A cute little hotel is a small charming town. There is a parking area right in front of the hotel. So this is very convenient because most likely you will need to take a car to explore to the Cotswold area.

Really nice ,traditional building with lots of quirky areas to sit, eat and drink. Nice area to sit outside the front of the hotel, there was an area at the back but looked like renovations/repairs were going on and was a bit untidy. Our room was ok but we were a bit disappointed - we knew it was going to be small but it was very dark and we were looking out to tiles on a roof ! Well presented ,ok for 1 night and the bed was very comfy. We had an evening meal in one of their restaurants and were very impressed with the quality, choice and price - would thoroughly recommend and the staff were very attentive. No parking on site but ample room on the square outside the front door which was free or there was another free car park up the road.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very good value and the quality of the Mel was very good. The facilities within the room by way of bottled water, tea and coffee were very good and well set out. The water pressure for the shower was good and the bathroom large.

Unfortunately I could not park in the car park adjacent to the hotel due to a Christmas market but I found a parking spot which was only a 5 minute walk. The staff the bar area and the food really made this such a lovely experience. My waitress was so attentive. My room was so warm and welcoming, this place has so much history and it shows abundance with the fixtures and fittings. When I arrived for breakfast there was a fire already burning such a relaxed environment. The £15 breakfast wow what value for money, set me up for the day. I loved my stay so much I will definitely be returning for a few nights, this hotel has everything friendly helpful staff, great food,great rooms

The room was musty, had a bad smell, carpets and bathroom floors dirty. All the tables in the restaurant had a reserve sign despite being late and empty. Bartender unfriendly. Disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend.

Food and service was really nice. Stayed in room 9 would avoid due to lack of privacy. Toilet window opens out into the bin store. Heavy duty light in bedroom low hanging kept hitting head as at bottom of bed en route to toilet. My wife would not like theres no seating at a vanity mirror.

A lovely hotel. Room was above the restaurant and bar, but this was not an issue. The room itself was beautiful and rustic, but a little quirky. The bed was confortable and the shower was clean and very servicable. There is quite a bit of audible street noise from early in the morning (the hotel is right on the village/town square). It didn't bother me but might be an issue for really light sleepers. Overall, an extremely pleasant stay and very good value for money.

A quaint hotel. It was very quiet, not sure if that was because of the bank holiday. The pub and restaurant were great and check in was quick and friendly. The room was very small and unfortunately, our view was the dumpster for the kitchen. We met a few locals while having a pint. Overall a great place!

The room and en-suite bathroom were very good, considering the vintage of the property; they were large enough and adequately clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I only used the TV a couple of times but the reception was extremely poor, rendering viewing difficult and unsatisfactory - this should be fixed. Breakfast is good, but the necessity to pre-order the evening before is not guest-friendly, as it is a pain to have to remember to place the order and book a time.

Overall we were pleased with our two night stay in this characterful old coaching inn. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Our room was very spacious but there was very little storage space e.g. no drawers just six hangers on a rail so for longer stays that might be an inconvenience. The shower in the bathroom was excellent but again there was nowhere to put toiletries except a very small glass shelf. Also there was no shaver point for charging toothbrushes or shavers. We did find it unusual that the tv was placed directly over the sofa so we couldn’t sit on the sofa and watch tv.😊

Get the Junior suite. They were great although a little quirky. However....it is a very old building and that "old feel" is to be expected. We stayed three nights and the food and service was fantastic!

the hotel was a lovely place to stay and eat. the service was good too. However Room 2 has a heavy wooden chandelier that i banged my head and nose on. yes its that low. i ordered a king size bed this is a double.

I had a pleasant first night at The Bull and a lovely breakfast. However the second night I stayed it rained heavily all night. The guttering opposite my room was blocked with moss as well as the roofing about being damaged resulting in the very loud sound similar to a running tap. I got very little sleep ahead of an exam followed by a 7 hour drive home. Having passed the info and pictures on I was told sorry and will pass onto the manager. Had thought there may be a need for some compensation since the main part of a hotel room is a sound sleep, especially ahead of an important day. I had mentioned to them i would hope to stay again when returning to the area but now not sure I will.

Bar timing was not kept. First night we got food was still being served after 2200, second night told food stopped at 2100. Tried to order food at 2025 told by bar staff ok 5 minutes later he told us they had stopped serving food. Then the bar closed at 2200, and not 2300 like we were told by the front desk.

Fantastic place to stay for a staycation with family visiting from overseas. Rooms are beautifully appointed and a great location both in Fairford village and in the Cotswolds to base ourselves out of. Staff went above and beyond to be helpful, nothing was too hard and were friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back. A hidden gem!

The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough .. we arrived 5 hours early but they managed to get us checked in early with no fuss .. provided local knowledge and a quick tour of the hotel .. attentive at every question throughout the stay nothing was too much trouble .. handy location less busy to get around to other towns and villages .. highly recommend and have already spoke to work colleagues for them to go

Great check in and out, lovely food for dinner and breakfast , definitely recommend Only one thing Rm 17 maybe clean the shelf that runs round the bathroom as clearly hasn’t been done and a tray for the hand soap will stop issues further Other than this the room was clean, bed was awesome

This was the worst hotel we stayed among 9 hotels in this area. We chose because of reviews. Coffee machine was not clean. Cheap shampoo and soap. Smelly room. Next door is laundry room. Few choices of food. Difficult access from major roads. Soft bed. So on. I stayed a sweet, but experienced poor quality motel.

A lovely warm welcome to the Bull and the room was beautiful. Very comfy bed and nice shower. The pub is really quirky and a great conversion. Location is perfect with parking outside and flat walks round the town.

A cute little hotel is a small charming town. There is a parking area right in front of the hotel. So this is very convenient because most likely you will need to take a car to explore to the Cotswold area.

Just had a lovely 2 nights at the bull very quirky loved it staff great breakfasts were good and a great location for our paddle boarding and kayaking at the cotswolds water park all in all cracking weekend 👍

Fantastic place to stay for a staycation with family visiting from overseas. Rooms are beautifully appointed and a great location both in Fairford village and in the Cotswolds to base ourselves out of. Staff went above and beyond to be helpful, nothing was too hard and were friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back. A hidden gem!

An olde world hotel with sloping floors, pleasant decor, comfortable bed, nice shower room, good restaurant, great location in town, which means you get some noise from early deliveries to the shops opposite. A great location for the Cotswolds.

Hotel is in a great central location for Fairford and the pub itself is very much in keeping with the period style it was built. Being in the market place, if you have a front facing room do expect some early morning noise from deliveries to the co-op and other shops. It’s not the fault of the hotel but might help you consider a rear facing room if you’re a light sleeper. The room is comfortable and our towels were swapped for the second day. Cups weren’t washed up but that’s a minor niggle and I’m old enough to wash up myself! The one thing that always aggrieves me in any hotel ( granted some people don’t mind) is the fact you have to order your breakfast the night before. Here they have a good selection but as with any establishment that offers this type of service, it’s very much hit n miss if you actually want what you order when you actually get there the next morning. I hate to waste food so I think for me there needs to be a workaround if I change my mind.

Bar timing was not kept. First night we got food was still being served after 2200, second night told food stopped at 2100. Tried to order food at 2025 told by bar staff ok 5 minutes later he told us they had stopped serving food. Then the bar closed at 2200, and not 2300 like we were told by the front desk.

Enjoyed our stay here but not quite as nice as it’s portrayed in its pictures. The staff were lovely and friendly and the burger was delicious for dinner. The breakfast room and breakfast items definitely not worth £15 per person!

Get the Junior suite. They were great although a little quirky. However....it is a very old building and that "old feel" is to be expected. We stayed three nights and the food and service was fantastic!

Loved our stay! Booked a Junior Suite and it didn't disappoint. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was really comfortable! Found the staff lovely too. Booked a table for 4 for the Saturday evening and the food was lovely. We had a full English breakfast the Sunday morning and it was ok but felt it was a little overpriced at £15 per head for what we got, apart from that ***** 5 stars!

Brilliant stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room- junior suite. Was great, rustic as you’d expect from an old building. Lots of charm but brilliantly styled and decorated but keeping the traditional craftsmanship of the beams and braces. Very nice en-suite. Food in the restaurant in the evening was great. Lots of flavour and well cooked. Breakfast, again great. Good selection of cereal/pastries etc. full English was 5 star. Would stay again.
