Convenient to good shopping and dining options at King's Shops and Queen's Marketplace. Beautifully maintained grounds. The main downside was the lack of convenience in obtaining and returning pool towels. We were in Building 24 and there was never an attendant at the pool between our building and Building 25, despite being informed by the main pool house attendant that someone would be there. The front desk said there's a staffing shortage. Another on-property dining option other than the Bistro would have been nice.

We absolutely loved our stay at King’s Land! We had access to three different pool areas , one outside of our condo (had a waterslide) , pools with multiple slides , baby beach area and adult pool area at the main check in building and you also have full access to the pools at the Hilton Waikaloa!! We traveled with our two kids ages 13 and 11 and they had a total blast swimming in all of the pools and so did my husband and I ! Our room was a 2 bedroom suite with the golf course view and wow did our room have an abundance of space! We already are planning our trip back and can’t imagine staying anywhere else on the Big Island other than King’s Land!

Overall great! Pools are beautiful. Slides for kids and an adult only pool section. Quiet. No food or beverage options past 6pm tho. But a lot of places close by to drive to. Staff super nice.

Great property. The pools were beautiful and finding chairs was not a problem. The adult pool had plenty of umbrellas and shady spots to keep sun off when desired. The cold plunge pool was exhilarating and helped the joints. Every staff member was courteous and acknowledged us each day. Our unit was very clean and well stocked with utensils and plates. The convection microwave was great for quick meals. The grills were great. Hope to visit again.

I loved this property. Such a beautiful property. The pools were awesome, my kids loved the water slides. Kings Land is so spacious and comfortable. Our room had a really nice dining table and great view. I would definitely come back here. It’s a perfect mix of a hotel but has the amenities of an air b&b (kitchen, washer/dryer)

I wish the music starts from 5 and ends at 7, this is because a lot of tourists go out in the morning and won’t come back until evening. We never had a chance to listen to the music. I also wish the bistro opens until 7;30. 6pm is too early. We were not able to get food unless we drive out.

The hotel and its amenities are top notch. The rooms were spacious (loved the massive showers), the pools were a big hit with our kids, and we loved walking down to the Hilton Waikoloa Village every morning. Bring able to use their pools/lagoon for free was absolutely wonderful.

Nice, clean, well equipped condo. Nice pool and access to the Hilton pools and lagoon was a bonus. Good activities for kids everyday in the keiki club and great sandy area with waterslide for kids to play.

The suite we were in was spacious and beautiful. It was fairly quiet where we stayed. The pools were nice and they had a section for smaller children. The property is large so we did have to drive to get to the pool. The major downside to the stay, there was a cockroach issue. We found them under the kitchen sink, coming out of the electrical socket, and on the kitchen counter. Informed staff multiple times and was told maintenance would check it out. But even then, there was still roaches. Understandably, roaches aren’t very easy to get rid of. We were not offered another room or an alternative option. It was inconvenient because we could not leave any food on the kitchen counters or even while making food. We had to keep the trash can out from under the sink so the roaches wouldn’t get into it.

Besides the concierge and a few waiters at the bistro in the clubhouse the employees seemed like they would rather be anywhere else than working. I get that somedays you don't want to be at work but you have to put on a smile and be pleasant when working in customer service. Our room was nice besides the shower having mold and the inside of the toilet had black smeared stuff. We had our room cleaned on the deep clean day and they took all of our towels and didn't replace them. We had to call twice and eventually I had to walk over to the clubhouse to ask for towels. It's been awhile since I have stayed in a resort and will definitely go back to VRBO. The hidden charges/fees to stay in the resort are ridiculous and with the employees not making the stay better I would rather not pay for the extras. The pools are definitely nice if you have young kids and the adult pool was great if you wanted to swim and lay out somewhere with less people.

Room wasn’t clean at all floors felt sticky there were left over trash under the bed from the previous people who stayed there… shower would leak the water out and toilet wasn’t working didn’t have dish soap or a broom.. the pool had no towels

This is a very nice hotel . The staff are helpful, but the hotel needs to work on there cleaning. Elevator was not clean . The floor was very tans they need to clean the bathroom better. There is mold in the shower and on the side if the shower had caked on dust .

Everything was overall excellent. The kitchen was especially well-equipped with electronic appliances, making our stay very comfortable and convenient. However, the cleanliness of the room varied greatly depending on the staff in charge. In some cases, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, towels were not replenished, or the bed was left unmade. This is an area that definitely needs improvement.

We had multiple issues with ants. They came out and sprayed twice, but the ants kept coming. We ended up throwing away food due to the ants. We had to store everything in the fridge or microwave. The balcony outside the rooms were always dirty. They would sit trash outside the rooms to be picked up and they would leak. The entire 10 days we were there we walked around nasty puddles.

We really enjoyed the property (it's stunning) and the amenities. Being able to hop on the trolley and head over to all the other pools really gave us the variety during our vacation. Unfortunately, the property and staff could use some improvement. Upon getting our room, we found what looked like fecal matter in the pull-out bed. When we asked guest services, they came up and told us it was a dropping from cockroaches. We changed the sheets and because it was late, decided to go to bed and call for a cleaning the next day. Sadly, the cleaning was awful:they didn't sweep/mop, wipe the mirrors or counter, and didn't stock the toilet paper. We called them back a second day, and were then notified that we would only get 2 cleanings so that was it. I spent each day cleaning the room, myself. Anytime I passed a staff member, they were complaining about having to clean. Aside from the staff and lack of cleanliness, the location was great. Always sunny and close to Hapuna beach (beautiful!)

The rooms are very outdated and need a lot of remodeling. Small bedroom is actually with no windows, because you have to keep it close with wood panels all the time. The cleaning of the room was poor, the furniture, windows and light switches were dirty. The only thing we really liked was the swimming pool. The staff was mostly nice and helpful.

The room itself was nice, spacious and comfortable. Two things brought my rating down from Excellent. First the wood floors at the entrance and kitchen were dirty, second the button in the shower that allows the user to switch between the shower head and the hose extension was broken (it fell off the wall). Other minor things was the rim or frame around the water and ice maker on the refrigerator was also hanging off of the refrigerator door.

I have stayed at this property many times, as I enjoy it for business. However, this was the first time I was given a room with no shower, only a tub. I was a bit confused as 1. This has never happened to me and 2. The Room Type description says that there is a tub and shower. If having a shower is a dealbreaker for you, use this review as a warning to make sure you double check when you check-in. Other than this recent experience, I enjoy this property.

The room was VERY spacious. Kitchen had all amenities at needed. Loved the 2 bathrooms! Room was close to sound proof. The staff were also very sweet. This property was the farthest from the beach, but so much more worth it. The parking was right outside our unit. Whereas, parking for the resorts on the water were at least a quarter to almost a mile away from your room. I'd pick this hotel again.

This was a wonderful stay. We are a family of 5 (3 teens) and we had so much space within our elegant room. I loved having two bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen, etc. The resort was friendly, the pools were beautiful, and we had FULL access to other Hilton properties in the area which we did take advantage of, although I must say I ultimately was grateful for the quiet of our resort and how we didn’t need a tram to access things. In fact, a perk I didn’t realize I liked so much was being able to park the rental car so close to the room. Because we spent many of our days driving around the island (to Hawaii Volcanoes NP, South Island for an ATV tour, North area go access Hilo for. Cacao farm), it was nice to just walk out and get in the car… not having to retrieve the car from a distant parking lot or valet. We had goats visiting outside of room, a beautiful view of Mauna Kea, and the most beautifully kept grounds in general. Mahalo for an amazing stay.

Beautiful property and we were upgraded to a suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the top floor. Felt like an apartment! The pool was right next to our building and the shuttle picked up right outside and was very reliable to take to Kings Shops and Queens Marketplace. Would definitely stay here again!

Very impressed with the Kings Land. Definitely my favorite of all the Hilton options in Waikoloa. The rooms were upgraded and spacious. Very easy parking, luscious tropical gardens all throughout and conveniently located. I would stay here again

We really liked our two bedroom condo at this resort. When we arrived our room was not ready at the expected time of 4:00pm it was past 4:30 when it was available. The room was clean when we arrived, we did have to ask for some blankets since the air conditioning worked very well. Our biggest complaint is every day they came in the room took all the towels and left us with none. We were told by the staff we had to ask for the towels daily but they would only give us 4 even though we were a party of 6. This was a daily issue for us. The phone in our room did not work so we had to walk to the front desk to ask for towels daily. Our son did enjoy the pool and slides which was nice. We just wish we had towels to shower off when we got back to our room.

Became here for the first three days of our honeymoon. The hotel was absolutely stunning. The staff was amazing. We traveled for around 16 hours, and were up for 24 hours by the time we arrived. They made everything easy at check-in, and made sure we were comfortable. Nikki the bartender at the Holuholu grill is a gem. Honestly, all the staff was absolutely incredible. Well, well worth the value. Will be back!!!

Nice and clean property. Nearby there is marketplace. Room checkin was late. When I checked with Guest service when room will be ready, she mentioned don’t know and was not courteous. I asked her hour later and she mentioned she forgot to send message to me and was not even sorry about it. Overall, poor customer service.

Arrived at 220 pm check in is at 4. Clerk tried to charge me twice for the room when I already paid on Expedia. Clerk took my phone number and said they would text as soon as my room was available. I sat at the bar until 415 pm, then finally asked what the issue was. Surprise! My room was ready!

I want to start off and let Blake and Peggy (front desk/ reservations) know how satisfied we were with their customer service. Their awesome vibe kicked started our trip on the right foot. Our 2-bedroom suite was too legit-to-quit! We were here 4 years ago and we noticed that the rooms have been updated. Our building was quiet and we had no problems finding a parking spot after a long day of excursions. We were able to make time to lounge by the pool (loved the waterfalls and hot tubs). The grounds were kept well and manicured. We will definitely come back again! Mahalo🌺

Newly remodeled suite was spacious and well-appointed (except the coffee maker was iffy). In a very quiet area of Waikoloa, nothing in walking distance from the resort. Would love to see early morning coffee service there since the in-room coffee options were not great. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy and the free parking was fabulous as so many hotels are charging a lot for parking and you can't really get around without a car.

This is a huge mega resort so it can be a hike to things like the big family pool (but golf carts will pick you up promptly)… but it is such a nice feature to have apartment style condos for families. The area has a ton of dining and restaurant options, close to Hāpuna Beach which was incredible. Very clean, very communicative, very helpful. Room cleaning did great. Great stay in what I would say is the best resort part of the island.

The pool was great for my son! It felt very safe and a 25 minute drive from the airport. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Just make sure to do a Costco or grocery run beforehand because everything closes early.

This is a very clean, well-kept property and I’d stay here again if in the area. While not located right at the beach, they are an easy drive from several beaches. For those without cars they have a shuttle service to beach/shopping/restaurants in the area. The unit itself was modern and very clean. Great for families. There were 2 lovely pools with small Waterslides, and a quiet adult pool. The staff were very friendly and they checked in with us multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed. They have a place to store luggage and groceries if checking in early and the room isn’t ready - they text when it is. When I asked for a new pan it arrived quickly. If taking an evening flight out, there is an option of using a hospitality suite after the pool to clean up. One note - it is not walkable to things (could do but a bit far and too hot!). As a major bonus, you can use the big Hilton’s saltwater lagoon and pools for free (free parking too!) without paying the much higher room rates.

Rather disappointing stay at the Kings Land Hilton. The food should not even be considered edible. They essentially serve hotdogs at the “bistro” and the $25 breakfast is not even worthy of being served at a free buffet. It was horrible! Drinks from the bar that closed at 6pm were not great either. The layout of the rooms were decent, however, they do not provide a lot of basic necessities. My biggest complaint would be the fact that this is basically a local water park hangout for those living on the island. The pool was insanely overcrowded and the patrons who were clearly locals were very rude. They took up 16 chairs in one group and acted like tourist were an inconvenience. I have never experienced this anywhere else we have traveled. Unbeknownst to our group, the “resort” sells family passes to the pool for $25 per day. There did not appear to be anyone even monitoring the area. Had I known this I would have never stayed there. I paid more than that in daily resort fees. I do not recommend staying here. It is not a resort. It’s a motel. There are so many other amazing options in the area that actually offer what a resort should. There are also lovely homes and condos available to rent nearby that provide everything you could need for your trip. I would recommend booking one that is gated and provides everything you need for the beach (umbrellas, chairs etc.)

No ice machine in hotel and ice maker in rooms is disabled. If you don't mind driving a short bit, there are 2 "Marketplaces" within a 5-minute drive with lots of Dining Options. Pretty property and separate buildings for the rooms which helped reduce noise. Room was nice with a patio, kitchen, full size fridge, stove, microwave and walk in shower. The pool was really nice and big but not sure about the cleanliness since there were little kids in it and the water seemed a bit murky. The breakfast was great and totally worth $24 per person. Buffet style and a lot of options. The bar is only open til 6pm but they offer a drink cup which makes the drinks cheaper. My only couple of complaints are the live music is horrible. The bands are old, out of tune and loud which is not relaxing like other venues on the island. I did feel like there were a lot of seniors there so maybe that's the normal patrons at this resort and the type of music they played. The rooms didn't have any amenities such as shower cap, qtips, toothbrush, or toothpaste like other resorts. Also the cleaning crew would take my towels and washcloths but not replenish them so I'd have to ask for more. Parking is free and super easy to get to your room. We saw a grilling area outside too, which is great for eating there. I don't feel like there were a lot of great local restaurants around so I recommend getting food and cooking it at the resort. We did eat at Lava Lava Grill which was great but not impressed by the other surrounding restaurants. Overall, the resort was great on a budget but lacking with amenities and poolside service that you expect from a Hawaiian resort.

This place is great. The pool was amazing. Our condo was way bigger than we needed but we loved it. The staff were all great. Breakfast buffet was reasonably priced. Free parking was a nice perk. We went to the Hilton Waikloa Village for a pool day which was also great but we actually liked the pool at our king club resort better!

I wish the music starts from 5 and ends at 7, this is because a lot of tourists go out in the morning and won’t come back until evening. We never had a chance to listen to the music. I also wish the bistro opens until 7;30. 6pm is too early. We were not able to get food unless we drive out.

The property was pretty, and our room was beautiful and very clean. I bar area is only open for food until 5:45pm and drinks until 6:00pm. Communication with the front desk was super easy, they text you upon arrival and you can text with needs or questions' during your stay. We also enjoyed the use of the free shuttle to other areas and use of the main Hilton down the road.
