The room was comfortable and clean and close to the beach. Parking was convenient and free. Pete's upper deck was a great place to eat and chill, rain or shine, and i liked the live music. Walking to the beach was quick and easy. The only thing that wasn't ideal was the pool was too warm, and the pool/hot tub area closed at 8pm....nobody was using the pool but i would have liked to after the sun came down.

Everything was as advertised! Clean and very convenient to beach and beach life! Beds are comfortable and area is safe and quiet! Beautiful clean pool, laundry facilities and restaurant on site! We rented a pontoon boat right around the corner and we were able to dock in front of our room! 3 minutes walk to beach and time square… with kids! Would definitely recommend and come back!!!

Quaint place on the Bay, delicious fast breakfast pizza at the upstairs bar/restaurant and wonderful crunchy grouper for dinner below. Loved the fresh new rooms!

We really enjoyed our stay! Located close to everything, we walked to the beach, the farmers/craft market, live music at the park, everything. The pool and hot tub were very clean, although the closing hour varied and we missed out on the hot tub time one night. We paid the little bit extra to have a waterside room, and that was well worth it! The view and sitting area outside the room was beautiful and a calm reprieve from the noise and crowds at the beach. Beach chairs and towels being provided, if you ask, were very helpful! It would have been nice to have the room more well stocked, but anything we asked for at the office, they provided; i.e. hair dryer, toothbrush, plates, paper towels, etc. We would definitely stay again if we're back in the Ft. Myers area.

5 minute walk to Crescent Beach plus many restaurants and other small eateries including food trucks and other vendors. Penney, the property manager, and the staff are very helpful. They should add a couple of extra umbrellas in the pool area and the pool water was too warm. Overall, I consider the Matanzas Inn an excellent value for the money compared to comparables in the area.

This is a great place to stay on Fort Myer's Beach. Rooms are very nice and clean, very friendly staff and just all around wonderful location for walking around the island. Would highly recommend.

They have done an excellent job remodeling after the damage the hurricane caused. The room was clean and beautiful. The pool was refreshing. We'll be back!

We had a nice 7 day stay and the location was great for getting around. However, the location is also noisy. Our balcony suite was right by the bar and restaurant which was very noisy. The room was clean, but needs updating such as; bathroom fan, working USB ports and 110v outlets. It has easy parking and easy access to the bridge. The views from our balcony were very nice and their restaurant has great food.

We planned a staycation for my friend's birthday weekend. Room was a great location overlooked restaurant and the water for an amazing view! Penny was very accommodating to our needs. We were able to walk to a lot of places. Pool and Spa were very relaxing. The only issue I would mention is the HVAC until was leaking water all over the floor. Otherwise, we had a great time and will definitely be back in the future.

It's a beautiful property, and we loved our stay. It's clean and convenient, and the staff is so friendly. The location is amazing—so peaceful and calm. It's an easy walk to the beach and other restaurants and bars. We would stay here again for sure. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars was the electrical set up - with two teens we had issues keeping all our phone and devices charged, very few electrical outlets in the bedroom and the USB ports on the light fixtures didn't work. If you used the bathroom outlets they turned off if you turned off the light in the bathroom. So bring charging banks if you've got lots of charging needs.

When we arrived, the air conditioner in the main part of the unit was not working the bedroom one was Erica did everything she could to try to get it going to no avail spoke the next day to Penny the manager she got right on it called the air conditioning company and had it replaced before noon

the place was an lover charged Motel 6! Everything about it was old and worn out, not worth the money. and the traffic on the island is horrible it took 3 hrs to get back to our motel, only 3miles away. However, the staff is great the gave us a refund when we decided to leave early.

Just an overnight stay. Honestly the best service I’ve ever had at any hotel. Fast friendly service. Front desk called me in the morning to ask me what time to expect me and to let me know my room was ready. Nice, clean and comfortable place - close to everything.

We loved everything about this property. The location was super convenient, and we were able to walk to all the area bars and restaurants. The hotel was very clean and well- maintained. Erica and Holly were amazing! I got a personal call that the room was ready early for check-in. We had a delayed flight and they got us situated for late check-in which was very simple. We also met some locals who told us the Inn was the best spot for pizza in town. The bay is quiet so I was able to work one day out on their back patio which was a nice treat. The walk to the beach and main strip was 5 min. After check-out we were able to come back and use their boat house shower before boarding our plane. They were so hospitable!

We had a nice 7 day stay and the location was great for getting around. However, the location is also noisy. Our balcony suite was right by the bar and restaurant which was very noisy. The room was clean, but needs updating such as; bathroom fan, working USB ports and 110v outlets. It has easy parking and easy access to the bridge. The views from our balcony were very nice and their restaurant has great food.

Love this property and how easy it was to get places! The property has a bar restaurant that plays live music daily. It’s a huge hot spot for boaters to stop for dinner/lunch. Very fun!

The hotel was wonderful. The restaurant was terrible. Took name to sear you, then when asked when are being sat after a drink, they said they are not seating anymore people. Like really, waited for 1/2 hour waiting for seat. Terrible.
