Beautiful views for the waterfront 2 bedroom suite. Large rooms, good stone materials but the layout was clumsy. The AC unit was in the living room, but there were no air vents in the master bedroom. The master bedroom had a sink in the middle of the room off to the side, which made entry to the separate shower and separate toilet, awkward. These rooms used to have a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave and stove top. Now just a small refrigerator and tea kettle.

Great to see some room renovations at The Sands. However, the new walk-in shower in 20 has nowhere to put the shampoo, conditioner or body wash dispensers in practical reach. On top of it, the cheap plastic shower rose is already leaking, spraying water everywhere. With thin bedroom walls, the snorer next door made this overnight stay unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.

Really beautiful setting and we had a lovely big room with a great view. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help if needed. Breakfast quality was just ok - didn’t match dinner, which was excellent.
