We were very impressed with Hotel Smart. While maintaining an old world atmosphere, the unit was very modern. Parking underground if needed, breakfast provided, rooms were very modern. We would definitely return.

Lovely family run hotel - traditional estate converted to a simple but very pleasant hotel. Room was spacious with a nice sized bathroom, lots of light and very comfortable. Nice breakfast spread without excess and excellent location within walking distance to the boardwalk to Estoril and Cascais. Easy parking, and quiet neighborhood, and lovely garden/grounds. Overall a great stay and one to be repeated the next time I am in the area.

We had a very nice stay at hotel Smart. Its staff is very friendly and well prepared to serve as a host in your vacation. You can walk to the train station and get the train to Lisbon. if you are a senior at the the train just will pay 4 Euros.

Booked this stay to see the IronMan event in Cascais, it was just a 8-10 min Uber ride away, with a beautiful boardwalk as well (didn’t use it due to rain). It is a quaint lovely hotel that was just right for the short stay. I definitely recommend!

Close to the beach. This area is not for someone with mobility issues. I love to walk and walked all the way from this propery in Estoril to Cascais down the beach board walk. Stunning views along the walk. The streets around the hotel are very hilly. Great authentic portugese restaurant recommended by the hotel about 10 min walk. Lovely property and rooms. Breakfast very good.
