They messed up our reservations. The carpet and couch were disgusting I couldn’t wait to leave. The gym was under construction. The first room they gave us was completely under construction. I wouldn’t be a bad place if they updated.

I will not stay again but please read to end as to why. GOOD: Free onsite parking. 2 rooms I saw were spacious with sink, dishwasher, stovetop, full sized fridge, desk, and TV. When I requested room change option, it was managed promptly & kindly. MEDIOCRE: This area has nothing in area to do or get food after 10p. Staff seemed annoyed at my 10:40pm checking but checking was easy. I think room change triggered me getting billed by both EXPEDIA 12/7/22 & Candlewood Suites 12/8/22. When 2nd charge popped up, I called & was treated rudely by someone stating they already realized the error & are working on it. Sadly, a mishap proved 3rd party sites aren't always best rates for a second time. I paid $12 more for hotel thru EXPEDIA than their actual rate. BAD: Got to room & 1st thing noticed was toilet running. Went to jiggle handle & 3 big bugs scurried across bathroom floor to underneath sink cabinet when light came on. This EXPEDIA booking was non refundable & I was exhausted. Requested room change & was accommodated. 2nd room showed no signs of bugs but definitely run down. Hotel is nice outside BUT INSIDE NEEDS thoroughly cleaned top to bottom, painted, and damaged worn furniture replaced & until then start charging $69 a night. Not worth more as is.

While the staff was excellent, sadly the property is lacking in sufficient renovation. The fridge in our room didn't produce ice, and in fact lost cooling during our stay. Our cooler did a better job keeping things cold. The ice machine off the lobby was broken and I was told it had been that way 3 months. Baby roaches were everywhere in our room and also the other room we reserved for our friends. The bed in the queen suite has about a foot clearance to the wall on one side and no nightstand. The HVAC was either too warm or too cool, unable to maintain a preset temp. Compared to our stay this time last year, conditions have sadly worsened.

Staff were very nice and accommodating. Lots of trash in parking lot and smelled like cigarettes. 1st room we were given had a chirping fire alarm. 2nd room smelled funny. Hotel had a strong odor of marijuana. No materials were provided to clean the machines in workout room.

There were bed bugs, other bugs and ants, the carpet was moist and reeked. When we told the front desk there were bugs they did not act surprised at all. Their reaction was more of 'yeah this is the third time today we've heard that' and they offered to move to another room. This room had ants as well. We will not be staying here again. It seems like this hotel is full of people that live in hotels and are not very clean. If you are in the area for business go to another hotel.

We had better hopes for this stay. The bath fan doesn't work, the installed microwave doesn't work, the carpet is heavily stained, the desk has several spots of laminate chunked out, the dresser has scratches along the entire face, and there are several badly patched holes in the wall in both rooms (some not completed). Honestly, it looks like people were in a fistfight while throwing pots and pans here. I can't understand why this room is being presented to customers. At least the check in desk staff was pleasant and the beds were made. We only spent enough time here to change clothes and sleep, anyway. I took pictures, if anyone cares to see. Topping all that off, the a/c unit emits a smell of stale cigarette smoke every time it runs. This is a non-smoking facility, so that shouldn't even be an issue. The dumpsters out front are my hope someone is planning to renovate this building. We stayed here because of a fantastic stay with the same hotel chain in a different city. The ad pictures online for this location were a bit misleading.

In the first room, the smoke alarm went off when i turned the heat on and there was a strong smell of something burning In the next room, i could not get the AC/Heat to come on at all, even though the display read "On." I did not want to change rooms again, so I opened the window, which worked well enough.

This hotel is out dated and front desk is tertible. They act as if thry just dont care. Just check you in and send you on your way. We had a fire alarm and front desk was clueless and didnt care. Didnt follow any safety protocol. People were still walking in and out if buikding as alarm was goung off. Thry made no attempt to make peopl le stay outside.

It was “okay”. We stay at many Candlewood Suites when we travel. The toilet was loose from the floor. The outside sidewalk just outside the sides of the main entrance were littered with cigarette butts. When trying to check out, could not find anyone after trying for 15 minutes to find a person to sign out.

Hotel is in an industrial park so you have to drive to go to any restaurants. We did have one very disturbing incident. At 0800 someone tried to enter our room. No knock, no announcement. Good thing we had the extra latch. When we called out the door closed. No “sorry” or other acknowledgment. Was it a rude housekeeping associate or someone else. Don’t know but I will be investing in one of those extra hotel security devices for all future hotel stays.

It served its purpose. My husband's Class Reunion was held there so we just got a room for the evening. The hotel seemed to be a little dated. I think it's good for someone that needs something long-term. Staff was very friendly, and the place was clean. I like the Dove products that are offered.
