Fijn hotel. Ruime kamers met goede faciliteiten (comfort plus). Parkeren kon onder het hotel, fijn. Centrum op loopafstand. Omgeving lag open ivm nieuwe riolering ed, maar dat mocht de pret zeker niet drukken. Ontbijt hebben wij in de stad gedaan.

Stayed here during ROCK WERCHTER!! Getting to the festival takes 30 minutes. A nice hotel, but let down by some very expensive parking costs. The public parking in the area is not straightforward and the hotel is in a one-way system. So you really have no other option. The underground parking is tight.I was pleased we had a small hire car, as it would be very hard to park otherwise. The breakfast was also not cheap.

There is a lot of construction around the property, roads ripped up, making it difficult to get cabs. Also, we stayed two nights, and on both nights there was an event planned, so no food service was available.

Struttura davvero meravigliosa, carica di charme e storia. Arredi contemporanei dallo stile sobrio che si integrano perfettamente con l’architettura. Personale gentile e disponibile. Camera spettacolare, con finestre a mosaico, archi a volta nel soffitto, atmosfera quasi fiabesca. Pulizia impeccabile. Mechelen merita davvero una visita e questo hotel ne è una perla. Consigliatissimo!

On a tenté de nous donner une chambre qui avait été utilisé quelques temps avec des draps froissé et des traces de verres et bouteilles sur les meubles, après avoir refusé cette chambre, nous avons été replacé dans une chambre correct. Hatitude totalement déplacé pour un standing 4 étoiles... Sans cette incident le lieux atypiques donne un charme particulier a la chambre que nous avons apprécié.

We very much enjoyed our one night stay at this historic and unique property. We had a room on the second floor with stained glass window and the ability to see what the ceiling of the church would have looked like up close. The bed was comfortable and the listed amenities were available. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful.

Mooie kamer, vriendelijk personeel, ontbijt zeker in orde. Enkel de airco in de kamer was een absolute ramp… ik schatte de kamer 29 a 30 graden kamertemperatuur en gewoon niet af te koelen. Niet zo een goede nachtrust gehad.

Upmarket hotel fashion around large old Church. Good breakfast. Large rooms, but down side is they are very dark and gloomy despIre large windows, i.e. cant raise the heavy " net" curtains. Furnishing are very dark and inappropriately placed e.g Fridge nfront of the full length mirror. Nice staff. Good location.

Goede ligging. Op de kamer nauwelijks geluiden van buitenaf/gang. Dekbed had wat meer vulling kunnen gebruiken. Op de kamer zou het fijn zijn wanneer gordijnen (vouw) open kunnen ivm daglicht. Personeel receptie erg vriendelijk.

Hotel zentral gelegen in einer früheren Kirche, von derer Archtektur man aber ausser im Frühstückssal nicht sehr viel mitbekommt, da innen sehr modern ausgebaut. Bequemes & grosses Bett, aber keine Strom-Stecker für Geschäftsreisende die einen Laptop/Mobiltelefon laden wollen... man muss erst mühsam Kaffemaschine oder Nachttischlampen ausstecken, um an den Strom zu kommen - was sich der Architekt wohl dabei gedacht hat?

Wir hatten ein traumhaft schönes Zimmer, die Atmosphäre im ganzen Hotel war einfach besonders und sehr gut. Das Personal war hilfreich, sehr freundlich und kompetent. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt.

We hebben hele leuke dagen gehad in Mechelen. Een erg leuke stad. Hele leuke excursies en stadswandeling gedaan. De ontvangst was helaas niet erg gastvrij. Niet erg behulpzaam voor onze vragen en geen enkele uitleg over tijden en plek van ontbijt enz. We hadden ook nog wel wat punten voor het hotel. Het zou fijn zijn als er naast een koffieapparaat ook een waterkoker met theezakjes zou zijn. De vitragegordijnen zagen er mooi uit, maar erg onhandig. Je kon ze niet optrekken en niet naar buiten kijken of het raam open laten. Ook geen haakjes aan het raam om vast te zetten. Stopcontacten naast het bed voor opladen telefoon ontbraken. Erg weinig haakjes voor handdoeken in de badkamer en in het halletje voor de jassen. Weinig ruimte in de badkamer om iets neer te zetten. Geen fonteintje in de aparte toilet en ook geen prullenbak. Het ontbijt was prima en goed verzorgd.

The hotel is amazing, service great and facilities excellent. We had a problem with the aircon in the room which was fixed quickly. I would say that the hotel will be due a small refurb in the next 2-3 years as a few shabby parts but I love this place.

Je werd goed geïnformeerd waar je je auto kon parkeren. Alles was op loopafstand. Je zat zo in t centrum. De kamer was als verwacht. Vriendelijk personeel en s morgens een heerlijk ontbijtje in een mooie eetzaal. Genoten!

Stayed here during ROCK WERCHTER!! Getting to the festival takes 30 minutes. A nice hotel, but let down by some very expensive parking costs. The public parking in the area is not straightforward and the hotel is in a one-way system. So you really have no other option. The underground parking is tight.I was pleased we had a small hire car, as it would be very hard to park otherwise. The breakfast was also not cheap.

Upmarket hotel fashion around large old Church. Good breakfast. Large rooms, but down side is they are very dark and gloomy despIre large windows, i.e. cant raise the heavy " net" curtains. Furnishing are very dark and inappropriately placed e.g Fridge nfront of the full length mirror. Nice staff. Good location.

Room and breakfast wasn’t worth 250.00 euro a night Tired room needed paint and a good clean of the furniture. I’d stay again but I’d choose a cheaper room as the extra cost for a premium room seemed like a poor choice

This is a spectacular unique hotel in a lovely quiet area, we stayed when there was a heatwave, but the manager was so understanding and helpful, i would definitly recomend staying in this hotel especially on the 5th floor rooms, we will be back again as we didn't have a lot of time to explore the area, which is also beautiful with a river running through, thank you.
