We have stayed at Ritz properties many times. It was a little disappointing during this stay for a few reasons. First, when we filled the bath with water we found that it was a brownish-yellow. We were informed this was normal for the area, but it seems that when staying at a luxury property one would receive this information prior to their stay to avoid surprises. The service was a little less each day, and towards the end of our visit they didn’t even replenish wash cloths. Most often when we have stayed with Ritz, the service is outstanding. Unfortunately this time was a little less than ideal. And be sure to read the fine print- not that it was a huge issue, but a resort fee and parking fee totaling more than 100.00 per day is a bit disingenuous when not included in the pricing upfront.

Absolutely wonderful experience!!! Very clean room and this place has friendly, courteous staff from the housekeepers, the valet staff and the wonderful lady at the front desk who set the tone for the whole experience. The photos of the pool do not do it justice either. It’s larger than it seems. The only downside would be that the walkway from the pool area wasn’t working and the elevator from the pool to the street was hit and miss but this did not detract from all the plus points we encountered. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I stayed at this Ritz-Carlton for our first trip to Florida. To say it was outstanding is an understatement. The hotel, staff, room, service, and included/surrounding amenities are excellent. The ONLY small thing we wish would be changed for future guests and stayers would be to extend the outdoor pool hours a little longer (but they are open very early which was a bonus).

I’ve stayed at the Ritz in Key Biscayne through Airbnb and the experience was much better. No resort fees and expensive valet parking and the food there was much better. It’s a nice place but way overpriced.

We spent our entire vacation at the hotel. Didn’t even walk across the street to the beach, even though that would’ve been easy. The ocean view cabanas are not cheap but they’re also a great deal because the relaxation factor is off the charts. Plus the staff that works that part of the resort are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The staff overall is amazing.

Overall I am extremely disappointed. I booked the Ritz because I have heard amazing things about the properties. This was my first ever time staying in a Ritz and maybe it’s my bad for having such high expectations. The building is dated, my room wasn’t clean (found multiple hairs and the snacks and drinks were so dusty, the cups were all dusty). The patio furniture looked like it was bought as Walmart. There were big and visible weeds on the pool deck. I had to pay $250 for my dog, the most by far I have ever spent by far for my dog. I pay way less at other hotels and they give me a dog bed or a cute little dog goodie bag. The only highlight was the restaurant, Burlock coast. The staff all knew my name and called me by my name, they brought my dog a water bowl without me having to ask. I know I’m it a high priority client and in the grand scheme of ritz Carlton didn’t spend a lot but for me it was a lot of money. I didn’t even end up staying long the day I checked out, I left earlier than I had planned. I was so excited to treat myself with this staycation - I had won an award at work and this was my own little reward. It’s drinks that it was so underwhelming and wished I had booked somewhere else.

I recently stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale. The staff were courteous and professional. Everyone I encountered was genuinely friendly. That said, the experience overall felt a bit underwhelming compared to other Ritz-Carlton properties I’ve stayed at. The building itself feels somewhat dated, and while it’s been kept up nicely, it didn’t offer the elevated or memorable experience I was expecting from Ritz brand. The room was clean and comfortable, but fairly basic. The bed was soft and tidy, but nothing particular. The TV did not function properly during my stay, which was disappointing. On a brighter note, the bathroom was quite spacious with a nice bathtub and amenities from Philosykos. The pool was clean but very standard — functional, but not particularly distinctive. There are only two dining venues on-site, including Burlock Coast, where I had breakfast outside with a beach view. While the setting was lovely, unfortunately I found a strand of hair in my food, which understandably detracted from the overall meal experience. Overall, while the service and cleanliness were solid, the experience lacked the factors I associate with the Ritz-Carlton name. It was a pleasant stay, but not especially memorable.

The front desk woman didn’t know how to even be hospitible. I attempted to order food the minute I got into my room, but the phone was broken, so even though I was extremely tired, I had to go downstairs to request it be fixed & find a place to order food. My Caesar salad came with shrimp that was so salty, I had to rinse the dressing they put on it off to eat it. Room service forgot to bring salt & pepper. They said they would be right back, I waited since I love pepper on my salad but they didn’t return until I finally ate my entire meal. They claimed there was an issue with the elevators. Then I wanted to take a nap & the maintenance person came & let themselves in to fix the phone! I was startled & jumped up. I asked them to come back later. They said they would come @ 4pm. Instead they came @ 6pm while we were getting ready for dinner. I went to my pedicure app.@ 4 pm. I noticed it was empty but they told me earlier that it was booked up so I could not get a mani/pedi & I needed to pick one or the other. I asked the woman @ the desk if she could get me in for a mani as well, since it was so quiet in there. She said no because they close at 5! So in I went for the pedicure & I was rushed out at exactly 5 with wet toenails & then charged over $100! The manager said she would comp. my lunch for all the issues the hotel was having, but when I check out, the salad was not comped! Also the hotel is old & there is a lot of damage to the walls, frames and cheaply decorated.

I have been going to Ritz hotels for 30 years. This property was nice, but it was not a Ritz experience. Honestly, I was very disappointed. The service was nice, but not Ritz. It other Ritz are going to this level of service and quality... well not in my book any longer.

We have been fortunate enough to stay at many different Ritz properties throughout the world. This property did not have the consistent service levels that other properties maintained. First, the in-room dining options were minimal. Second, the service across the board was abrupt and not comprehensive. Two examples: First, I accidentally left my briefcase in my car after it was parked by the valet and it appeared to be a "big deal" for him to go retrieve it. The second example was it was pouring rain and we asked if there was a courtesy shuttle to take us to dinner rather than walk the 6 blocks in the rain and the guest services rep laughed and replied "no". When I asked if they could suggest other options, there was silence and no response. It was a weird interaction. I am being a bit harsh but Ritz as a brand has higher expectations and based upon our interactions and experience with other Ritz properties, this one was not up to those other experiences.

This property was beautiful from start to finish. A great location across the street from the Water. We really enjoyed the two Jacuzzi spas on the pool deck upstairs. And we had excellent service.

We just returned from our stay at the Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale. Almost all of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could possibly be. The weather was perfect and the ocean was so warm So much to do and see within easy walking distances. We will most definitely return.

We choose the Ritz for a getaway from Miaml. Our first time at any Ritz. First of all the hotel doesn’t have a private beach, it is a zone at Las Olas a very busy beach in Ft Lauderdale. Its next to a bar, so if you are looking for peace this is not the place. The hotel has a construction im the rear street, so unless you have a room with Front view to the ocean you can avoid paying extra for the view. The check in agent was very kind , she offered us champagne ans she gave us an upgrade for our anniverto the 12 th floor. The room was basicLly the same we has choosen but in an upoer floor. Again no view, the room next it can be seen from the balcony ans we heard noise since 3-m not only from the neighbors but from the pipes. There is titling light in the room of the smoke detector that makes it hard to sleep as well. The facilities are nice, the room is comfortable and with nice decoration but not for almost $900/ night. The pool area is nice. The restaurant of the hotel is loud and dark inside. We sat at the bar outside with view to the street. Food was excellent. Overall its an ok hotel but it was not at all a remarkable experience for the money paid.

I really loved the location and the quality of the entire hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and the bed provided a wonderful rest every night. The food was delicious and wonderfully presented.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Ritz Carlton Ft. Lauderdale Beach. The room was bright and airy, clean and comfortable. The view was breathtakingly beautiful. We had a patio overlooking the ocean and pool, we sat out there for hours soaking it all in. The staff was tremendous, friendly and helpful. Coundn't have asked for a better staycation.
