Lalandia Billund

Our second stay at Lalandia. This time we went for a family trip during UK October half term for 6 days in Classic 8 house. Clean lodging and well equipped for kids and our elderly parents. Bring your own hairdryer though! Convenient location from the housing area to the main activity centre at Lalandia, and Legoland. A bit further out for the Lego House/town centre but still walkable distance. Very nice Lalandia staff as well, especially the shuttle drivers who were patient and helpful. Onsite restaurants and supermarket were higher priced as you might expect for a tourist location. Aquadome has some fantastic slides/play areas for the kids. The wristband system for payments, locker and house access was very convenient. Kids are hoping to return again next year!

Amazing pool and facilities for the family, and right next to Legoland

Brilliant water park. Lots for the children (7 and 9) to do on site. Lodge was clean and well equipped. Great location for LEGOLAND and Lego house.

Facilities are fantastic but accommodation can be up to 20 minute walk from the Lalandia hub. Not enough transport to the hub. Perfect for walking across the road to Legoland or into Billund for the Lego House.

The shuttle bus schedule is too limited, only available every 30 min and limited spaces, not able to get on the bus during peak hours

Very good place for families with kids, all facilities and activities for kids under 1 roof, only drawback was the walking distance from holiday home to the main lalandia activities area. There was is only 1 small train every 30 mins, and that too was always full to get a seat. It is difficult with toddlers to walk long distances after a tiring day at legoland and with luggage.

We had a great 5 night stay as a young family of 5 (kids aged 6, 3 and 1) here and had a fantastic time staying at the Lalandia lodge. It was clean and had everything stated, we were provided with a cot and checked in at the reception, which was easy to do. One thing to note is that you get charged for bedding and have to make your beds yourself. Also you get charged for energy and water costs but when we went in October, although it was cold, the lodge was very warm and we didn't have to turn the heating on during our stay. The activities provided were great and we made use of the swimming and softplay that were included with staying at the lodge. Our 6 year old could access most of the activities, which we did a pay as you go. He did: ice skating, tobogganing, wall climbing, mini golf and zip wire and as a family we did bowling, shuffleboard and football pool. Pay as you go worked well for us as our 2 younger ones couldn't access everything but if all 3 of them were over 6 years old, we would have booked through the Lalandia website and booked the gold wristbands where you can go on all the activities unlimited times during your stay but you have to buy them 5 days in advance and the whole household have to buy them. We tried all the restaurants and they were pretty decent. It did get expensive though so we made use of the supermarket there and had a few sandwich lunches. As a kitchen is provided at the lodge, we saw many families buying groceries to cook dinner too.

Lovely accommodation but let down by facilities closing early. I would have given 5 stars but didn't because they charge you extra for towels, bed linen and the gas, electric, water that is used in the accommodation. Their pricing should be more transparent! I would prefer to pay larger upfront costs rather sneaky unusual add on costs.

Lalandia was a great base for exploring Billund. The waterpark and facilities were fantastic. The grounds ans playparks were extensive and great for all age children.

Barnevennlig og flotte lekeplasser. Ikke så gode senger og veldig dårlige puter. Ikke helt topp renhold over alt, men heller ikke helt forferdelig.

Las cabañas son muy amplias y tienen todo lo necesario para sentirte como en casa y poder cocinar y descansar. Todas tienen trona y cuna. Mejoraría un poco la limpieza, ya que el mueble del baño tenía salpicaduras de pasta de dientes y los tiradores de casi todas las puertas y cajones estaban pegajosos. Sitio tranquilo y silencioso. Tiene lavadora y secadora. A mejorar, aumentar la frecuencia del tren hacia la zona del aquadome o añadirle vagones. Sitio muy divertido, a 5 min andando de legoland. A tener en cuenta que hay q pagar por toallas y sabanas y también el consumo de luz y agua de la cabaña. Sin duda repetiría.

Ants all over bathroom, kitchen. Rigid staff, no flexibility. Wont come back

The lodges were lovely and clean, there is lots of space between them so you never felt overlooked. They also provided more things in the house than I'm used to. There was dishwasher tablets and tea towels. The shop in the main building was also really good and not too expensive. If anything the site is too big and a long walk to the main bit especially if you have a child who normally doesn't use a buggy. The main bit is really good and has lots to do. There wasn't much live entertainment when we were there despite having a stage. Legoland and Wow park are within walking distance both of which id reccomend and need full days.

dårlige kundeservice og der var møg beskidt i huset vi havde lejet selvom det skulle være et allergivenligt hus.Huset var mega slidt og der var en masse ting der var gået i stykker som ikke var lavet. Det var mange dårlige oplevelser med personalet hvor der blev givet forskellige instrukser - alt i alt en dårlig oplevelse til pengene

Overordnet er godt ophold. Dog kunne puderne trænge til en udskiftning eller en vask. Fyldet i puderne var klumpet sammen.

We absolutely loved the resort, well maintained and so much for the kids to do. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious. The only downside was the blinds in our lodge were not blackout. Also, we didnt have a car as we flew and our lodge was one of the furthest away (15 mins from check-in desk) which was a bit of a pain when lugging suitcases, however a shuttle bus does run every 30 mins which you can use. Regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definately return.

Vi havde (igen) et 8-personers hus, som fuldt ud svarede til det beskrevne og de tilgængelige fotos. Køkkenet er veludstyret og alt i huset var i god stand.

Opholdet generelt, var ikke som forventet. Aquadome er virkelig kold, især vandet. Jeg kunne kun holde ud at være i baby området, jacuzzi området samt knap og nap den pool hvor der kommer bølger. Maden er ekstremt dyr, også drikke varerne. Vi forsøgte at finde en restaurant udenfor Lalandia - der kan Cafe B anbefales. Dog er der minimalt med valgmuligheder. Parkeringsmuligheder ved Lalandia burde være med i prisen under ophold. Lalandia indendørs er generel meget kold, og stort set alle går med jakker indendørs. Er man aktiv, er temeraturen fin. Det var svært at finde en passende temperatur i hytten, eneren blev det for varmt eller for koldt. Hverken store eller små har sovet specielt godt i sengene og dobbeltsengene er to enkeltsenge skubbet sammen, som selvfølgelig under søvn glider væk fra hinanden. Puderne er alt efter hvad man foretrækker - jeg synes de var dårlige og uden ret meget indhold. Dog varmer hytten godt og hurtigt op, og der var rent. Det lugtede dog af kraftige rengørings midler og lugten forsvandt ikke i den tid vi var der (4 dage).

En stor fint hus med 3 sovrum. Vi hade allt vi behövde för våra 3 nätter. Skönt att vila ut efter fulla dagar på Legoland och att ha skoj på vattenlandet. Kan tycka att priset är lite väl dyrt och lite sniket att ta betalt för lakan, handdukar, el, värme och vatten. Det borde verkligen ingå.

Själva Lalandia med vattenparken och området omkring är verkligen toppen. Stugan vi bodde i (design 6) kan dock behöva lite kärlek från ägaren. Ingen AC = det är runt 30c i stugan när man kommer hem efter en rolig dag. Mindre kul att behöva vädra ut flera timmar för att kunna vara i stugan. AC + ventilation är därmed obefintlig. Och på detta så får vi alla duntäcken! på sommaren, när det är sommarvärme? Nä, där får ni allt tänka om. Som sagt, själva aktivitetsområdet är jättebra, men stugorna måste ni ge lite kärlek.

Familjevänliga stugor. Gratis parkering vid stugan men relativt långa promenadavstånd för barn till Lalandia/Legoland. Ljud från intilliggande flygplatsen stör från tidig morgon till sen kväll. Inga laddagationer för elbil men löpspår runt området vilket var trevligt.

Just had an amazing few days in Billund. Legoland, Lego House, Lalandia. Everywhere is walking distance. All the staff were amazing, so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The Lego House is a great day out. The prices in Denmark/Billund are about the same as the UK for food and drinks. The supermarket in Lalandia is fantastic. The accommodation was clean and spacious. The Italian Pizza in the Plaza at Lalandia is fantastic. All freshly made to order. Billund is flat and we found it very disabled friendly for wheelchairs. I wish I had found this place when before :) Great for a mini break.

There are a few discrepancies between the listing on Expedia and the actual resort. The front desk closed at 6, not at 7 as listed on Expedia. But because of this, I was able to meet Sebastian. He was professional, funny, and most helpful. He made my stay much better. His girlfriend is lucky to have him, and the princess of Denmark would be lucky to have him for a boyfriend, as well!

Check-in was abysmal: having to wait 20 minutes outside a closed reception (we arrived at about 6 PM). It felt very, very unwelcoming. Also, the house was very hot and therefore very uncomfortable to sleep in. Other than that, everything is fine.

Aquadome och själva Lalandia var bra med många saker att göra men det var riktigt dålig service i restaurangerna. Det var ofta vi fick vänta väldigt länge innan man fick beställa och flera gånger glömdes vår dryck. Vid ett tillfälle fick vi drycken efter att vi ätit upp.

This 'resort' will nickel and dime you to death! From charging to use bed sheets and even pillow cases for the accomodation you paid for to charging for electricity, water and power used to charging additional for the access to the water park this 'resort' (I use that term very lightly as this place is far from a resort) to charging additional for late check out and requiring 48 hrs. in advance to request to pay for a late check out this place will leave you wishing you had stayed elsewhere. Oh - and not to mention checking in advance to ensure late check-in was okay only to arrive and find the 'reception' - called "Service Center" closed and the late check in number agent refusing to help. Do your homework before considering staying here.

The staff were very helpful always, especially when I contacted them in advance to arrange linens because we would be checking in late. The onsite supermarket is well stocked and reasonably priced. Our house was clean and comfortable and convenient and everything is very handy to access using the shuttle or walking. The only trouble we had was in finding the service centre, which is inside the large main activity building. The house addresses are the street names you should use to navigate. Lots of fun at the Aquadome and wonderful playgrounds in every “neighbourhood”! Legoland walkable from the main building which is accessible via a train run by the resort.

Kjempefin plass , perfekt for barnefamilier☀️ Noe skuffet over servicen, da vi hadde en alarm i huset som pågikk i mange timer før de gjorde noe med det. Fikk ingen forklaring og heller ikke noe annet tilbud om overnatting.

It would be good to be able to sort out the late check in much earlier than on the day. It was a bit stressful having to call and difficult as we had to take time out of work. It also was a bit concerning that one of the lalandia people we Spoke to said we couldn’t order a linen package, but another said we could. This is a problem as it is not really possible to bring linen with you when you are flying.

We loved staying here, everything within walking distance including LEGOLAND and the airport just 5 minutes away

Accessibility is very good to both lalandia and to lego land. Very close to the airport. Free small train every 30 mins. From your cottage location to lalandia. Cottages are very nice. Good stay for families. Price is on higher side. Will be good if toiletries are provided in the price if the prices are high.

We had to walk 1,6km to go to the swimming area or wait 3in for a little train that was always full. So it meant loosing 2h per day in going back and forth and a lot of frustration. No bike rental possibility. Accessibility and transport is really a big minus.

Toppen fräscha stugor, jätteroligt badland och Legoland är ju fantastiskt. Förvånande bra mat både på badlandet och Legoland, väldigt förvånad där faktiskt. Men allt är väldigt dyrt nu, en del pga valutakursen men 2 vuxna fish and chip och 2 barn samma inne på Legoland ca 800kr. Badlandet lika så (annan mat).

Dänemark ist von den Lebensmitteln etwas teuer, aber wenn man ggf. etwas mitbringt ist das kein Problem. Legoland ist gleich nebenan, einfach Top.
