No heat in room which isn’t good for North Dakota in November. Bathroom mirror was burned out and top light was very dim so very hard to get ready in the morning. Pool was out and according to others ha been out since August. No vending or ice machines in entire motel.

When i arrived at the hotel the elevator was broken,the spa was broken and the pool was broken. Since La Quinta did not offer the amenities as stated in the Hotels .com ad I felt i didn't want to stay there as I am elderly and cannot manage stairs well. When asked for a refund they denied it.

If you are wanting to use the hot tub or water slide, THEY ARE OUT OF USE. For a couple of months apparently, yet they still advertise that they are available We were only told the hot tub was closed, after we checked in!! That was the reason we picked this hotel, because it had a big hot tub and we were there for a relaxing family weekend. There were also no towels in the pool area and they definately need more chairs around the pool. The arm chairs in our queen 1 bedroom suite were very dirty and run down and the bathroom tap had no pressure and very little hot water. The 2nd room we booked had no light in the bathroom, and when we asked them to change the bulb they said the fixture was broken. For the price we paid, we were not impressed with the place. Would not stay here again.

We booked this hotel specifically as it had a bigger hot tub and when we arrived we were told it wasn’t working and hasn’t been for the last 2 months. This was an annual family get together and we always sit and visit in the hot tub. The website said there was a hot tub. It should be removed from description if not operation for extended period as that is false advertising. Then our room was in another floor when we asked for 3 rooms to be together. Then our TV in room didn’t work and they couldn’t switch it out or fix it. Not a good experience at all.

Hotel needs maintenance. Hot tub was out of order. Elevator was out of order to the second floor. The small fridge was not working in our room. A second fridge was in the corner of the room and had a bag of open chicken nuggets in it. Will be staying at another hotel the next time in Fargo.

PSA - Book directly with the property to avoid these 3rd party bookings...And be cautious with Wyndham Stayed there for the pool. It was closed for maintenance and they did not refund, even partially. Had i known this i would not have booked. I have been VERY disappointed with Wyndham properties the last few times. Book with caution. Not to mention hotels.com did nothing to help. Their agents even lied about "contacting the hotel". Terrible experience with hotels.com.

We specifically booked for the hot tub and pool area. Hot tub was closed down, water slide and water shoots were not running. There is mold growing along the outside walls. Would not have booked here had we known this. Main elevator did not work, ice machine or vending machines did not work. All of this should have been on their website. I heard people complaining about their showers as well.

The room smelled musty. The floor, furniture surfaces, and countertops in the room were all sticky. The carpet was dirty. The surrounding room doors were being slammed shut at all hours. Everything felt dirty. The pool area has significantly degraded and things were either broken or in need of repair. The hot tub water looked dirty. The pool was shut down on the second day of our stay. It was realized the second day that the fridge was warm and it had been unplugged. The toilet continually ran until my husband repositioned the plug. The shampoo dispenser was mounted by the bathroom sink, not in the shower. The elevator floor was dirty and sticky even with housekeeping staff going in and out, no one stopped to clean it. This hotel has been dramatically neglected. It used to be our go to place when staying in Fargo. We will not be staying here again.

Had to wait 10 minutes for my room to be cleaned despite in being 4:45pm! Hot tub was out of order, pool was freezing, slide was unusable, ice machine didn’t work, garbage on the floor in my room and blood on the sheet when we pulled back the blankets! Over all horrible hotel

The facility had construction going on. It was a complete mess. - the first floor and most of the second were closed - the spa was closed - the fire escape next to our room locked (probably a code violation) - the furniture in the lobby was missing or filthy - our shower tiles were covered in mold/mildew - I forgot a comb and when I asked at the desk I was told they didn’t have any of that stuff - the only operable ice machine was in another building on the fourth floor - the elevator lobbies were small and very hot Don’t stay here

My first impression was a very rude front desk staff that wasn’t interested in trying to rectify my “check in” issue. Black mold around the shower and dirty walls were the first impression in our room. Hairs on the bedsheets. The hotel is currently not taking cash, this is new and possibly temporary, but I was not aware of the change and took a pretty harsh foreign exchange hit to my credit card. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The lobby area is nice and smells clean, but the rest of the hotel needs some major TLC. The elevator flooring needs to be replaced and it didn’t smell the best. The room carpeting was sticky to the point where we wore our shoes or socks at all times. The backing on the desk chair was almost completely torn off. The sink and tub were slow to drain. Hole in wall in room, picture missing but nails still there, one of the 2 beds were broken, so it didn’t support the mattress. Both mattresses need to be replaced. Baseboard by the tub fell off and was just lying there, light fixture above the sink was burnt out. Our tv quit working, but staff did come up and had to reboot the tv. They said the smart tv was old and wasn’t compatible anymore with the tv service so they have to reboot them on a regular basis. It was like the maintenance team or company had been on strike for many months! They definitely need to set aside some of their customers room rental money for repairs and upgrades. It’s getting pretty ran down. Probably won’t stay there again and I don’t have extremely high hotel expectations.

I guess this is an older La Quinta, or we just got the “third party” room. Window was open when we checked in, both queen beds were sagging in the middle, air conditioner was noisy, tub/shower need replacing. Carpeting in halls need to be ripped up and tossed. We got a good deal, and yes, you get what ya pay for.

The hot tub was broken. The little room that sells snacks was almost empty. There's no Wi-fi. The shower had mildew on all 3 walls. You can see light in around the door, so it doesn't keep any noise out at all from the hallway. But the beds were comfortable, the TV had lots of channels, and the breakfast was okay.

We were pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the beds. The heater was quiet, so we slept better than we had most nights on this trip. Bathroom was nice and clean. Like the Dove soap. Breakfast was good - hot egg and sausage patties, potatoes, biscuits and gravy. Also the usual toasts, cereal, waffles. Happy to see yogurt and fruit.

The hotel was under new management, they were understaffed, we were sent to 5 different rooms because the electronic key to the rooms didn’t work, the staff member had to personally let guests into their rooms because their keys weren’t working, the elevator didn’t work for guests staying on the second floor, the spa was out of service, the hotel was under renovation simultaneously and guests were checking out and canceling their reservations and going to other hotels so we didn’t the same. This was the absolute worst experience with a hotel in my entire life!

Was in Fargo for a graduation, I had booked a room 5 months in advance, did the early check in, and called the morning of to make sure we had a room. Was told yes. Got to hotel About 9pm and was told that they filled my room (king size bed single room), and that nothing was available. Continued to talk to the gentleman and lady at front desk and story changed to they over booked hotel and they now had a queen size double room available but I had to pay an additional $130 to stay at hotel. I argued that this wasn’t my fault he wouldn’t budge so I requested to talk to manager and there was non there and I’d need to call back on Monday where there was one available. I talked to a lady by the name of Margarita the next morning after my card had been charged without approval and no receipt (wouldn’t give me one). And she said the room I had reserved was available the previous night, and was still available. I mentioned that my card was charged the 130 and she said to call Monday and talk to a manager and it would be givin back. So props to her! The other two need to have a serious sit down talk with management

Our stay was bad. We were put on the 4th floor because you could not get to the second floor by elevator due to some problem. When we got back to the hotel we tried to use the elevator. It would not work. We were told to use the other elevator. So we did only to find out we could not get to our room from that elevator. So we had to use the stairs to the 4th floor for the length of our visit. My friend has back issues. We told this to the lady at the front desk. She never offered to move us to a room that we could get to from an elevator. Terrible stay!!!!!

Do not stay here!!! Horrible customer service. We showed up at 8pm (3pm check in) and they told us they had no rooms available because they have not been cleaned yet. We had to wait OVER FOUR HOURS to get into our room! We were not in our room until after midnight (12:45AM). They never said they were sorry. Simply told us we had to wait. The lobby was FULL of people waiting for rooms. Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never even heard of a hotel run this poorly.

The staff was nice but they needed a ton more help. Checked in at 8 PM and then took three hours to get a rollaway bed that we requested. Our toilet needed fixed and it took two hours and multiple request to get it fixed and they never came. I went and asked for a plunger and attempted to fix it myself. Everything was either broken or in bad condition.

The checkin process was horrendous. The employees couldnt get us into youe rooms and kept saying it was a problem with expedia. Pool water caused rashes on the kid and there were no towels in the pool area. The showers had absolutely no pressure. When youd call down to the desk to ask for something missing from your room theyd tell you they were too busy and couldn't help you. Worst hotel experience I've ever had here, and will never book with them again.

We arrived around 6:00 PM to find the front desk area abandoned. There was no sign indicating they’d be back or any way to contact them. After 30 minutes of searching and trying to call the local number, we finally found an employee in the laundry area. She treated us rudely and was unhelpful. I asked for the manager’s phone number and was told I couldn’t call him. Eventually the front desk clerk showed up and was also very rude. It took another 10 minutes before she actually gave us our keys, even though we’d completed electronic registration. The next morning I asked to speak to the manager and was told he would call me. I’m still waiting for that call. The floor in our room had not been vacuumed after the last guest and there was an abundance of mold in the shower/tub area.

Fantastic breakfast offered at this property. Breakfast staff were amazing and on top of everything from keeping the area clean to refilling items. We stayed when there was a big group there at the same time - was worried there wouldn't be much choice at breakfast, but you would never know it! The rooms are moderate and showing their age. It would be great to have usb charging ports available.

This La Quinta has quickly become my favorite place to stay in Fargo. It’s clean and convenient to the all the attractions in south Fargo. They have a wonderful breakfast to go along with clean rooms and friendly staff.

We were able to check in quickly and get to our room and sleep comfortably.plenty of towels for the 4 of us. Breakfast was much better than anticipated. Waffles, cereal, yogurt, muffins. Cleaning crew was spot on!
