The hotel has a lovely reception and lounge area that lead out to a well kept patio and lawn. The lounge also serves as the breakfast area. The staff were excellent - very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was quite plain and not particularly big but the bed was a good size and very comfortable. There were facilities to make coffee but paper cups and no tea and no milk, which you had ask for at reception. The parking was limited - 2 small areas with one free to park and the other behind a locked gate, for which you paid €12 a night. Felt like a safe area and easy 20 minute walk into the centre of La Rochelle.

Listed as having a restaurant, it should say dining area and choice of frozen foods which we can microwave for you. Breakfast was ok. Tea and coffee in room had no milk supplied and when enquired were told we could get some out of the vending machine. Rent och fräscht rum Lite krångligt med parkeringen i början men det funkade till slut. Var noga att bekräfta parkeringen med dem. Mycket svårt att få parkera på gatorna Bra frukost. Personal väldigt vänliga trevliga men hade lite svårt med engelska eller hade ingen engelska alls. En bra bit från centrum att gå. Beställde mat som stod på menyn första kvällen men fick fryst mat som varnades upp men med några frysta bitar kvar

Excellent breakfast and very friendly service by all the staff. The hotel lacked any evening facilities, ie bar etc. Only a small vending machine in the lobby area. However good value and a nice location.

All good except parking . No security parking left when we were there and the few spaces outside this but in the grounds where not managed and cars were parked badly. 2 extra cars should have been able to have been parked! Surely there should be in total the number of the rooms?

Chambre correcte, RDC pas de vue. En revanche j'avais choisi cet hôtel pour son restaurant. Il s'avère qu'il n'y en a pas tout comme le bar ! C'est le/la réceptionniste qui fait aussi office de "barman". Quant au restaurant, ce sont des plats surgelés "Picard" qu'on vous réchauffe sur commande. Un peu déçue, je m'attendais à un vrai restaurant. Sinon, le personnel (très restreint) et très sympa.

From start to finish the stay was great. We arrived early on our bikes and they allowed us early access, and we could store the bikes safely. The room was spotlessly clean, super comfy, and whisper quiet. It’s a 10 minute walk to the old town.

Méfiez vous l’hôtel n’est pas en centre-ville contrairement à son nom. Il vous faudra 10/15 minutes pour rejoindre celui-ci à pied. Cloisons fines donc si vos voisins de chambres sont bruyants, vous les entendrez. Il fait chaud dans la chambre donc pensez à mettre la clim…si elle fonctionne (la réception nous ayant précisé que la clim était passée en mode chauffage donc plus de clim).

The room was very comfortable with a range of options for pillow on the bed and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast included a good range of food which was regularly replenished. This is an excellent hotel for anyone driving or cycling to enjoy La Rochelle. Having come in by train however and needing to walk into the town centre the walk was quite long and there were no public transport options.

Cet hôtel est parfait. La literie confortable, les oreillers à mémoire de forme super. La salle de bain très fonctionnelle. Tout semble neuf ou bien refait. Le seul bémol c'est que la fenêtre de notre chambre au rez de chaussé était avec vue intégrale sur les poubelles. Heureusement qu'il ne fait pas encore trop chaud donc nous avons pu nous passer d'ouvrir la fenêtre.

3 stars The room was small and felt a bit cramped. Parking was not free, and the spaces were both limited and very tight, which made it hard to park. The hotel was also hard to find, located in an area with narrow streets that made driving tricky. Not the easiest place to stay, but okay if you don’t mind these challenges

Sehr praktisch zur Stadt gelegen, die man zu Fuß in 15-20 Minuten erreichen kann. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer gut ausgestattet, sauber und nett eingerichtet. Auch der Empfang und der Frühstücksraum waren geschmackvoll eingerichtet, man hat sich gerne dort aufgehalten. Wir kommen gerne wieder, da uns auch La Rochelle sehr gut gefallen hat!

Basic, expensive, poorly kept, food and drink also expensive we asked for some wine 5 min before they closed the desk and they refused as going home in 5min! Location a long way from the town, very disappointed and think we were overcharged.

A ma grande surprise, alors que je n'avais pas quitté ma chambre, celle ci a été donné à un autre client qui est rentré dedans alors que j'y étais. Cela aurais aussi bien pu se produire alors que je n'y étais pas et se terminer en vol. L'hôtel est de plus en travaux ce qui signifie que le petit déjeuner se tient devant une bâche derrière laquelle les ouvriers travaillent, tout en défilant parmi les client avec leurs outils et matériaux... C'est invraisemblable !

A ma grande surprise, alors que je n'avais pas quitté ma chambre, celle ci a été donné à un autre client qui est rentré dedans alors que j'y étais. Cela aurais aussi bien pu se produire alors que je n'y étais pas et se terminer en vol. L'hôtel est de plus en travaux ce qui signifie que le petit déjeuner se tient devant une bâche derrière laquelle les ouvriers travaillent, tout en défilant parmi les client avec leurs outils et matériaux... C'est invraisemblable !

Alors nous arrivons en fin d’après-midi. Un accueil horrible horrible, la personne qui se met à crier comme une folle après nous puis elle part dans les cuisines à pleurer. Un an plus fin on sait même pas pourquoi tout simplement parce que nous voulions les clés des appartements de la chambre, bien sûr que nous avons payé, ensuite elle revient en nous disant qu’elle est handicapée que ça lui arrive. Souvent. Nous n’avons rien compris. Ensuite le lendemain il nous demande de nous présenter à l’accueil après une nuit de sommeil horrible. Nous prenons nos affaires nous allons faire un tour quand nous revenons, nous avez bloqué la carte pour que nous puissions pas rentrer dans l’hôtel, baisser baisser les volets de la chambre pour que nous puissions pas rentrer dans la chambre. Tout OK comme si nous étions des voleurs , alors que tout était payé horrible des travaux partout, nous ont signalé aucun geste commercial a des conseillers horribles

Si vous savez que vous arrivez tard …. FUYEZ cet hôtel L’adresse indiquée sur le site et rentrée dans le GPS vous oblige a terminer le parcours à pieds, lorsque que vous appelez l’hôtel après l’heure d’ouverture pour connaître une adresse annexe pour arriver à l’hôtel en voiture …. Un message vous indique qu’il faut appeler le veilleur de nuit sur un numéro figurant sur le portail de l’hôtel…. Un comble quand on appelle pour trouver l’hôtel… après 5 min de marche je compose le dit numéro qui aboutit à un …. Répondeur automatique… mon salut repose sur un petit interphone au bout duquel une voix féminine peu agréable m’indique une fois un code et un numéro de chambre avant de raccrocher…. Quelle belle prestation pour un 3 étoiles… J’allais oublier le train qui de par sa proximité vous réveille à 6.00…. Fuyez !!!!

The room was very comfortable with a range of options for pillow on the bed and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast included a good range of food which was regularly replenished. This is an excellent hotel for anyone driving or cycling to enjoy La Rochelle. Having come in by train however and needing to walk into the town centre the walk was quite long and there were no public transport options.

A pleasant surprise. A nice clean and quiet room. Very comfortable bed and good shower. Within easy walking distance of the old port. About 15 minutes. Parking was safe and easy.

From start to finish the stay was great. We arrived early on our bikes and they allowed us early access, and we could store the bikes safely. The room was spotlessly clean, super comfy, and whisper quiet. It’s a 10 minute walk to the old town.

Listed as having a restaurant, it should say dining area and choice of frozen foods which we can microwave for you. Breakfast was ok. Tea and coffee in room had no milk supplied and when enquired were told we could get some out of the vending machine. The bar consisted of a few bottles in a fridge in the same vein as the restaurant

Chambre correcte, RDC pas de vue. En revanche j'avais choisi cet hôtel pour son restaurant. Il s'avère qu'il n'y en a pas tout comme le bar ! C'est le/la réceptionniste qui fait aussi office de "barman". Quant au restaurant, ce sont des plats surgelés "Picard" qu'on vous réchauffe sur commande. Un peu déçue, je m'attendais à un vrai restaurant. Sinon, le personnel (très restreint) et très sympa.

The only thing I can complain about is every time we came in the hotel or went for breakfast we were asked our room number. I’m sure it would be easier to wear a coloured bracelet as it got to very annoying
