Staff were friendly and helpful, great breakfast and a family room with a view of the sea which was ready and spotless when we checked in. Use of the indoor swimming pool and spa just round the corner was perfect when the weather wasnt great. Lounge and Bar are very comfortable with a great selection of drinks and even happy hour 2 for 1 coctails! Great hotel in a great location with fantastic rooms and views.

Excellent hotel, in a fantastic location. Breakfast was gorgeous, and filled us all up for the day,big advantage was having use of the pool,at the holiday park next-door which was absolutely spotlessly clean,large pool,jacuzzi, steam room and sauna will definitely be back

The check-in and check-out was easy, the hotel staff were friendly, the room had a nice en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, the breakfast choice was good and hot food of good quality, the hotel provided free parking and it was nicely situated.

Great location on sea front ... Ask for sea view if available The property is being expanded , we stayed in what felt like a recently re-furbished room. Very clean, new paint work, carpets etc. Good size and a couple of chairs included . walls are a bit thin so noise could be a problem .. luckily we had "quiet neighbours". The staff were all very cheerful and helpful. Excellent reasonably priced on site bar. Good quality breakfast with a willingness to vary/customise the menu option to suit your individual needs. Be aware no toiletries included in the offering (towels yes, shampoo,soap not)Parking is a bit tight as the building continues ..should settle down soon. Summary.. Enjoyed it would stay there again !

The hotel has had a refurbishment recently and the rooms are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Enjoyed 2 for 1 cocktails in the lounge with a wonderful view. Easy walk to Seahouses harbour. Bamburgh Castle is walkable or a short drive. Breakfast superb with great choices.

A nice hotel in a good position overlooking the sea and Farne Islands. Maximum 10 mins walk to harbour. Breakfast and dinner very good. The patio door rooms are nice to sit out at, but there is no window in the room to open at night if you like fresh air. There is a fan in the room. Nice bar area. You access to the Ocean club spa 5 mins walk away which is very pleasant. Plenty of car parking. Some of the communal area carpets need cleaning especially at the bottom of the stairs. They don't do tinned tomatoes for breakfast. You get bottled water and biscuits on the first night only. We would stop there again.

Spotlessly clean throughout and clearly recently refurbished. Polite and friendly staff. Superb location with great sea views, plenty of guest parking and a lovely easy seafront walk into Seahouses centre. Comfortable bar/lounge area. Restaurant food in the evening excellent and the breakfast selection is extensive with something for everyone.

Room was lovely and clean. The bar staff and the young lady on reception were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was not good. Waited over 10 minutes for a cup of coffee. There was smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on offer as well as eggs Benedict. I’m not a lover of too much ham and asked if I could swap the ham with smoked salmon. I was told that “chef is too temperamental” Ordered the Benedict and was very disappointed as muffin was not toasted and eggs were quite hard.

Overall our short stay was good. Pity about reception when we arrived, not really a personable/pleasing time as I felt we were an interruption rather than new guests. Room was newly refurbished in modern decor, large,clean and comfortable but not serviced , bin not emptied and tea/coffee not replenished. Felt better when talked to staff next day as you are all doing one job but also covering for others. Breakfast was lovely, views to Farne Islands were exceptional. Once refurbishment is complete I would return to a better organised establishment.

Was a lovley room kettle was scaled up and shower head was dirty. Got a replacement kettle which was still scaled up. Breakfast was good but dinner was pricey and hit and miss. Use of the ocean club was a lovely bonus

Having paid £220/night for 2 people I expected something better. The family room didn't have a window to the outside world, apart from a skylight above, so little natural light and a big negative for me. No luggage rack, no sheets/duvet for the sofabed, no shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries, or toilet brush for that matter. Shower was a fine line between cold and scalding hot. People were friendly enough but overall I was disappointed. A Premier Inn would have been better. Our room didn't look like the pictures so maybe it was the room, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Lovely location and near to the amenities. Staff helpful and friendly. Room 9 , we got was way too hot only with a skylight you couldn’t open and air con machine too noisy to leave on all night. Would go back but in a different room.

Lovely hotel with great breakfast. Friendly staff at reception and in restaurant. Loses a point for the tiny room above the kitchen extractor fan and dripping shower! Didn't report it to be fair as only there for 2 nights and mostly outdoors. Recommend the Indian night in restaurant on Thursdays. Great value.

The service from the main desk. Room 18 is directly over the kitchen with 2 noisy extractor fans operating until 21-30. Request to change rooms refused. Rest of staff were fine. Very disappointed went home early, also told no refund for unused night.

Nice hotel in a great location right on the coast. The bar and restaurant areas are nice and the breakfast was good, with a good selection of cold and hot food. Staff were friendly and helpful. The reason I didn't score it higher was down to the room we were in - it was right next to reception and the banging and squeeking of the door to reception when trying to sleep was very annoying. Our room was a family room but some elements weren't set up for 4 people, like only two mugs and two teabags on arrival and two bottles of water. The room also faced a wall so was very dark. I think if you are in an upstairs room then this would be a great hotel to stay in but I wouldn't want to stay in the room we had again.

A nice beachfront hotel. Room No.5 is a little small and the air conditioning unit under the window is very annoying constantly switching on and off! The staff are very friendly and the breakfast nice and cooked to order.

We were allocated room 3, allegedly a classic double. It was however exceptionally small. There was a shelf, which I suppose doubled as the desk. When I sat on the chair to work, or dry my hair then the room was so small that my husband was unable to get to the bathroom without me having to move. There were no coat hooks in the room, no drawers and only 4 coat hangers in the space to hang clothes. The 2nd issue was that on the first morning we went down to breakfast to be told that due to a power cut the kitchen was out of action. We were told that we could have our breakfast at their sister hotel Beadnell Towers. This was 2 and a half miles away. We felt we had no choice to agree. By the time we got there, had our breakfast and returned to the hotel the whole thing took the best part of 2 hours. When we came to check out and I enquired about some sort of recompense given the situation I was told that there wouldn't be a refund, that none of the other guests had complained, and as we had booked through a 3rd party there was nothing she could do.

Checking in wasn’t the best experience. We arrived slightly earlier and advised room wasn’t ready and advised to sit in the bar and lounge and we would be notified when room available. Check in was 3.00pm. By 3.30pm we started to feel a bit frustrated as we had travelled some good hours and we wanted to get changed to make our journey to Holy Island before the causeway flood. We had made a booking there. It turns out we had more or less been forgotten for the check in and it was only when we approached reception that we got this sorted. It just didn’t feel very welcoming and we didn’t feel valued as a guest. Also when we went to bed all we could hear up to midnight was a noise that sounded like a laundry dryer working which kept us both awake!

This was my second time using this property and whilst the first time was excellent this time wasn’t as good. The main problem was that we were ignored at breakfast and when we did get there attention and ordered they forgot to bring it to us.Also the toilet wouldn’t flush, the basin tap was loose on arrival and it took 2 days to get sorted.

They said this is what Expedia do but they were really great and managed to get another room for us but we had to pay another £50 in future will book with the hotel.

The check-in and check-out was easy, the hotel staff were friendly, the room had a nice en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, the breakfast choice was good and hot food of good quality, the hotel provided free parking and it was nicely situated.

The room No 9 was exceptionally noisy from the fire door outside in corridor, reception staff not interested when it was brought to their attention. Bar and restaurant were heaving in the evening.. the place was overwhelmed with too many non residents and too many dogs.

We thoroughly recommend this hotel. The location is superb the rooms are comfortable and decorated to a high standard.All the staff are friendly and helpful. The meals are superb and the views from the dining room and lounge and bar are outstanding. We will definitely be returning.

The hotel was in a good area, we enjoyed making the most of the spa option by going to the ocean club. Room was lovely and check in, breakfast staff and bar staff were great. Not going for 5 stars for couple of reasons. Firstly, the evening meal wasn’t great. Only one vegetarian option, no specials (as stated on menu) & no-one checked if food was okay when eating and when taking plates away (even though half the main was left). Then on check out, the bill had extra service charges added for bar and food but they come up as the same as the food/drinks in terms of appearance on the bill (so unless you look carefully you’d presume it’s part of what you had). I’m all for tipping good service, it just felt like a very underhand way of doing it.

We stopped off for our mini moon with our dog Angus - the staff were outstanding from the second they spotted us. Super dog friendly, super welcoming - greeted us with a glass of bubbly to congratulate us - offered to look after Angus one night so we could have a romantic dinner to ourselves - And went above and beyond in every way. Shout out to Zara and Dan the man ;) Angus misses them already and we hope to be back one day :)

As with any hotel, the start and finish of the visit, could with some bits I between, the staff masjid the sufficient difference. I would like to say how 5*the staff at Beach House are. The cleaning staff, the waiting staff and the reception staff were all superb. Very welcoming, happy and attentive to a man(or woman), we enjoyed every interaction. The hotel is well appointed, tidy and comfortable with just one minor issue in that it was a little too warm for us at night. Otherwise i would have given 5* across the board

We had a fantastic stay at the Beach House Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, plenty of options. We had an evening meal here which I would recommend, it was really nice. Location is ideal, you can walk to Seahouses centre / harbour - no stress of trying to get parked in the centre.

A nice hotel in a good position overlooking the sea and Farne Islands. Maximum 10 mins walk to harbour. Breakfast and dinner very good. The patio door rooms are nice to sit out at, but there is no window in the room to open at night if you like fresh air. There is a fan in the room. Nice bar area. You access to the Ocean club spa 5 mins walk away which is very pleasant. Plenty of car parking. Some of the communal area carpets need cleaning especially at the bottom of the stairs. They don't do tinned tomatoes for breakfast. You get bottled water and biscuits on the first night only. We would stop there again.

Beach House Hotel is in a great location a few minutes walk from the town of Seahouses. It has recently been refurbished although we did have a small problem with our shower dripping throughout the second night. Spa is not onsite but it is worth taking the five minute walk to the Ocean Club as the facilities are very good there.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Extremely warm welcome at Reception and made our dog feel very welcome by having treats at the reception. The room was very modern and comfortable, great bed and shower. Again your dog was catered for with a welcome bag dog treats and dog poo bags. The bar area was dog friendly and the staff were actively pleased to welcome your dog. The food was amazing, we had dinner and breakfast and both were served quickly and by friendly staff. Overall a fantastic stay and we will be back.

The hotel is beautiful, location and a great spa experience close by. Really disappointed with lack of vegan options and I usually love a hotel breakfast. I left hungry, after a minuscule hot breakfast portion. My vegan request hadn’t been noted and I had to ask for soya milk, and given 2 small jugs. It was more of a what can I eat here? than great choices. I rarely complain, but hope this can be better for other travellers who are plant based and want some healthier protein options I.E., Soya yoghurts and maybe some berries to go with… I noted this at reception and a verbal apology given. I would not recommend.

Gorgeous hotel - really clean and modern. Room was comfortable and had a great sea view. Staff were all lovely too. The only thing that let the stay down was breakfast - which took 40 minutes to arrive and was partly undercooked and mostly cold. However we also ate at the restaurant for dinner and then the food and the service were both excellent.

Room was lovely and clean. The bar staff and the young lady on reception were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was not good. Waited over 10 minutes for a cup of coffee. There was smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on offer as well as eggs Benedict. I’m not a lover of too much ham and asked if I could swap the ham with smoked salmon. I was told that “chef is too temperamental” Ordered the Benedict and was very disappointed as muffin was not toasted and eggs were quite hard.

Good selection of cereals, fruit and pastries however a lot of flies around so food could have been covered by a mesh or something, cooked breakfast was large and piping hot and good quality. Overall a lovely place to stay and if in the area would definitely stay again.

Exceptional hotel with exceptional service. Cannot fault anything. Had a very comfortable stay. Very comfortable, very clean, food is really nice as I had the breakfast which was delicious. Decor is really stylish as the hotel is newly decorated. Staff cannot do enough for you.

We have just stayed at this hotel and we are definitely coming back next year, we had such a warm welcome and a wonderful stay. The location is fantastic and there's plenty of free parking and the food was absolutely delicious. Our two dogs were shown so much love and affection and we can't say enough nice things about all the staff. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, the weather wasn't the best but the hotel definitely made up for it and we will be back next year hopefully with warmer weather. ☺️❤️
