Cozy place to stay, warmly greeted by the staff always. Staff genuinely cared for our wellbeing. When we returned from a road trip at night, they escorted us to park the car in their garage to keep it safe overnight. Breakfast was simple, unpretentious but delicious and made to order. Room was very spacious for 2 people, comfortable. Has different international plugs to use our electronics.

Nice boutique hotel. Conveniently located with spacious rooms and friendly staff. Only downside is lack of a lift although staff are happy to help haul bags up and down the stairs.

Michel made us feel so welcome to Cape Town and his passion for this area was infectious. We took him up on many of his suggestions. Lovely friendly staff and day and night security systems means you feel safe. So many great places to eat very close by and just at the edge of Bo Kaap but only a 25 minute walk to the V&A waterfront. We hope to return!

Wonderful boutique hotel. We stayed four nights before taking a cruise out of Cape Town in December. They arranged for a shuttle from the airport which was very reasonably priced. The owner, all the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast, included, was a treat every morning. We cannot say enough good things about Rouge on Rose.

This was one of best Hotels we have ever used. Breakfast was amazing….lovely choices and our Hosts were fantastic.. although dealing with some power outages. They were installing back up power supply when we were there. A fabulous boutique Hotel you will not be disappointed, wish we had a longer visit. Until next time, would choose this Hotel in a heartbeat

Lovely stay with very friendly and helpful owners and staff, who went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Our room was fantastic with a very comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Very clean, good air conditioning and all the facilities required. Good location in the centre with good access to Uber. Excellent restaurants nearby. We highly recommend for a visit to Cape Town.

Awesome stay, well appointed rooms. Lots of space, quiet in the streets and no noise transfer from adjacent suites. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our stay include a complementary breakfast. One thing that stood out over and above was just how clean the room was. Every single corner and surface was spotless. Very close to lots of activities, never had a concern about safety and we walked around often day and night (M32, F27). Great stay, great value.

Wonderful little gem on the border to Bo Kap and in short walking distance to restaurants and bars on Bree street. Walking to waterfront area is 15-20 minutes. The nine rooms are spacious with both a shower cubicle and an open tub. Breakfast is superb and you can get all the guidance you need on where to go or not. We stayed five nights and would have loved to stay longer.

I travel the world, and have been staying in hotels for 10+ years. Rouge on Rose in Cape Town is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Michel, Obed and the team were masterful in their service, information and support. I had early mornings, late night, and needed advice on the area - and EVERYTHING I asked for was catered for. I'm actually thinking of coming back just to see what else I could ask to see if they would achieve it - and I am confident in their knowledge and care that they will exceed expectations even then. Cannot recommend this gem of a hotel enough. Breakfast was fantastic, and everything was done with a smile. Would recommend for solo, couples or groups.

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. We arrived early in the morning, well before the stated check-in time. The gladly stored our luggage and delivered it to the room while we explored the city. They made good recommendations about where to eat and what to do. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. I would gladly stay there again.

The staff and manager were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We felt very welcome and it was a pleasure to stay there. We would recommend the area as it is away from the commercialisation of the waterfront and you were interacting with the real people of Capetown. A great experience.

This is the only hotel I will stay at in Cape Town from now on. Michel is incredible, as are Chris and Ben. The hotel is located in a fantastic and fun area, the rooms are great, and the breakfast is wonderful. I loved everything about it!

My experience at Rouge on Rose lived up to the reviews I had read before I booked it. The staff was very helpful, Jean, Michel and Chris were all great! Breakfast was excellent. My room was clean, and comfortable, and the one minor issue I had was solved quickly. You may want to avoid walking by yourself at night in Bo-Kapp.

This is a beautiful property in the heart of BoKaap, perfect location to walk to Long Street, Company's Garden and the colorful streets of BoKaap. The employees here, from the owner to the dining room server were so kind and helpful. We would love to return to Capetown and Rouge on Rose one day.

We can see why this boutique hotel is so highly rated. Cannot say enough about the service, comfort and wonderful breakfast. Easy walk to hop on hop off bus and restaurants. It is small but very personal.
