Easy check in and check out. Host was easy to work with. Town was so cute where the house was located.

I love historic homes and this cottage was so quaint and charming. It checks all the boxes for a New England coastal getaway. Situated between Boston and Salem it was the perfect location for our group. It was easy to find a parking spot on the neighboring street. Instructions to get into the property were clear. Thank you for renting your beautiful home.

We came out for a girls trip and we had the best stay! Marblehead is beautiful and the home was perfect! Easy to communicate with, lots of local restaurants and shops down the street, and so much history! We will be back!

Let me start by saying I rented this back in April at which time I thought it was a beautiful little cottage and we would be great with it then in August I broke my shoulder and had to have surgery, but I still do not think it was gonna be a problem because it looked like it was a nice place I think you should put a disclaimer on this cottage. That is not good for the disabled the elderly or people with small children, the stairway itself is a death trap. Someone is going to fall down there and hurt themselves. The steps are too small and there is only one handrail which caused the great difficulties that he got them down The hallway going to the bathroom and the three bedrooms is sloped down toward the stairs so if you have slippery socks on and you round a corner zoom you fall down the stairs it was clean and a convenient location. I will say it neglected the necessities of Home such as towels to take showers with. We were given one towel per person for the entire four nights stay . they were not extra blankets. It did get rather cold up there. There was not enough linen if you wanted to pull out one of the trundle beds to use it so that you had a larger space the bed in the extra room that I believe they call a cuddle area to watch TV squeaked every time you moved on it so if you are restless, sleeper everyone else in the house heard squeak, squeak, squeak lI realize it was supposed to be a pioneer kind of cottage, but I don’t believe the early settlers built it.

House was smaller than pictures showed. Although very historic was a tight squeeze for5 girls. When we got there, one AC unit wasn’t working but owner was great and had it fixed the next day. However parking was extremely hard. No parking near the house had to either go a block away or further so keep that in mind for when you book.
