Geiles Zimmer, tolles Hotel in super ruhiger Hafenlage. Zum Strand sind es 8min mit dem Auto, nach Zandvoort 28min. Top. Super sauber. Bedienungspersonal im Restaurant…….naja Mces ist genau so, bloß da erwartet man das. Sonst immer wieder gerne.

After two weeks of camping, we really appreciated the lovely bed and fantastic shower at this place. Not a lot of things were open when we got there later in the evening; if you are on foot, getting there from the Ijmuiden rail station is tricky. Not a lot of cabs want to come and get you. But the staff was truly kind and indulgent, and there's a bar and wonderful restaurant right on site. It's 700 m to the Newcastle ferry, and we know this because we walked it with our luggage. Thank you, and we would absolutely stay again.

Wonderful staff, check-in process super smooth, bicycle rental was a plus. Small room but used the space efficiently and none was wasted. Great rain shower and the view was interesting over the harbor. Located easily accessible to bus and bike routes and not far from the ocean. Definitely would stay again.

The stay got so much better when the right person came along and provided EXCELLENT, friendly, helpful service. Christiana provided invaluable information on how to use the public transit and saved us considerable cost, then took the time to assist us with bike storage access. Recognition for her is well deserved.

Om te beginnen was het parkeren perfect geregeld. We waren er om 10.30 en konden onze spullen al achterlaten ende gehuurde fietsen stonden al klaar. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was zeer netjes. Een verbetering zou kunnen zijn wanneer er een laadpaal zou zijn.

A good hotel, very near the DFDS Amsterdam to Newcastle service. Rooms spotless. Great bathroom. On site bar/ restaurant. Staff service was a little bit sketchy at times (Barman did not know what Brandy was!). Food at hotel lovely, but other eating options are nearby. Close to town centre - 15 minute walk. Bus to Amsterdam is 10 minutes away. There is a beautiful beach near by too - a 5 minute car drive or 10 unite bus ride or cycle away. I will stay again!

Hotel is uitstekend. Leuke details in de kamer. Heel compleet met oa föhn, koffie, lekkere zitstoel, genoeg opbergruimte, prima douche etc. Aardige dame achter de receptie. Ontbijt op zondag was goed. Op maandagochtend niet ( o.a.harde, droge croissant en aangebrande roerei). Locatie hotel is prima. Fietsen gehuurd, prima. Naast hotel parkeren.

Altijd een prettig verblijf! Service is top. De kaner was nog niet klaar zoals van te voren ook was aangegeven, maar de dame achter de receptie ging zelf het schoonmaakpersoneel helpen zodat deze toch op tijd voor ons klaar was voor onze taxi kwam, zodat wij onze spullen konden neerzetten en ons op konden frissen. Dat is nou service!

Supernet hotel, heerlijke bedden en linnengoed. Zalige douche. Maar ik ben gewend met het raam open te slapen en hier kon geen raam open, waardoor ik me erg naar voelde. Personeel aardig en ontbijt zalig. Het brood wat je zelf moet snijden heeft echter een te harde korst, wat eten moeilijk maakt en me huiverig maakt voor mijn gebit.

Zeer origineel ingericht en aangenaam hotel. Heel vriendelijk onthaal door de eigenaars zelf. Ook al het andere personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Overal zeer proper. Ontbijt was uitgebreid en gevarieerd. Zeker een aanrader.

Prachtig verblijf! Het ontbijt was vers en heel lekker. De kamer was schoon en gezellig, met zachte dekens en leuke details die het extra knus maakten. De douche was ook netjes en fris. De badjassen waren een fijne luxe! Echt een aanrader voor een comfortabel en verzorgd verblijf. 🌿🛏️

Zimmer Nr.17 hat in 2 m Höhe eine Art Kellerfenster, das man nicht öffnen kann. Ich traf nach dem Auspacken einen Herren an der Rezeption, der zum Hotelpersonal gehört. Habe dann aber nicht mehr nach einem anderen Zimmer gefragt. Das Frühstück war noch okay. Nächstes Mal Ijmuiden versuche ich ein anderes Hotel.

Nous étions de passage pour la nuit. Chambre au super décor pour 3 très grande avec de grands lits pour chacun. Une double douche, des produits bio, peignoir et chaussons. Bref le top! Buffet avec choix et machine à café thé de bar. Si nous devons repasser dans le coin nous irons. Le seul petit hic: des capteurs d’incendie trop sensible et près des douches: un client a déclenché l’alarme incendie de l’hôtel au petit matin, nous étions tous dehors au frais. Heureusement le proprio était sur place et nous avons pu rejoindre nos lits. Autre hic le check-in: pas si automatique avec les clés numériques et il fallait appeler pour trouver un receptionniste

Zimmer gut. Dusche mit Vorhang nicht gut. Einzelbetten nur 80cm breit und Matratze inkl. Topper haben sich immer wieder seitlich verschoben, musste man mehrmals nachts richten (Tip: es gibt auch anti-rutsch unterlagen). Frühstück gut. Preisleistung zu teuer.

The stay got so much better when the right person came along and provided EXCELLENT, friendly, helpful service. Christiana provided invaluable information on how to use the public transit and saved us considerable cost, then took the time to assist us with bike storage access. Recognition for her is well deserved.

This hotel is clean, professional, and convenient. It is a 2 minute walk to the bus stop that can get uou to Amsterdam and Haarlem. There was a problem with check-in but the manager totally took care of us.

A good hotel, very near the DFDS Amsterdam to Newcastle service. Rooms spotless. Great bathroom. On site bar/ restaurant. Staff service was a little bit sketchy at times (Barman did not know what Brandy was!). Food at hotel lovely, but other eating options are nearby. Close to town centre - 15 minute walk. Bus to Amsterdam is 10 minutes away. There is a beautiful beach near by too - a 5 minute car drive or 10 unite bus ride or cycle away. I will stay again!

After two weeks of camping, we really appreciated the lovely bed and fantastic shower at this place. Not a lot of things were open when we got there later in the evening; if you are on foot, getting there from the Ijmuiden rail station is tricky. Not a lot of cabs want to come and get you. But the staff was truly kind and indulgent, and there's a bar and wonderful restaurant right on site. It's 700 m to the Newcastle ferry, and we know this because we walked it with our luggage. Thank you, and we would absolutely stay again.

Wonderful staff, check-in process super smooth, bicycle rental was a plus. Small room but used the space efficiently and none was wasted. Great rain shower and the view was interesting over the harbor. Located easily accessible to bus and bike routes and not far from the ocean. Definitely would stay again.

De hotel eigenaar was uiterst vriendelijk. Zag dat er aandacht in was gestopt. Bed lag prima! Er was behoorlijk wat wind die nacht en het gierde/loeide door de hele kamer (zelfs in de hal). (Ook de harde ven van de badkamer bleef aan staan, terwijl alles uit was??) met een paar kussens voor de deur hielp het iets. Dus idee: wind stopper;)) Was fijn dat er een diner kon worden genuttigd, maar was minder dan gemiddeld. Ik bestelde bowl sla met vis en kreeg 2 zakken sla met daarop wat vis (die niet gaar genoeg was). Ontbijt was prima. Dus voor een nachtje helemaal ok voor IJmuiden!

Prachtig verblijf! Het ontbijt was vers en heel lekker. De kamer was schoon en gezellig, met zachte dekens en leuke details die het extra knus maakten. De douche was ook netjes en fris. De badjassen waren een fijne luxe! Echt een aanrader voor een comfortabel en verzorgd verblijf. 🌿🛏️

Nice location right on the Quay, and 5 mins from the old town & port. We asked to drop luggage off before checking in (ferry arrived at 1000), but the staff went above and beyond and had our room ready early. That was a really nice touch. The bus stop is 2 mins walk, and from there it is very easy to connect to Amsterdam, Haarlem & anywhere else you can think of.
