The best staff ever, I give them really 5 stars, good breakfast and dining, the place is of course very old, with lots of stairs and old stuff. Shower was very good. The small double room is really small, almost no place for one luggage. Important: it is not possible to open the window, not even a little bit. We had a room to the street and the street noise was not a problem. I used their earplugs and I had a good sleep. The window nothered me more!

Everything was very clean and fresh looking. Breakfast was well presented and delicious. The staff were all helpful especially the one who helped me to work the television in order to watch Wimbledon live. Agreat stay.

Definitely would book again, clean, comfortable and enjoyable stay, loved the style of decor and furnishings, Grand and Georgian. Staff friendly, welcoming and helpful. The fresh cooked cookies on arrival was a nice touch and yummy. Like the communal rooms, cosy and grand with wood burner fire going in the evening, and outside nice pub garden with fairy lights and canopy shelters. Breakfast also good and cooked well, including big mushrooms, tomatoes and nicely cooked poached eggs. Loved the rain shower and bathroom all nice and clean and also in style, Victorian.
