We received a warm welcome on arrival with unlimited tea and coffee on offer. The hotel is surrounded a a high grass bank which shuts out traffic noise giving a peaceful night's sleep. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very roomy. Only two (very) minor comments: the hotel does not have its own car parking area so it is a short but level walk from the service area parking plus the room radiator had a few small rust spots starting to show through. Plus point was the provision of good quality loo paper. However, this was our first stay at a Days Inn and we were impressed.

As expected, an overnight stay during our journey elsewhere at a motorway services. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was adequate, comfortable and clean… standard. Reception had extra tea and coffee facilities if required. But we didn’t need extra. Also I noticed a microwave in the reception area and they sold cold alcohols too.

Room dated with chips in the bath etc. Parking was in the services and not directly outside the hotel so bringing in a suitcase across the traffic and in the rain wasn’t the best. We were also charged for parking which wasn’t stated when booked so the additional charges weren’t expected. Service was ok, nothing special, no smiling welcome as we often get at other hotels but can’t beat the price and as it was just for an overnight stay enroute to a cruise we didn’t mind.

1st issue was having to pay for parking which has obviously been an issue before as he went straight to the App to show me where it says theres a charge. There is only free parking if you book via their website. I'd looked on their site and then booked on Hotels.com. The room was tatty, the sink was cracked. It was freezing cold so i was brought an extra heater and duvet. I think ill stick to Travelodge!!!

Ideal for what I wanted. Food court next door in service station, on the motorway so good movement for working around this area. Counter staff friendly, common areas a little dirty and dated but you wouldn't expect anything else for accommodation on motorway services. Rooms are a good size, beds are comfy and shower is great. Extra, tea, milk and coffee in reception along with any additional towels you may require

DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION. I have never stayed in such a filthy hotel room in my life. There was dirt, scuff and repaint marks on the walls, thick dust collected along the floor edge, paint on the curtains, TV unit and mirror, broken and unusable plug sockets (of which there was only one available in the entire room), stain marks on the floor and chair, broken and rotten shirting board and door frame around the bathroom, stained and filthy toilet fixtures, thick, chunky clumps of dust in the extractor fan and grime everywhere in general. This room was disgusting. The only nice element was leaving. I highly advise you find somewhere else to stay.

Convenience and parking were the positives due to the hotel being at a motorway services. However, the room needs cleaning and updating - dirty taps, bathroom floor, black marks on the ceiling above the bed, spiders webs and poor facilities such as loose plug sockets, botched diy attempts and a crooked toilet roll holder.

The property as usual was lovely, the room was fresh and clean. Bedding was fresh. The room had been aired and smelt lovey. The bathroom was clean and tidy and my room had a fridge in it. Check was quick and simple.

Only one window opens theres a lot of mold in the bathroom and the toilet was wobbly and the over all condition of the hotel needs a lot of TLC and a customer service course for the starff it was a big let down compair to most of the others i stayed in

Room was very worn and dated. Room was cold and heater did not work. No extra bedding available in the room. Unfortunately there were some very inconsiderate guests above us who were drinking in the reception prior to continuing the party in their rooms at 03:00.

This was at the budget-end of the budget market. It was poorly sound-proofed - I could hear every conversation in neighbouring rooms and the floor above banged as residents moved around. Very little sleep available on the ground floor. The building is well past its sell-by date and needs to be torn down and started again. I had paid for four nights but only stayed for three.

The room was good. Bed very comfortable and generally clean. Room 007 has a fridge which was nice. Bathroom clean and fully functional. Could have done with another handrail near soap dispenser to aid getting out of bath as Im a little unsteady on feet after leg injury a few years ago. Could hear people moving around upstairs, especially first night - thought it was a herd of elephants and that they were going to come through ceiling. Quiet room apart from that. They don't service the rooms whilst you are there - i eas there 4 nights but you can get clean towels, more tea/coffee/ milk from reception if needed.

Basic motel but did the job for a stopover. Bed was comfortable. Staff polite. We were in room 3 and when using the double socket, the right socket crackled so we didnt use this one. The lest side was ok.

The staff at the desk were so helpful to me during my stay. I spoke to a couple of different staff at the desk and all were equally amazing at attending to my needs. They made my stay really enjoyable and helped me to navigate my way to a nearby wedding. The first night I stayed alone and felt safe. Nice comfortable beds. Would highly recommend.

Hotel is in a fantastic location, very quiet you don’t hear no traffic, bedding was clean and fresh, room smelt fresh and was very clean. The lady night porter very rude. The lady checking us out was lovely and amazing. Will definitely use again. The hotel does need updating but it does the job.

The hotel is advertised as 24/7 front desk but on arrival no one there a note to say they would be back in 30mins. The receptionist said they are not paid for meal breaks.Room was ok and bed comfortable but lots of dust and I enclose a picturee of the radiator. The manager said the radiators are gradully beingvreplaced at 1 or 2 per month as they are expensive.

Once we arrived, everything was okay, but finding the hotel was difficult because the sat nav took us to the other side of the motorway, which is an extra 20 minutes on the journey. The hotel should use what3words on their directions.

Ok place as a stopover, Cheap n cheerful. Only issue is having to drive quite a way to get to motorway junction to change to the following side of the motorway to access the services.

Property was not easy to find at first as is not signposted well and set back which was hard to find in the dark. Staff very helpful in finding it tho once we spoke to them on the phone. Overall the property was comfortable and suitable for our trip although the bath was very very small

We were also charged for parking which wasn’t stated when booked so the additional charges weren’t expected. Service was ok, nothing special, no smiling welcome as we often get at other hotels but can’t beat the price and as it was just for an overnight stay enroute to a cruise we didn’t mind.

Amazing stay, hotel in brilliant location, clean and fresh bedding and the room was clean and fresh, the weather was very hot but the room was cool and the windows were left open and fan was on. Checking in was quick, easy brilliant. Rooms do need updating but for what I needed it for was brilliant. Will definitely recommend. Bathroom was clean and tidy.

The hotel is in a very good location. The check in was easy. The hotel does need updating our room was very basic and the wall paper was coming off. The bathroom sink was cracked and the floor was coming away from the wall but The room was clean. Room smelt fresh. Snacks and drinks are available. Also no sockets near the bed to charge phone

Cheap and cheerful, the front of house staff were great, friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, however Room 2 had a bit of a drain pong plus the floor we needed to clean as it had some unknown bathroom residue on it. We wore our own slippers as the floor could have benefited from a a deep clean. The bed was big and comfortable so slept well. It is convenient located for those who as we did, want a day trip to Bath, Bristol and Cardiff. If you want to loop back to Reading, Greenham Common, Bicester or London it’s 5 miles up to the Swindon turn off. Overall it was a functional motel, with the services Little Waitrose, KFC and Burger King.

As expected, an overnight stay during our journey elsewhere at a motorway services. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was adequate, comfortable and clean… standard. Reception had extra tea and coffee facilities if required. But we didn’t need extra. Also I noticed a microwave in the reception area and they sold cold alcohols too.

This hotel was hard to find. There was a Days sign but no indication that the hotel was down the adjacent path, I had to ask someone in the main service station. Better signing would be helpful, that could be seen whilst driving in the car The staff were very friendly and helpful There was a problem with the toilet seat, which I mentioned on check-out but I don't understand how the housekeeping team missed it
