Easy to find and easy to park. Lovely warm welcome. The room was huge with a lovely big bed, sea views and a great shower room. Above all, it was clean and comfortable. When we speak about it, we call it the Lovey Dover Inn.

The hotel is a fully functional pub and hotel. This was not a problem for me. Clean room, friendly staff, comfortable bed and a great view from my window over a beautiful coastal bay. The only issue I had was that the shower temperature was difficult to control.

There is no parking on site like website states. If you can park across from the Inn it is free. There is a big public car park near the beach which is park and pay. We had a nice Sea View room. Room could benefit having a sofa.

Aberdovey is a great place to visit and the location of Dovey Inn is perfect close to beach and shops, Great view from bedroom. We tend to eat out but the atmosphere in the Dovey is friendly and fun and dog friendly in the bar. Go often as we live only 1hour away.

Very busy in the bar and restaurant with insufficient staff to cope. The few staff there were, were excellent, but rushed off their feet and finding it difficult to cope. The public bar was noisy with loud music until midnight, the Friday, Saturday and Sunday I stayed, making it impossible to sleep any earlier.

Swift and easy check-in. The family room had two bedrooms which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have done with a rubber bath mat but found out later we could have asked for one. Similarly de-caff tea and coffee I guess. We had our 4-year-old granddaughter with us but there were no issues with noise from the bar below. Limited menu but food was very good. Steaks were lovely. Nice pint too. Great breakfast. Excellent service from friendly, attentive, courteous and efficient staff. Would stay again.

Just a lovely place room was really nice over looking the sea. The only problem was that they couldn’t get the ovens mended but it was out of their hands. So it was a limited menu but the meals we had were really nice. Good choice on breakfasts as well. The only thing is I think it would be really nice is to have some throw away paper place mats to place on the tables as sometimes a table gets a bit sticky.

The only bad part was that we had to leave . An absolute amazing stay. Very friendly and accommodating staff, great food , quiet during night, very clean room that was tide up every day. We even had cookies, coffee and tea replenished every day in our room. By far one of the best stay we’ve had . Highly recommended

Great little hotel with heaps of charm, overlooking the sea. The family room was excellent with 2 bedrooms. Lovely decor and renovated bathroom. Lovely windows with nice view. Good value for money breakfast in the morning which was made to order.

Exemplary customer service and friendly staff - cannot fault them at all! Great dinner and breakfast too. Great location for anyone wishing to escape to a quiet fishing village and/or the local hills, whether for the views or watch the military jets flying low overhead (or below them!) Would very happily return and recommend! Highly recommend visitors also visit the birthplace inspiration behind Thomas The Tank Engine at nearby Tywyn Wharf Railway Station.

The hotel is a fully functional pub and hotel. This was not a problem for me. Clean room, friendly staff, comfortable bed and a great view from my window over a beautiful coastal bay. The only issue I had was that the shower temperature was difficult to control.

There is no parking on site like website states. If you can park across from the Inn it is free. There is a big public car park near the beach which is park and pay. We had a nice Sea View room. Room could benefit having a sofa.

Great little hotel with heaps of charm, overlooking the sea. The family room was excellent with 2 bedrooms. Lovely decor and renovated bathroom. Lovely windows with nice view. Good value for money breakfast in the morning which was made to order.

Exemplary customer service and friendly staff - cannot fault them at all! Great dinner and breakfast too. Great location for anyone wishing to escape to a quiet fishing village and/or the local hills, whether for the views or watch the military jets flying low overhead (or below them!) Aberdovey is a great place to visit and the location of Dovey Inn is perfect close to beach and shops, Great view from bedroom. We tend to eat out but the atmosphere in the Dovey is friendly and fun and dog friendly in the bar. Go often as we live only 1hour away.

Fantastic room at the front of the hotel with a great bathroom. Good sized shower and fantastic free standing bath. Well decorated bar and restaurant with friendly staff but sadly let down by terrible food in the evening. Took breakfast next door in the cafe as did not want to eat there again.

A lovely large, clean room with a sea view. A very comfy bed, plenty of sockets by the bed and around the room and a decent sized TV. A great shower with plenty of hot water. We didn't have breakfast at the Inn but we did eat our evening meal there a few times. We always booked a table as it did look busy. The food was the usual pub grub and was hot and tasty. We would definitely stay here again.

Swift and easy check-in. The family room had two bedrooms which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have done with a rubber bath mat but found out later we could have asked for one. Similarly de-caff tea and coffee I guess. We had our 4-year-old granddaughter with us but there were no issues with noise from the bar below. Limited menu but food was very good. Steaks were lovely. Nice pint too. Great breakfast. Excellent service from friendly, attentive, courteous and efficient staff. Would stay again.

Just a lovely place room was really nice over looking the sea. The only problem was that they couldn’t get the ovens mended but it was out of their hands. The inn is lovely, perfect location, great staff, good food, free parking on the road, wonderfully comfy bed and great bathroom… but beware of room 7 with a sea view.. on the second floor up steep steps but the reason for the 3 star rating is that you will constantly hear the water pump every time anyone in the hotel uses a drop of water. ALL NIGHT LONG! Very hard to sleep or stay asleep when is constantly starting up close by the bed. Were exhausted the next day, so glad we only stayed one night. The water pressure on the second floor is fab…but the noise from the pump really is annoying. The hotel only has an emergency contact number and no overnight staff so by 11pm when you realise that the pump is going to be jolting you awake regularly there is no one that can help.
