A brilliant stay! Great facilities (pool, gym, sauna, kids play rooms) loads of outside spaces to sit and surrounded by nature! Outstanding breakfast. Super clean and relaxed! Large comfy room (we had a ground floor courtyard room so had a small outside space with a table and chairs) easy walking distance of Llandia and Legoland) and a lovely stroll through the sculpture park to Lego House and town. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, very helpful with public transport to the airport and train station in the next town. Can’t wait to find an excuse to stay here again, highly recommend, you should definitely stay here!

Vi skulle kun have haft en overnatning, men blev to. Var afsted to voksne og to børn på 15. Super pool plus område, fantastiske aktivitets muligheder med skak, fodbold, hockey, boldtræning, Lego, bordtennis, bordfodbold jamen jeg kunne blive ved. Dejlige opholdsområder med brætspil og pejs osv Kommer helt sikkert igen, følte os hjemme og fik slappet rigtigt af.

Nice hotel, great location for Lego land. Sadly no adult swim times in the pool and freezing cold water led to disappointment with the pool. Couldnt move for childrens floats, couldnt hear yourself think over the screamimg. Sadly several parents who felt it was ok to get out of the pool.soaking wet and jump in the lift in just wet swimwear to walk theough main hotel.dripping wayer everywhere.

The staff at The Lodge were welcoming and the check in was efficient. The room was hot on entry but opening the window sorted this. The room was lightly serviced everybday which meant new towels only. Whilst tea and coffee was provided, I had to ask for a cup on my second day, and leave a note asking for a clean cup on the third. One was provided but no stirrer so I borrowed a teaspoon from breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, there was a fantastic selection of cooked food, cold meats, yogurt, cereal, and of course pastries! The staff at The Lodge were friendly and helpful and a credit to the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious.

Stor variation på frukosten med mycket frukt. Mycket var hembakat och egengjort, vilket vi uppskattade. När till Legoland och Lalandia. Rummen kändes stora och rymliga, men något nergångna. Sängarna var slitna och väldigt mjuka, men funkar om man inte har problem med ryggen. Duschen var inte helt städad, det satt fast en stor hårtuss på duschslangen.

Could be a lovely hotel but let down by a few basic things. Our room wasnt ready for 3pm which is check in time. Only about half an hour but after a long drive, not what we needed. The first full day we were out all day and came back around 4:30pm to find the room had not been cleaned or serviced. I walked to reception and asked for cleaning. Housekeeping came straight away but no apology from reception. The next day the room was cleaned but not fully. No toilet roll left, no fresh glasses and dirty glasses not removed. We had a garden terrace room and having the door was great so the kids could play outside and let some much needed air into the room. No air conditioning. Not sure if its the same for all rooms, but for this price i expected it. The desk fan just wasnt enough to cool the room with 4 people trying to sleep. The pool was a great addition with lots of pool toys and floaties. This is needed as the pool is 1.5m the whole length so be aware with non swimmers. Breakfast was nice. We went for the earlier sitting and was perfect and quiet. I can imagine it got very busy the later you go. You need to book a breakfast time online before you go. The Deli in the hotel is very basic and expensive. Definitely plan to eat out for lunch and dinner and go elsewhere for supplies. We had a fridge in room hut wasnt cold at all so didnt use. Register your car for free parking. Location is great as could walk to Legoland and Legohouse.

The entire hotel is great. So clean and fresh. A super relaxed atmosphere. All the staff are friendly and professional. The room we had was clean and spacious. The breakfast in the morning is out of this world. So much to choose from. So fresh. The hardest thing was what to choose. So many options. I’m a vegitarian and my wife is vegan. We had no trouble finding things to eat. Sets you up for the day. The greatest area is so opts and so clean. Very comfortable as well. We used the pool. A bit small but so clean one. The changing rooms are also spotless. The only thing was that it’s one depth all over 1.5m. However there are ample floats and other floating devices. Brilliant hotel. We’ve returned a number of times and have never been disappointed. Well to all the staff.

Convenient location, a 10-15 min walk to Lego House (cool sculpture park and scenic route) and Legoland. The rooms were clean and decent. The only real issue we had was that our room was just at the top of the stairs so we could hear the loud party at the bar since it's all open concept with the bar right next to reception in the lobby (and both were staffed by the same one person, btw so service can be a bit slow). The bar is open until 2am, but in our case it did quiet by about 10:30pm. And being at the top of the stairs also meant hearing people stomping up and down them. So bring earplugs. The ceiling was also at a slant in the rooms, a bit awkward for tall folks. We found the room quite dry and warm so opened the slanted window, no screen though. The breakfast buffet was a good spread of eggs and meats and cereals and breads and fruits and veg and chocolates.

In het hele hotel en op de kamer was het ontzettend warm. Geen airco of climat-control aanwezig. Daarnaast waren de bedden slecht. Wij zijn hierom ook een dag eerder weggegaan. Ontbijt daarin tegen was erg goed en lekker.

Quiet, Great breakfast, does not do any other meals. 5 minute walk to legoland. 20 mins to legohouse and centre of Billund through sculpture park. Didn’t get to use pool due to time. Room was hot for us. Would recommend

Nice and cosy hotel. Good location to airport and Legoland but far away from shopping and restaurants. Rooms needs an upgrade. Needs better soundproofing as uou can hear other guests in nearby rooms

Decent countryside hotel with good location close to Legoland and downtown Billund. Nice park with art walk nearby. Rooms are okay, bathroom a bit dated. Breakfast is excellent and generous. Very limited in-room amenities.

Very close to Legoland and Lalandia. It took us 5min to walk to the entrance of Legoland. Everything was excellent apart from that the room was very warm, even with the windows open.

Very nice hotel and a welcome alternative to the Legoland Hotel for older children. Our Suite was very nice, clean and spacious. However… we found the room noisy as the soundproofing between rooms is poor - footfall and slamming doors.

The lady at reception was outstanding. We had left our passports in Copenhagen and she called the hotel to ensure they held them until we could pick them up. She also researched a number of options to retrieve them via courier. Hotel was great but this young woman was exceptional!

I had booked a twin room-double bed with sofa bed, but was given a double room. We were told that the hotel was full and nothing could be done. The double bed pulled apart into 2 singles but the bedside tables were fixed to the wall so one bed ended up in the middle of the room, no headboard, no bedside table making the room much smaller to walk around and manage our bags. A staff member came up to the room to check that we were happy which we expressed that we were not for the price we'd paid-this was supposed to be a lovely break for 2 friends to enjoy and we had paid more to stay here only for us to have a smaller room than paid for and one be in the middle of the room. We were offered an apology but nothing by the way of resolution or recompense which is not good enough. Breakfast was very good as we'd experienced on previous stays, but didn't make up for the room experience and lack of customer service to resolve the room which is 95% of the stay!

A staff member came up to the room to check that we were happy which we expressed that we were not for the price we'd paid-this was supposed to be a lovely break for 2 friends to enjoy and we had paid more to stay here only for us to have a smaller room than paid for and one be in the middle of the room. We were offered an apology but nothing by the way of resolution or recompense which is not good enough. Breakfast was very good as we'd experienced on previous stays, but didn't make up for the room experience and lack of customer service to resolve the room which is 95% of the stay!

From the time I walked in to the time I left I felt welcome. The front desk booked a taxi for me and arranged a breakfast to go at 4 AM. I was served by three different staff members and all were friendly, efficient and very helpful. I would definitely recommend The Billund Lodge.

Nice enough hotel with pleasant breakfast. Issue is with reception, when I asked to book a further night I was told that to stay in the room I was in they could only do it through their system charging me £65 more than Hotels.com. I was told if I booked through Hotels.com, I would have to check out my room and then check back into it the next day. Excuse was the system won’t let me do it. In the end, we just took our business elsewhere

Quiet, Great breakfast, does not do any other meals. 5 minute walk to legoland. 20 mins to legohouse and centre of Billund through sculpture park. Didn’t get to use pool due to time. Room was hot for us. Would recommend

Excellent location for visiting Waterpark, Legoland and Lego House. The latter just a 20 minute walk through a lovely sculpture park. Good level of accommodation with great breakfast. Right next to airport so no more sleeping after 6am. Seems pricey but it’s half the price of Legoland hotels and given you spend no time in it I’d say it’s a better option.

The hotel is in a great location - on the edge of some woods and within an easy walk of both Legoland and Lego House (and Billund itself, of course). It is incredibly quiet with comfortable rooms and good facilities - and very helpful staff All-in-all, a great stay

Great little hotel with friendly staff and fabulous breakfast. There was no restaurant onsite which was disappointing when arriving late but staff were very helpful in suggesting options. Slight confusion over breakfast. Breakfast was included but you still had to book a time slot. The entire hotel is great. So clean and fresh. A super relaxed atmosphere. All the staff are friendly and professional. The room we had was clean and spacious. The breakfast in the morning is out of this world. So much to choose from. So fresh. The hardest thing was what to choose. So many options. I’m a vegitarian and my wife is vegan. We had no trouble finding things to eat. Sets you up for the day. The greatest area is so opts and so clean. Very comfortable as well. We used the pool. A bit small but so clean one. The changing rooms are also spotless. The only thing was that it’s one depth all over 1.5m. However there are ample floats and other floating devices. Brilliant hotel. We’ve returned a number of times and have never been disappointed. Well to all the staff.

Wow! What a place - wish we'd booked in here for longer than just the one night. It was a lovely place to stay. The pool was great, nice sauna too... the rooms were great (no AC though so could be a problem if very hot).... the breakfast was great and the location perfect for all the attractions of Billund (Legoland!)

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is very close to LEGOLAND, which made our trip very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were excellent with a good variety of food. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again.
