Stayed 1 night

Stayed just the one night and arrived right at the end of check in, but it definitely did the job. Very much a local feel, and the staff and other guests I met were all lovely. Had a great chat with the barman about football and movies. The room itself wasn't anything special but it was clean, and I appreciate the TV being a smart TV that you can sign in to your streaming services of choice. Breakfast was fine, if not a bit under seasoned for my taste. But salt and pepper are on the tables so it's just like being at a café. All in all, I can't complain.

The staff was excellent, the room clean, the parking easy and the bar had a tv to watch the game. Down point was the bathroom - with a shower that didn't maintain the temperature of the water for longer that seconds and I had to adjust it all the time. Very nice for the price, but the romantic recommendation mislead us somewhat.

Stayed for a work trip, Ample parking space, good pub and peaceful sleep. It was a Tuesday night stay and neighbouring church bell practice was going on until 9pm. Didn't bother me much but just to share for future bookers.
