Das Hotel sieht unten in der Lobby, Restaurant und Rezeption sauber, ordentlich und stylisch aus aber der Rest vom Hotel, die Zimmer, die Flure, Balkon, Fitness Center wurden schon seit Jahren nicht erneuert/ renoviert, alles sieht immer noch wie vor 10 Jahren aus…Ich war jetzt schon das 4x da und es wird leider immer schlimmer…aber das Essen und der Service ist super und die Gegend sowieso, bin quasi dort groß geworden…leider macht alles auf der Promenade zu das ist sehr schade und traurig

Very nice facility. We had a newly remodeled room that was excellent. Good selection of food and beverage at the cafe with friendly staff. Great location to stay if you need to spend a night befor departing from the cruise port at Ijmuijen. Hotel staff extremely helpful!

This was a great stay with family. They had a big kiss playroom with games and toys when it was raining, they let us book a private family session in the sauna which was great and the breakfast was lovely. The staff were very friendly. Thank you!

We booked this hotel for the proximity to the Felison Cruise terminal. The hotel was perfect for our needs. Easy check in, spacious and clean room, great view, mini fridge worked, kettled worked, safe worked, separate room for toilet and one for the shower. We didn’t use the gym and the sauna room was locked. We assume it was not working. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel for dinner one night. The meals were very good and not overpriced. Service was excellent but a little slow at first. The staff were all great and spoke English very well. There are several restaurants located within steps of the hotel plus a little corner store that sold drinks, snacks, yogurt, hummus, cheeses, some baked goods, etc. There was enough there for us to have a quasi supper the night we arrived. We also bought fruit, etc there for breakfast before walking over to the cruise port. The beach was also two minutes away and went on for miles. We will definitely stay here again if a future cruise leaves from IJmuiden.

Es war ok. Roomservice muss man extra buchen. Parkplatz kostet 14€/Nacht. Wir hatten noch ein altes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Hafen- aber der Preis viel zu teuer. Alles nur mit dem Auto erreichbar und für uns den Preis nicht wert, obwohl es in der Umgebung mit das preiswertestes war. Frühstück war gut.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr ruhig. Die Umgebung ist leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen und man könnte aus der Landschaft um das Hotel herum noch viel mehr draus machen. Der Reinigungsservice für die Hotelzimmer muss dringend verbessert werden, denn auf einfache Wünsche wie bitte den Fußboden fegen, zusätzlich ein Handtuch hinterlegen, oder das Bett nur frisch machen, hat garnicht funktioniert. Dies gehört für mich normalerweise als Standard Service dazu, ohne dies extra anmerken zu müssen. Die Parkplatzgebühren sind einfach viel zu teuer. Alles zusammen war es dann leider nur ein mittelmäßiges Hotel Erlebnis.

Leonardo hotel is a typical seaside hotel. The lobby is nice and the staff friendly. The rooms are a bit tired and could be cleaner. My ice bucket was dirty and the floor was sandy, clearly not properly cleaned before our arrival. We also did not get daily housekeeping, which is ok, but should have been advised at booking, or from the front desk at checkin. Not much around the area, and no places to eat unless you take transportation to another area. I probably won’t stay here again.

Zimmer okay, Fernseher hing sehr schief an der Wand, altes/ dreckiges Handtuch lag noch im Schrank. Haustiere erlaubt, aber im Gegensatz zu anderen Gästen wurde uns weder eine Wasserschüssel noch eine Decke angeboten. Online Check In hat nicht funktioniert, müssten vor Ort noch einen Betrag zahlen, die damle an der Rezeption reagierte nicht sehr freundlich und hatte auch keine Lust sich darum zu kümmern, warum in der App ein anderer Betrag stand. Sauna wird nicht täglich gereinigt (Haare vom Vortag lagen da noch rum). Service und Speisenqualität von dem Restaurant im Hotel AUSBAUFÄHIG, Service war teilweise leider sehr schlecht und dafür sind die Preise viel zu hoch. Cocktailkarte wurde im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr deutlich reduziert. Uns gefällt an dem Hotel eigentlich nur die Lage zum Strand für unseren Hund.

Hotellet virker slidt, og rengøringen er ikke god. Der lå et tykt lag støv på airconditionen og støv i vindueskarmen. På badeværelset var der rester af spildt sæbe fra de forrige gæster, og håndklæderne var hængt op, så det lignede at de var brugt. Vinduerne ligner, at de ikke er blevet pudset i flere måneder, og altanen kunne godt trænge til at få fjernet de grønne aflejringer. Spiste på restauranten den første aften, burgeren var rigtig god, men fisken var stegt alt for længe, så den smagte brændt. Der var kun en elevator, da den ene var i stykker. Elevatoren skulle deles med personalet og med et fuldt ud booket hotel, så er en elevator til gæster og personale for lidt. Specielt fordi elevatoren var meget langsom. Kunne nemt vente på den i 5 minutter, og da jeg er dårligt gående, var elevatoren nødvendig. Restauranten er ikke specielt handikapvenlig, der er flere trappetrin, som man skal op og ned ad, hvis man vil have juice, yoghurt, frugt mm. Til gengæld er personalet i receptionen og restauranten rigtig venlig og imødekommende. Udsigten var også rimelig god, værelset vendte ind mod lystbådehavnen, hvilket vi var rigtig glade for. Det er dog ret ærgerligt, at hotellet er placeret iblandt så meget industri.

Slechts één nacht geboekt, maar het Leonardo is ons prima bevallen! Keurige kamer, prima bedden en een nette schone badkamer. Mooi uitzicht op de Seaport Marina, met ‘s avonds ondergaande zon vanaf het balkon. ‘s Ochtends prima ontbijt. Gaan we zeker vaker doen!

Great location for the Dutch Grand Prix. Place was tranquil and quite and well connected with publuc transport. The rooms are dated, service and front desk very good. Nice and tasty breakfast.

Surprisingly comfortable beds, spacious rooms with small refrigerator. Balcony great, however needs a good clean up and better chairs (difficult with all the birds around all the time of course, but still.. could use a pratical touch up to make a huge difference). Parking is close, beach fabulous - all together a good, simple place to stay.

Leider aus unserer Sicht ein ziemlicher Reinfall. Bei der Zimmerauswahl ist auf den Bildern immer ein Balkon mit zusehen. Wir hatten aber eines ohne Balkon auf der Rückseite des Hotels bekommen :-( Den Müll des vorherigen Gastes konnten wir im Badezimmer dann auch noch vorfinden. Wir bemängelten dieses und uns würde versprochen das der Müll entsorgt würde (was dann auch geschah), als Entschädigung überreichte man uns eine Getränkefreikarte mit der Aufschrift "heute sind sie unser Gast" (für zwei Personen). Als wir dann Abends den Gutschein an der Bar einlösen wollten und wir uns zwei Cocktails ausgesucht hatten, wurde uns erklärt das dieser Gutschein lediglich für günstigere Getränke z.B. Bier oder Cola gelte. Für unseren Geschmack einfach nur arm wenn man bedenkt das das Zimmer 230€ pro Nacht gekostet hat.
Leider aus unserer Sicht ein ziemlicher Reinfall. Bei der Zimmerauswahl ist auf den Bildern immer ein Balkon mit zusehen. Wir hatten aber eines ohne Balkon auf der Rückseite des Hotels bekommen :-( Den Müll des vorherigen Gastes konnten wir im Badezimmer dann auch noch vorfinden. Wir bemängelten dieses und uns würde versprochen das der Müll entsorgt würde (was dann auch geschah), als Entschädigung überreichte man uns eine Getränkefreikarte mit der Aufschrift "heute sind sie unser Gast" (für zwei Personen). We waited 4 hours to get our reserved suite. It turned out to be fairly shabby, though clean. And not facing the harbor, but rather, the road. I am certain the photos showed the harbor. The air conditioning doesn't work well. And the glass doors into the bedroom afforded no light protection or privacy. The staff varied between okay and accomodating. Breakfast was excellent. It is convenient to the cruise terminal.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad! Mooie ruime kamer, zeer goede bedden, uitgebreid ontbijt, en vooral topservice van het personeel; we waren vergeten de wellnessruimte te reserveren die volgeboekt was toen we aankwamen, maar Guillome en Daniel hebben ervoor gezorgd dat we buiten openingstijden alsnog gebruik konden maken van de voorziening. We arrived late at 1 am after driving 7 hours. Booked a room with 2 beds but the receptionist said it was booked wrong because it was just for one person. The receptionist was very argumentative and not helpful at all. We had to discuss with him to get the room key and he was not sure if we could get the room because he wasn’t sure about the price. It may suddenly be double since we are 2 people. Overall a dissatifuying welcome and completely unnecessary discussion.

The Hotel Leonardo Hotel IJmuiden Seaport Beach was a bit out of the way unless you are leaving from the cruise port. That being said, the staff were all wonderful and accommodating, easy to work with and always with a smile. The waiters and the dining room Manager were friendly and easy to speak to. Everyone was very informed about the area and options available, unfortunately unless you rent a car, there were not many. We only stayed one night, before our cruise departure so we had a lovely relaxing night on the patio overlooking the boat harbor. Our rooms were clean, spacious and well stocked. The walls are thick enough, you cannot hear the neighbors and the included breakfast was wonderful and fresh. We would stay there again any time our cruise leaves from that port.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The rok.s are fairly basic but an awesome view and the staff were amazing. I cant praise them enough. I have been to so many places where the staff dont realky care. Here they were so attentive and sorted several problems very efficiently. The food in the evening is awesome and i dont say that lightly. Many hotels the food is really bad and getting worse. Here it was great and even though they had a big group in they were still very very good. Thankyou to all the staff especially the guy waiting tables.

We booked this hotel for the proximity to the Felison Cruise terminal. The hotel was perfect for our needs. Easy check in, spacious and clean room, great view, mini fridge worked, kettled worked, safe worked, separate room for toilet and one for the shower. We didn’t use the gym and the sauna room was locked. We assume it was not working. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel for dinner one night. The meals were very good and not overpriced. Service was excellent but a little slow at first. The staff were all great and spoke English very well. There are several restaurants located within steps of the hotel plus a little corner store that sold drinks, snacks, yogurt, hummus, cheeses, some baked goods, etc. There was enough there for us to have a quasi supper the night we arrived. We also bought fruit, etc there for breakfast before walking over to the cruise port. The beach was also two minutes away and went on for miles. We will definitely stay here again if a future cruise leaves from IJmuiden.

Zimmer okay, Fernseher hing sehr schief an der Wand, altes/ dreckiges Handtuch lag noch im Schrank. Haustiere erlaubt, aber im Gegensatz zu anderen Gästen wurde uns weder eine Wasserschüssel noch eine Decke angeboten. Online Check In hat nicht funktioniert, müssten vor Ort noch einen Betrag zahlen, die damle an der Rezeption reagierte nicht sehr freundlich und hatte auch keine Lust sich darum zu kümmern, warum in der App ein anderer Betrag stand. Sauna wird nicht täglich gereinigt (Haare vom Vortag lagen da noch rum). De kamer was erg netjes, mooi uitzicht vanuit de badkamer. Mijn vriend en ik vonden het ontbijt een beetje karig en werd niet aangevuld, dit kan zijn omdat er niet veel gasten in het hotel verbleven. Verder een fijn weekend gehad.
