Good location for airport access. The only issue is the room didn’t have a telephone to contact Front Desk or other uses. Two beds and TV location was odd… could only view from one bed. However, staff were fantastic. Pub on location was good with very nice menu options. Good stay👍

Very convenient location for events and gatherings I was taking part in. Nice riverside setting. Pleasant restaurant with sensibly priced meal options. On site parking with EV car charging sites. No gym, but close to lakes and walking paths.

Lovely room, loved the fact that water and tissues were provided. Bit of a hiccup on checking in but it was soon resolved. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, large choice, freshly cooked. Easy check out. Good size free car park.

It was a nice touch to have 24 hour reception coverage… reassuring should you require anything out of hours. The toilets in the public areas were Spotless, did cheat on occasion and use the Disabled Toilet situated on the Ground Floor as it seemed a Lifetime to go upstairs and along the corridor to the main toilets.

The restaurant and service was good. However the skirting boards in our room we're pretty dirty and had not been wiped in a while and there were cobwebs from the headboard of the bed to the wall. There were also a lot of cobwebs between the ceiling and curtain pole. The grouting around the shower was dirty and the bath chipped/marked in a couple of places. The mixer shower knob was also seized.

Shower was a bit problematic in the room that i booked. I fell in the bath tub cause of soap residue left from the last occupants (tells me it wasn't cleaned properly) left with a sore bum. During shower i realised the problem, blockage down the drain, leaving soap residue once you're finished. I tried my best to rinse it to leave it free of slippery soap residue. At checkout i informed the receptionist about the issue and i hope the next occupants didn't have a similar incident

Stayed with my husband and 16 year old son for 1 night for a family wedding. Arrived 6:30 pm very quick and smooth check in which was good because we got changed then left again. Room was clean to a high standard. Bed was comfy. Good choice for breakfast and was help yourself service. Shower in the morning was very refreshing. Quick and smooth checkout. Definitely recommend and stay again if in the area.

Staff are great and very freindly, rooms are clean and well presented the air con is a blessing on the warm days. Bath showers could do with having thermostatically controlled bath mixer taps as very easy scald yourself.

I have stayed here several times before and have always been very pleased. This time I booked the cozy double. There is very little space between the end of the bed and the wall but other than that there is plenty of room to get dressed etc. it is very clean. The other times I have stayed in different rooms which were much bigger.

freezing room 15 degrees I was blamed for making a late booking was eventually moved room after an hour sitting in the cold. Wasn’t offered anything else and met with flippancy when a bit more care would have been nice. Nice location and nice breakfast. Cheaply renovated borders and old ripped wallpaper painted over but in all it’s a nice hotel.

The staff were very attentive and polite. We were at the front of the hotel and as there wasn’t aircon in the room we had our window open. Very loud traffic noice throughout the night. The tv didn’t work but as we arrived late, that wasn’t a problem.

Room overlooking a main road suffers from road noise. Unfortnately also suffers from excessive noise from neighbouring room. You can hear clearly water running and talking from the room.

From check in to check out, I cannot fault my stay here. This hotel had been recommended to me by several friends, and they weren't wrong. A warm welcome from the receptionist on arrival. A lovely, spacious room, comfy bed and large shower. The bar and restaurant staff were excellent. The food delicious, reasonable bar prices as well Breakfast was excellent and checkout seemless. I'd happily stay here again. If you are coming here, even for just a meal; do book a table in advance as they get very busy and you can see why.

It might sound like a cliché and a bit over the top but I think this is one of the best hotels in the world. The location is great, ample parking, the location next to the river gives the hotel a great atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the service matches, even when the restaurant is very busy. A nightcap after dinner on the terrace by the river on a warm summer evening! What more could you want? Highly recommended!

Little bit off the beaten track for the Ferry Terminal but lovely hotel and setting with secure parking. Staff great, service was great and everything was clean. Bed was very comfy also. Would stay again.

Another pleasant stay here, staff are friendly and the service is good. A good breakfast is available with a good variety of options. Also the restaurant runs daily specials which helps bring some welcomed alternatives to the menu.

Would have been a very pleasant 2 night stay if it hadn’t have been for the way I was treated at breakfast on the final day. Made to feel very uncomfortable by the head chef ‘Hussain’ I believe is his name, purely because I only wanted coffee and toast, which I had been given without problem the previous morning. The way he made me feel, talked to me and then stood watching me with his arms folded means I will not be returning. Shame because as a family we have used the Bridgehouse on many occasions including hiring out the riverside room. Not in future!

The hotel is comfortable enough to stay a few nights in. However, the food is very overpriced and to be honest not that nice. We had a party of 8 people, a burger was £16 and it contained a piece of chicken and a bit of tomato, lettuce and cheese. Burgerking would have sold it for around £5. I had Lasagna, which was good on top as it was covered in melted cheese, but the mince underneath was a bit dry. I unfortunately chose to have a carvery the next day as we were going to a function and needed lunch before we went. The beef was dry and quite tough, the french beans were hard, the yorkshire puddings I believe were Aunt Bessies as they were like cardboard. Very disappointed. Will stay at the hotel again for a night, but will not have the very overpriced food.

My Wife and I have had a short break away and were greeted by helpful polite staff. We had carvery that evening and it was excellent. Our room was very spacious and very well appointed. We chose to have the buffet breakfast (extra) and it too was fantastic

Was pleasant. Whilst by a busyish road, restaurant and bar at rear overlooking river with wildlife which was pleasant. Restaurant had a brief but competent menu, with several vegetarian/ vegan options. Very friendly staff. Room was small in terms of floorspace but otherwise perfectly comfortable with bath and good sized bed. Cooked buffet breakfast. Felt modern overall. Would be happy to stay again
