Great location right on the harbor and loads of restaurants. Easy walking everywhere. Elevator only started on 2nd floor but staff were very helpful about carrying my heavy bag up and down to it. Comfy room. Slept really well. Didn’t do hotel breakfast as there are plenty of other cheaper options just steps away.

Il s'agit de notre 3ème séjour dans cet Hôtel. Points positifs : l'emplacement, le service et l'accueil chaleureux, les équipements de la chambre. Ainsi que la présence d'un gardien de nuit. Points négatifs : les nuisances sonores venant de la rue à cause de la mauvaise isolation phonique, notamment au niveau des fenêtres. Les finitions de la chambre laissent à désirer : marques, courps et grincements sur les murs et portes.

La chambre standard et sa salle de bains sont minuscules. Chouette hôtel ! Personnel vraiment sympa et dispo, avec un accueil 24/24. L’hôtel est bien placé avec vue sur le port, dans l’ensemble plutôt calme. Les chambres sont petites mais bien agencée ! Mini bar sans alcool « inclus ». Le petit plus, un concert des punk à chien en bas de l’hôtel.

After 9 hours of driving and arriving in the dark in the rain we were not greeted in a very friendly manner. The staff made me feel like I was crazy. I was just simply exhausted and they made me feel like I had asked too much of them by asking where to park and if it was safe to store our suitcases after checkout. We have been traveling in France a long time and were unfortunately robbed of all our belongings before we arrived. This hotel was the least comforting and least friendly and I would not return, although the view of the harbor was beautiful and rooms very clean. As a hotel employee I would assume that every guest needs to be treated as if they have had a very long day of travel and are not crazy. I was on the verge of tears and just needed some extra care. It would be helpful if instructions for parking were on the website as it is extremely complicated to park and drop off luggage.

Leuk hotel met Vieux Port uitzicht vanuit het raam, jammer genoeg zonder balkon. Gratis twee waterflesjes en twee ice tea blikjes in het koelkastje. Nespresso koffieapparaat in de kamer - heel handig. Ruime kamer en badkamer maar hele kleine wasbak. En er is een plankje dat laag boven die wasbak hangt wat goed is alleen voor het handen wassen maar als je jouw gezicht wilt wassen dan botst je met je hoofd tegen die plank en water stroomt uit van je gezicht langs de wasbak naar buiten. Ik vind dit hotel een beetje overpriced.

Nous avions une chambre (numéro 16) qui donnait sur le port et avons passé 2 nuits sans dormir. La Rochelle est une ville très animée le soir et la nuit, particulièrement la zone du port et étant donné que les fenêtres datent de Mathusalem, sans aucune isolation, c'est comme si nous avions dormi dehors. La direction de l'hôtel dépose des bouchon d'oreilles dans la salle de bain, c'est dire que le problème est bien connu... Nous avons apprécié de se voir offrir 2 PdJ en compensation mais cela ne compensera jamais le désagrément rencontré.

We opted to rent a room with a balcony view over the Old Harbor. Well worth it! Spent hours just hypnotized by all the comings and goings on scooters, bikes, buses, boats, and on foot. What a wonderful location! Inside was very quiet. Staff was excellent.

Great location right by the harbour front. The staff were all very friendly and the room was newly renovated, very clean and nice decor. Only slight challenge for us was the rooms are very compact, so not easy to open a big case

We opted to rent a room with a balcony view over the Old Harbor. Well worth it! Spent hours just hypnotized by all the comings and goings on scooters, bikes, buses, boats, and on foot. What a wonderful location! Inside was very quiet. Staff was excellent.

Lovely hotel in central location. Large light-flooded room in nice design with a beautiful view of the harbour comfortable beds Friendly staff - incredibly loud. There were street dancers and singers right in front playing loud music on speakers from midday to midnight. It felt like spending 12 hours in a nightclub. We stayed for 3 nights and it was like this every day.

Tout est bien, personnel aimable et avenant, petit dej complet et bon, bonne literie. Le seul hic, c’est vraiment la taille de la chambre et de la sdb. On se cogne partout tellement c’est exigu. Emplacement top.

Great view of harbour...room had small balcony. Room however very small. Unable to hang dresses, rail but shelving too close. Breakfast adequate but plenty of options close by that are cheaper. Incredible location and beautiful view. Worth upgrading to the port view rooms. Lovely comfy bed and good space given where it is. Quiet too despite a bustling city and bars below. Great friendly staff. Couldn’t comment on breakfast as we just went to a local bakery. No parking there - recommend “Maubec” or “encan” as short walk away.
