Stayed 1 night

Well firstly on this site it said the check in time was 14.00, when we arrived it was like the marie celeste. Eventually after ringing the bell for attention with another couple trying to check in. We were told check in was 15.00. The room was dirty and damaged, the children's bunk bed was unsafe flexing despite being bodged with extra timber and screws. The shower tray was cracked with such a weak flow anyone would think it had prostate problems. When we went to have an evening meal half the menu was not available and what they did produce was inedible. I refused to pay the full amount of £65 but gave them £20 which was more than generous. It is such a shame that a venue in such a delightful location is being run into the ground by incompetent management I would not advise anyone to attempt to stay at this venue if you value your health
