Really good value for money and a very convenient location. The staff are friendly, the food is good, and both the room rates and the prices for food and drinks inside the hotel were reasonable. The air conditioning isn’t a true A/C system, but it does blow cool air and is good enough even during the very hot summer weather we’ve just had. The location is excellent for quick access to Cambridge, Stansted Airport and the surrounding areas. Like most places these days, there is a charge for parking, but the train station is literally on the doorstep, which is a big plus. Overall, a comfortable and well-priced stay in a very practical location. Will happily stay again.

I booked this hotel for 3 guests to stay for a week during the heatwave as it advertised as having air-conditioning, On the first night, the guests realised that the A/C was broken and the temperatures in the rooms was at 30 degrees, with guest being unable to open their windows more than a couple of inches. This was raised with the reception staff and they advised the A/C would be broken for at least another week or two, and were not able to move guests to alternative rooms, meaning that they had to check out after the first night, and I had to find alternative accommodation due to health and safety concerns. The lead guest asked to have this in writing, which the hotel has since ignored all emails. I have also tried to claim a refund for the unused nights through Hotels.com and the hotel manager and all other staff have ignored all emails, and the manager refused to take calls. One of the guests also left a pair of designer sunglasses and some other items in one of the rooms in the hurry to leave after such poor sleep, and asked the hotel to return them to him, and he has not had any response to that either. Very poor customer service at this hotel and do not recommend.

Air conditioning was broken, had to ask for a fan and room temperature didn’t go below 26. Room was dirty and I was told to email as it was an outside agency in charge of cleaning. Really disappointed about the hotel and the cleanliness for the price we paid. Have had better standards at a youth hostel to be honest! Dirt….hair.. (not ours) … a very strong urine smell… to mention a few things. I took photos and I WILL be emailing the hotel management regarding the situation as substandard doesn’t cover how we felt about it Would not return under any circumstances that I can foresee

We stayed at this hotel with the intention to go to Cambridge. It's close to a park&ride and it's next to the trainstation. Very good location for that. Good parkering too. The room was good, the staff was good and the breakfast was good.
