Millers Hotel by Greene King Inns

Staff are so friendly and helpful, quick service, delicious food, oh so comfy bed, dog friendly. We've stayed here a few times over the last couple of years and it's always excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

Good quality food, clean room, staff helpful. Only minus was the in house wi fi was not working (they assured me it was being dealt with), mobile signal poor. Electric vehicle charger in car park. I would stay again

we have stayed, sometimes with friends, a few times over the last 8 months. We have found it really clean & comfortable. It is convenient for family nearby. The staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble. All the meals we had were really nice (breakfast a bit dear) & the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. It's dog friendly too. Give it a try.

Far too hot and we were given a room above function room whilst wedding was on. Had zero sleep

One night stay had some drinks at the bar good choice of beer and cider

Used as a base as attending a 2 day show. Used the restaurant at night which was lovely

We enjoyed our stay, the staff were really friendly, and pleasant. But perhaps they should check their bathrooms, if you have a dispenser for liquid soap make sure it’s filled. Every where was beautifully clean, and the bed was comfy We will be back

Noticed that there was a bit of grime/dirt on the shower nob. Poor water flow and temperature when having a shower. Needs sorting.

There was lip stick on the mug in the bedroom, a mouse trap under the dressing table and extremely noisey guests late at night, of which the hotel wasn't really to blame for this, but guests should be asked to be mindful of noise uf returning late at night

The hotel was nice and warm clean and inviting the bar area was also very cosy and inviting i had a meal one evening of a steak pie etc but was really disappointed it was all gravy and pastry very little meat content .our room was clean and warm bed comfortable the only issue was the shower it was the worst ive ever had just dribbled out the walls seemed very thin also only you could hear what was going on in the next room . I wouldn't stay again because of the shower and my meal.

Super friendly welcoming staff. Service at breakfast and dinner excellent. Beautiful pub. Found the bed a bit soft for my liking. Had 2 random table lamps in the room that weren't plugged into anything. Plenty of teabags and coffee but lacking in sugar or milk. Unfortunately the shower only ran lukewarm or stone cold. Quite clean except for a huge cobweb hanging from the ceiling. Bathroom was spotless, shame I couldn't have a shower. Would try it again another time.

A quick stop-over so didn’t use the restaurant, but was all set up for breakfast when I left and looked great. Hotel room had tea, coffee, etc and all was clean and well-presented. Hotel receptionist was welcoming, friendly and informative. Would stay again.

Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok if a little expensive for the portion size.

Real issues with water pressure. Manager did all they could to help me out but in the first room I was in (before swapping) the hot water was no more than a trickle, had to have a cold shower. It’s also fairly noisy, either from the roadside or being near the pub itself. Second room was much better but was a bad nights asleep.

The hotel is very dated and not in good order. Breakfast also was not up to a good standard.

I loved the area downstairs ie dinning area bar funcyion room but i can only say for my room it was at the front so it was very noisy and very dated ther was no heating on as being beginning of autumn was vold in the morning , it wasn't very clesn either.

Had to call ahead to say I might be late checking in and this was no problem at all. Zane on the front desk was excellent. Hotel was perfectly fine and comfortable but the rooms are probably due a refurb to make them a bit more modern? Not a criticism, just an observation.

No one at reception on arrival. Had to pull someone away from the bar-made to feel like an inconvenience. Room incredibly small, dark and dingy. Below ground level with a tiny window that was in an alcove. No table or area to work. Bed had a dip in it as this was the only place to sit to watch TV or work. Bathroom clean. Decor drab and needed another 3 coats of paint. T&C making facilities but no cups. When mentioned on leaving that the stay was disappointing there was no apology.

It was ok but things it was warm so needed air in room and the noise fro the road outside was awful, also breakfast was disgusting sausage was awful , bacon was not cooked properly the scrambled egg was more like smashed egg and mushroom were tin ones , my friend had crumpets that were not cooked all in all terrible, on the plus side the staff were very nice, and when I complained they took it off the bill straight away know argument

No air-con in the rooms meaning was boiling all night, very dated and small rooms and the walls are paper thin, woke up multiple times by other people walking and talking.

We stayed here on a Thursday and Friday evening. Bizarrely the Friday night was much more reasonable with real fast included and breakfast really is the star of the show here, along with the very friendly helpful staff, BUT the rooms are quite noisy, being on the main road, and the walls very thin and the worst thing of all unfortunately was the shower situation. On morning 1 haunch paid over £90 incl breakfast for a room, our shower was broken and we had to use my nieces shower which was a red hot trickle and impossible to control. Ot it’s important to note that this was the morning of my father’s funeral. On noght 2, they Tried to move me to room 12, which was my nieces room, and I declined because the shower has been so poor that morning. They then put us in room 10, note, by now we are on our third shower, and this time again, the shower was impossible to control, it was either red hot or lukewarm. At which point, I gave up, on the basis that the second night had only been £68 including breakfast, but I am now regretting that I didn’t ask for a refund partially for the first night. So, to cut long story short, this hotel is okay as somewhere to rest your head, but do not expect a shower that works in either rooms 10, 12 or 15, Unless anything changes very soon!

Stayed here a few times & had a meal too. Cant fault the rooms at all & the meals are beautiful. Only issue was we only had 1 towel between us but that was soon rectified. Also never anyone on reception & not sure the bell work's

The room, and bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a bit tired, and could do with re tiling. Apart from that the meals we had were good, and the staff very polite and attentive. In all we enjoyed our stay.

I stayed for one night, a Saturday whilst attending an event at nearby Mallory Park. I have stayed a Green King hotels before so the Millers was as expected. I was warned at check in that food service may be slow, it was !. Just one negative comment, in my opinion the staff in general could be a bit more friendly, they were efficient enough, but hardly a smile out of anyone.

The area was nice and quiet safe overnight parking. Clean accommodation nice dining area's and comfortable spaces. The staff were nicely turned out very polite and pleasant to talk to.

Excellent stay with a friend exploring the local area. Fantastic staff who were very friendly and helpful. Fabulous breakfast which was plentiful and delicious.

Room was in need of updating a bit shabby and dusty. Bathroom bin wasn’t emptied when we arrived Food in restaurant was excellent but due to a large party arriving late, we all had to wait over an hour for our food.

very poor meal how do you make lasagne without any taste? and the chicken and ham hock pie was all pastry and very little filling very dissapointing the shower controls and cold tap very difficult to open allmost seized up and the toilet tank loose on the wall,We have stayed here several times and this was the worse stop!

room 24 was ok but shower wasnt good and the second day no hot water at all from shower i did tell them but just said sorry to here that good bye also all food was cold neber had a hot mealbeen there 3 times before bit dont think we will be back

The staff were great. The menu was great and the food was really nice. Only down side was our window was broken and wouldn’t shut properly, luckily it was warm otherwise I would have asked to be moved.
