Generally clean and tidy, however..... No light controls next to bed and terrible lighting arrangement. L shaped room with wall mounted TV situated in only place where it couldn't be viewed from bed. Nowhere to sit other than on a box type stool thing housed at the toy sized desk or on bed. Where there should have been a chair, from which you could have viewed the tv, was a pointless bedside type unit with a lamp on. Desk was just about big enough to house tea/coffee stuff and kettle, would be useless if you needed to do some some work. As usual with a pub, there was an annoying unit/ fan thing outside the window whirring away all night. Low quality bedding: sheets, duvet etc. Absolutely not worth £110, breakfast not included. Strangely, whilst charging you this, an advert in room offers Sunday lunch, room and breakfast for two at 100 quid, which is not what you want to hear really.

The staff were very attentive on arrival. I was shown to my room with various bits and pieces explained.. the room was lovely and clean with a very comfortable bed (pillows a bit too soft in my opinion, but that’s just personal preference) The bathroom was beautiful and had a great shower, lovely hot water with great pressure. We had a meal in the evening, and the food was absolutely delicious. Service was on point and lovely atmosphere. We all noted the quality of the music that was playing.. I don’t think we heard a bad song in a little over 3 hours. Thank you! 🤗

Room was clean but cold, no heating in the room on arrival an extra oil rad was supplied, then of course it got too hot early morning 1,2,3,4, am Bathroom heater too small for the size of the room not helped by not having a blind to keep the cold from the windows, a blind was fitted before because wall plugs were still in situation, dressing/ tea, coffee table wobbly so hot liquid did spill, cheap and nasty piece of furniture, Barby room this is our room we stayed in , hopefully the next two visits room selected will be better. Rant over.
