Schöne Lage, aber zu wenig Sonnenliegen am Outdoor Pool, wir mussten eine Stunde vor der Öffnung uns um freie Plätze “kämpfen”, der Strand am Meer ist nicht wirklich privat, zu wenig Personal, Bar am Pool war meistens zu.

An excellent hotel on the Makarska riviera. We stayed in a superior suite with sea view, and the room was spacious, well appointed, well soundproofed and tranquil, with a superb view across the whole bay. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. Despite my concerns over parking, we had space every day of our 1 week stay. The buffet breakfast was excellent...lots of choice and well presented. My only gripe was the fight for loungers by the pool each morning, which perhaps could be alleviated if the 'private' beach didn’t cost 10 euro per sunbed and was exclusively for hotel guests, since this wasn't the case. However, everything else about the hotel was great, including the indoor pool and gym, the check in and out process, and the hotel's location above the bustling seafront bars and restaurants a short walk from Makarska's marina and town centre.

Hotel Park har en fin beliggenhet nær stranden. Uteområdet ved bassenget er relativt lite og alle solsengene var stort sett okkupert av håndklær før frokost hver morgen. Vi brukte ikke bassenget selv, men tenker hotellet hadde vært tjent på å gjøre noe med dette. Er så tåpelig hvordan folk oppfører seg på ferie.. Frokosten var bra og hadde et variert tilbud (anbefaler å spise før kl 09). Bassengbaren var bemannet av en veldig hyggelig betjening og hadde greie priser, men kunne godt holdt åpen lengre enn til kl 22 på kveldene. Treningsrommet åpnet dessverre alt for sent (tror det åpnet kl 08:30), så det er vanskelig å få benyttet det før frokost. Rommet vårt i 4. etasje var stort og fint, med utsikt mot de høye fjellene Makarska ligger under. Da vi dro benyttet vi hotellets taxi-tjeneste og ble kjørt i en veldig fin og moderne bil til Split av en hyggelig sjåfør. Hadde egentlig planlagt å ta en Uber, men det var ikke så lett å oppdrive i Makarska.

Good location on beach in Makarska. Pool closed at 6pm the sun doesn’t set till after 8.30 and it’s over 30 deg each day this does not make sense in peak summer time. Also the pool water is too warm it’s like a spa. None of the pool fountains work. Staff stand around chatting at breakfast when they could lay out the pool deck chairs instead of watch guests take deck chairs of the pile and place around the pool. Staff overall need a course on hospitality. Niko was the only staff member that seemed to be working and also engaging with guests which was lovely to see. Will probably try a neighbouring property in future. Over priced for the service and facilities.

Really nice hotel ! They upgraded me (I believe because I came late and had to sleep in the car because of some flight issues) and the room was huge with a great view ! Loved this place , gym big breakfast selection

Bra hotell i lagom avstånd till det mesta. Stranden vid hotellet är väldigt smal och blir snabbt full. Bättre att ligga vid poolen och sedan gå ner och doppa sig i havet.

Det visade sig att hotellet varken hade poolbar med lunchmöjlighet el roomservice förrän 1/6. Vi anlände 24/5. Det borde stått på hemsidan. Det var inga bra möjligheter till dusch och ombyte inför hemresan. Det fanns men var så dåligt planerat. Inga separata ombytesrum för män och kvinnor. Blött överallt och dåligt med skåp. Men vänlig och trevlig hotellpersonal. De gjorde verkligen sitt bästa.

Zimmer waren sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstücksangebot war Top! Die Lage direkt an der Promenade/Strand. Würden es wieder buchen. Einzig nervend die Liegen am Pool werden früh am Morgen schon reserviert und teils lag da nach dem Mittag immer noch keiner. Aber das Problem hat wohl jedes Hotel.

Truly a great hotel with amazing staff. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with many options available. Servers work hard and are always on top of everything. Make sure to leave a tip in the tip box located by the exit of the dining room. Rooms very clean and comfortable. One thing I did not like is the fact that they charge for the beach chairs even if you are a hotel guest! We would definitely recommend Hotel Park to friends and family.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was spacious and had a great view over the ocean. There was so many breakfast options including gluten/ dairy free which was great. The pool and facilities were great and the beach is also right below the hotel. It was very quick and easy to get to from the bus station. Would recommend this hotel

Great location to head to the beach. Well sized rooms and the so many options for breakfast! Id booked this hotel because it had a bathtub but unfortunately the water from the taps really isn’t warm enough for these, as well as this the toilet at least in my room continually was gushing water which made noise all throughout the night. Staff said they would look into it but nothing was recorded down. Really wasn’t worth the price after all of this, with no refund offered.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location . Room was clean and very generous in size and proportions . The only downsize is the accessing the pool deck lounges in the morning and if you don’t get to them before or right on 8.00am then your access will be zero. Also the prepayment of 20 euro for each beach towel is excessive . Other than that a good Orion if you are considering staying in this location . Breakfast choice is plentiful anc included in the price

Good location on beach in Makarska. Pool closed at 6pm the sun doesn’t set till after 8.30 and it’s over 30 deg each day this does not make sense in peak summer time. Also the pool water is too warm it’s like a spa. None of the pool fountains work. Staff stand around chatting at breakfast when they could lay out the pool deck chairs instead of watch guests take deck chairs of the pile and place around the pool. Staff overall need a course on hospitality. Niko was the only staff member that seemed to be working and also engaging with guests which was lovely to see. Will probably try a neighbouring property in future. Over priced for the service and facilities.

The breakfast and food at this hotel are exceptionally good. The location is also wonderful: the marina is walkable but far enough to feel separate and the beautiful beach could not be closer. Unfortunately the hotel is a bit let down by the bar and staff. It’s never staffed so difficult to get a drink and at dinner the only option to eat is inside a room with curtains to close off the beautiful view. We took our plates to sit outside (with permission) and this made it next to impossible to then get drinks. Reception staff are sympathetic but won’t pass so much as a glass out from the bar when there is no one is around, I suspect because they are equally frustrated. There is a shop under the hotel that is cheaper than a bar but more expensive than a normal supermarket and most people then just get cans or bottles from there and bring takeaway to the side of the pool. This is understandable and ok but not what you’d expect to get at a 4* hotel. The views from our room were incredible (504) and we had a duplex which was for 3 of us but could easily fit a family of 5 or even 6 (2 bathrooms and lots of space). The hotel Pool was shut for our first day which was very disappointing but staff didn’t seem empowered to do anything - an offer of a complimentary drink voucher or even a sense of apology would have gone a long way.

Amazing Makarska beachside hotel with lovely refreshing pool and seconds away from long pebble beach along which there were loads of restaurants and bars. Had good size beautifully positioned seaview balcony with agave-style plants overlooking the pool and the sea. We booked half board option and had great buffet food for breakfast and evening. Had not known how full of eating options this area was, but no regrets as high food standards at hotel ! Makarska was a thriving place with a great old town, harbour with boat trips etc, and great coastal paths (eg.we walked to Tucepi one day.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was spacious and had a great view over the ocean. There was so many breakfast options including gluten/ dairy free which was great. The pool and facilities were great and the beach is also right below the hotel. It was very quick and easy to get to from the bus station. Would recommend this hotel

Bra hotell väldigt nära stranden och strandpromenaden, hissen går ända ner så man kommer i princip ut direkt på strandpromenaden. Litet minilivs där nere, och många restauranger och barer. Fler mataffärer en promenad bort. Poolområdet var helt okej men solstolarna blev paxade kl 08 på morgonen och var sedan upptagna mestadels av dagen. Vi hade halvpension, frukosten var bra en middagen (typ buffé) var mindre bra så gå hellre ut på restaurang då det finns många nära. Rummet var bra, vi hade utsikt mot bergen, vårt resesällskap mot havet men då var deras rum dyrare. Liten kyl och vattenkokare med te och kaffe på rummet.
