for the afternoon. I was also able to access the pool area and towels until I was ready to leave. The staff was helpful and I look forward to returning to this property again.

We had a great time while at Elita hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. We loved the kitchenette and the shower. The addition of an armchair will complement the room as we had to always lay on the bed to watch TV. Of course, it goes without saying that the location was perfect, a short walk to the beach.

The property was very close to the beach, within walking distance of dining, stores etc., the area was safe and quiet. The walls were thin and you could hear the people in the next room.

Honestly terrible. The staff is not very bright. All of us in our party of 8 had to do multiple payments because the lady at the front desk kept charging us wrong. The housekeepers are absent. Your room will not be clean. The pool is a joke and the hotel is extremely loud. You will most likely be awaken by your next door neighbor playing loud music at 6am.

Never got into our room as there was no one available to check us in at 4pm. Left plenty of messages and sent emails. They left us stranded and we were forced to seek alternative accommodations. Will never book with them again!

The property was as pictured and a walkable distance to the beach and vast array of dining options. The rooms were great. The only difficulty we had was trying to find our room the first night because the staff only works normal business hours and our flight got in late. Our room was on the third floor (1302) but the third floor did not have a door that said 1302 it said penthouse 2 so be advised if you’re staying on the third floor. Also the front desk staff was not on the property at all times. Everything was pretty much stocked so you didn’t have to call them from anything and if you called him they would come quickly. Not really a con but something you should know before booking. Overall I would book again.

The staff was so accommodating for holding our luggage as we arrived early. It is definitely a boutique hotel that is a block from the beach and located near the strip of restaurants/stores/coffee/etc. It was a nice, quiet area! Although there is no daily housekeeping, the staff made sure we were provided fresh towels. Would definitely stay again

The place is good and well location, confortable bed, clean and good bathroom. They offer chairs and beach towers. Unfortunately this place DOESN’T offer daily housekeeping which is a big drawback, although they offer housekeeping every 3 days I think this is not good enough for a 3.5/4 starts hotel. In all accommodations stayed in Florida recently I honest consider this as a joke, a smart way to reduce staff cost for cleaning. I did requested daily housekeeping which wasn’t acknowledged via message (over Expedia) then acknowledged after 2nd day and still failed to do the housekeeping during my 3 nights. What a bummer ;( On the positive note the manager recognised the mistake and not only apologies but waived car parking fees as a compensation. I think is is outstanding customer service and appreciated the outcome. Still give the 5 start rating because mistakes and screw can happen but they apologied, owned and compensated.

Elita hotel had great location, clean rooms, all the amenities you needed for pool/beach the staff were the best part. They even accommodated us on checkout allowing us to stow away luggage while we explored a few more hours. One of the best holidays I’ve ever had. Cavelle was one of the most gracious staff we dealt with while there and made the trip even better. We will be back soon!

.The Elita is a small, contemporary hotel that is one block from the beach. We stayed 4 days and while the service is low maintenance (they clean every 3 days) it worked well for us. They provided fresh towels and emptied the trash when requested. Pros: * The hotel is in close proximity/walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, bars, etc. * The entrance to the courtyard leading to the rooms is secured with card access for guest. * Beautiful courtyard and pool with manicured areas and lighting. * Rooms have contemporary furnishings and lighting. We had a deluxe room with a kitchenette and eating area. * Easy, free parking Cons: *the layout of the rooms is “motel style”. We had an ocean view but to enjoy it meant that the people walking by to their room could look right in to our room. * This hotel is not handicap accessible. There are stairs that lead to the rooms and the enclosed tub/shower unit is too high for someone with mobility issues to get into. I would stay here again.

Elita is few feet from the beach. Starbucks around the corner. Free beach chairs and towels from the front desk. CVS one block away and first class dining options abound.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was nice and quiet, which I love. 2 minute walk from the beach and restaurant of your choice. Easy walk to any store as well. Only thing that could improve are the chairs they lend out free of charge. They look like they’ve seen better days. But free is free so they did just fine. Would definitely come back for my futures trips to Fort Lauderdale!

We enjoyed our stay at Elita! We spent three nights and had a great time—close to the beach and restaurants within walking distance. Easy parking right outside the hotel door. The staff was awesome and very polite. A hidden gem that I will visit again.

Super cute boutique hotel. Beach right across the street and easy walk to restaurants, marina for boat tour, Hugh Taylor Birch state park etc.
