Four Points by Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Airport - Dania Beach

My stay didn't get off to a great start. I called a couple of weeks in advance to line up the shuttle because my reservation stated I needed to do that. When i called I was told all I needed to do was go to the pickup area and call when I got there. I did that and was told they would be there in 15-20 minutes. So 30 minutes later still not there. I called and they were surprised it wasn't there yet. I ended up waiting 1 hour befire they showed up. I said something to the driver and he said that was on the hotel aa they only pick up on the hour. Not good after a flight. They need to get together. Other than that and it being somewhat dated and the elevators being slow, not busy, it wàs ok. Bed was comfortable and return trip to the airport was good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I gave a 4 rating bause of the parking. There were not enough spaces to accommodate guest. Spaces had to be created by guest.

Clean and affordable, would stay again. Airport shuttle service needs some adjustments as I needed and reserved a 4 am shuttle, but when I came down at 4 am, was told the first shuttle was 5 am. I had a 5:25 am boarding so had to get an Uber.

Repeated calls for airport shuttle not answered and had to take Uber.

The staff is AMAZING! The hotel is clean and comfortable, we had an early flight but the woman setting up the breakfast made us fresh coffee an hour before they were opening. The shuttle is the best hotel shuttle we've ever had, you set it up at a terminal in the lobby they send you an email confirmationand the vans are new, clean and comfortable.

Was disappointed that I was unable to use the printer. OUT OF SERVICE 😔

Had an airport shuttle which was very convenient. Close to cruise port. Room was spacious. It had a fridge. Front desk was great.

Nice, clean but very busy property because of airport off-site parking caused less than adequate parking for overnight guests. Price is excellent for proximity to the airport.

Everything is fine. There is not enough spots available for airport shuttle bus in early morning. So I have to take uber ride to airport.

Very nice staff, that you could understand. The beds were very comfortable, but the pillows sucked. Nice little bar with friendly bartenders, but forget about ordering beer. They only had crap like Stella, Michelob Ultra and Budweiser. They did offer some of the basic liquor, so there were some good mixed drinks available. Several restaurants are within walking distance. Don't count on the shuttle to the airport if you have an early flight. It doesn't start running until 6 and that's pushing it if you flight leaves before 8:30

The room felt dirty. There was a leftover sandwich in the fridge with apple juice and a Red Bull. Loved the blackout shade in the room but the blanket was very thin. We were able to check in early which I appreciate very much.

Rug was dirty, room was dusty and musty

The room could use a good cleaning.

There was a roach in my bathtubs. It was late and I was too tired to complain.

Clean room

Room are old and needs upgrading. Stain on carpet, broken sink plug, old shower curtain, roach in room, old towels. An overall upgrade and cleanliness.

Location is great but the bedsheets has old blood stains and so did the shower curtains, the toilet had old non removable marks that appears disgusting. Everytime you tried calling the front desk from the room phone, it will never work and not once did anyone provide us with towels, we had to find and ask housekeeping ourselves! However the front desk staff were friendly!

Our room cleaniness was questionable. The bathroom shower was nasty . After complaining twice we bought water shoes to shower . Management did absolutely nothing .

The TV in the room would not turn off properly and the backlight stayed on and made sleep every difficult as it lit up the whole room!! We arrived late so just wanted to try and sleep and wasn’t able to call reception for them to try and sort. Ruined the stay as was not able to sleep properly. Told reception on check out but they didn’t seem too interested just that they would get an engineer to check but that doesn’t affect a ruined night sleep.

The website said it was 9 minutes from las olas boulevard this was not true. Loved the black out blinds, the room was completely dark, which allowed me to get much needed rest.

The hotel could use room upgrades.

The location is convenience when you have an early flight other than that it’s too secluded, the bed was good at least but the hotel looks and feels dirty the carpet smells. The bathroom so uncomfortable the door didn’t close properly and opens in touching the toilet 2 people can’t fit in there with the door open and you have to pay for parking per night. Never again I don’t recommend the hotel.

The temperature in the room was warm the entire stay.

It was a nice hotel. My only complaint was that if your room faces the intestate you will be awoken many times throughout the night by loud fast driving south Florida drivers

The room was next to a very noisy ac unit.

The service overall was great! Off the interstate so if you’re placed on the wrong side you’ll hear the cars all night.

Stay was good service was efficient, room was clean and spacious.

Something ask like extra towel and shower gel, never came.

Rooms are nice. Bedding is very comfortable. Front desk people are so professional and courteous! I will definitely stay here again

Staff was extremely helpful with all questions we had. Jessica went out of her way to be helpful.

Tracey at front desk was amazing!

Called the front desk shortly after checking in to request a wake up call. Had that confirmed for 4:15 the following morning. Called back four times some minutes after 9pm....the phone rang unanswered. Though i was up at 4am, the wake up call never came in.

Presca, Luis, & Areah were very attentive and nice. They accommodated me and my family with politeness. We had to switch from La Quinta hotel because of a horrible experience we had the day before and the Four Pointe staff were night and day from the Quinta staff members. I will be returning with family and have been recommending this hotel to everyone that asked me how was my vacation!

Overnight Staff ( front desk ) was very rude and not the least bit helpful! Made this one night stay very unpleasant. Now the morning front desk staff was a totally different story. They were very polite, accommodating, and kind, which is why I gave the hotel three stars, instead of one or two!

There were some staff that would go out of their way to ensure I felt seen and would ask questions like "How you doing?" or "Anything I could help you with?" meanwhile some other staff members looked as if they were irritated by my presence even being there. I had a hold for incidentals which should have deducted any charges to the room for breakfast etc. Unfortunately I was still charged for things charged to the room and though it's been a week and wass told I'd receive the hold released in 3-5 business days I haven't received anything. Tried to complain about the room nothing was done. Called to speak with accounting and was put on a hold twice where one of the calls I was hung up on... called back just to be told with attitude "well it must have been someone else I just got here and you'll be given a call back". Again, a few days now and still waiting... just overall did not enjoy this location's stay.. Hence why I left a day early. I thought after explaining this to someone at front desk at least I'd get a day's partial refund or something. Nope. Yeah.. just not good stay.

I reserved our room months before February 17th, our check in date. I used my ATM card to hold the reservation. In January card got hacked and a new card was issued. I did not think to advise the hotel as payment was due when I checked in. Due to weather issues, our flight was delayed 11 hours. I got a call from the hotel at about 7pm saying my reservation was cancelled because they tried to run my card and it was declined. They canceled my reservation 9 minutes, before they called me. I explained what happened and offered my billing information, but was told there were NO rooms available.The hotel offered to call around, but said I shouldn't get my hopes up. I tried to say that had she called me 9 minutes ago, I would still have a room. She was sorry, but there were no rooms available. A couple of hours later, after trying to get a cot in a relatives room, I was notified that a room had been " found" and we would have a room after all.. The hotels actions added a great deal of stress to an already stressful day. We had a cruise the next day and waited at the airport 11 hours trying to get to Florida. There were no available flights that day or night at Logan or any surrounding airports that would allow us to make the cruise. All's well that ends well, but to cancel my reservation, before contacting me is a "3" for servce. The staff I interfaced with were totally a "5"

Close to airport but along busy highway. Great place to sleep before a flight but not a nice area to go for walk

Lots of shopping and food within walking distance but the other side of the highway would be better.

Right next to major freeway. Constant loud traffic noise. Entry/exit hard to transit.

The hotel is a short drive to Dania Point shopping plaza which includes several dining options; Cooper's Hawk Wine Bar and Restaurant was fabulously! The hotel is also close to Fort Lauderdale airport.

The room was nice although the bathroom was tiny. The website led me to believe the breakfast was an amenity included in the stay which it is not. Breakfast is $15 per person. Standard eggs, cereal, yogurt. Coffee is very good though. There is a bistro bar restaurant but food was terrible and there was only 1 guy (who deserves a medal) tending bar, waiting tables and serving. He was amazing. Never stopped moving but still, food not worth the price. Very disappointing.

I wish breakfast wasn’t $15 for the most basic and not even warm breakfast :(

Restaurant offered few dinner choices and they had no wine. Completely out of wine. Hum?

I come here every year day before my Cruise because they are efficient, clean establishment and rooms, great service, friendly employees. Great breakfast & Great Burgers.

Food at dinner and buffet is sub par considering the price you pay for it. The instructions on how to pay for the breakfast buffet and lining up etc are very poorly managed. Other wise it was a nice stay.

The lady who checked us in was very friendly and answered all our questions and showed us how to access transportation to the port. We bought a sandwich from the Pantry and turns out it was frozen and not easy to microwave properly. Buffet breakfast was very good.
