Stayed 1 night

I stayed here a few weeks ago and I as disappointed that the room was dusty as though it hadn’t been used for a while, it was close to a work venue so I thought I’d give it another try, I booked a double, got to the room and it was a single bed. There was hair in the bath, dried splash marks at the back of the sink and the soap dispensers were dirty. I’d like a refund as I didn’t get what I booked and paid for.

Nicely spacious room and quiet with a bath and shower over. A good place to stay for visiting Garsington opera festival or cricket at Wormsley. The hotel’s breakfast room by the end of service was a bit run down and uninspiring. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Rather tired property. Understaffed. On checking at 3pm there seems to be only one member of staff covering reception and the bar. We asked for some tea with cake or biscuits, and we were told we could only have tea because afternoon tea had to be booked 24hrs in advance. We were hoping to have atleast biscuits or cake but there were none. We were told that the chef leaves at 3pm. The hotel is isolated and there is no where nearer to get anything. We were group of 8 stayed at the hotel and were disappointed. No water bottle in the room either. Hotel is expensive for what you get.

Although the location was very pleasant and room sizes were generous, the facilities and service was less desirable.
