Not enough sunbeds, guests come and place their towels at six am and then you have to argue with them to take a sunbed although there is signs all over the hotel that state you can not reserve sunbeds. The staff is unhelpful in these situations and expect you to argue with other guests in order to be able to enjoy the beach. I have came to this property at least ten times and it keeps going downhill. As far as the buffet for dinner, you have precisely two main courses one of which consists of pork usually which isn’t the best as not every guest eats pork. You do get a pizza station and a huge salad bar which is nice. Overall, I have been visiting this hotel since they have opened, but as of late I am not impressed especially considering the cost of stay.

Nice location and nice hotel. I would recommend especially for families with children. I paid for 3 rooms and I discovered that the cheaper rooms had better bathrooms. I stayed in the room with full sea view and we had a bath instead of shower and there was an old bath/shower curtain. I wasn’t expecting something like this in a 5* hotel. The cheaper rooms with town view have very nice showers ( plus partial sea view). Another surprise was that we were allowed only one pool towel per person and that we needed a special talon to exchange for a towel. I would recommend to take your own towels if you are planning to visit this hotel. Otherwise fantastic hotel. Great service, Prosecco breakfast and huge choice of food and drinks. Local herbal brandy to help with digestion was a nice touch. Great value for money.

Exceptional hotel and team. We were travelling with youngsters through Croatia. The kids corner/play centre was wonderful. Kids were too spoilt. Huge huge games area, organised kids programmes, board games and library . A big thankyou to the doing ladies Iva, Nika, and team. My young ladies were felt very welcomed because of your teams professionalism and kindness . Trully a magical week for our family. Wonderful food choices, location, pool and gym facilities. I will be returning.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very nice. There were many options for enjoying the beauty poolside, as well as by the beach. The hotel is on the beach boardwalk with many opportunities for eating out.

Beautiful new property, well appointed and modern. Also very accessable as we were travelling with someone in our party that uses a walker. Hotel accommodated with the room assigned to her near elevators. Food was very good whatever we ordered. Our favourite was the roof top restaurant for dinner and bar. Great sunset views and reasonably priced menu with great selections.

Le sobra una estrella. Personal atento, buenas instalaciones. Piscina interior con agua fría. Buffet muy variado, pero de calidad media-baja, no acorde a un 5*. No incluye agua en las cenas. Cobran 9€ por aparcar en la calle, o 15€ en parking cubierto.

Luxury family child friendly hotel, chic interior and lovely pool by the sea. The breakfast was excellent, even a glass of bubbly. We had a room with partial seaview, so it was on the first floor and looking into a ramp of some kind, so not the best view. The room was beautifully clean, and spacious. Bed mattress a little firm. Markaska had beautiful beaches, Rocky rather than sandy, but the sea was gorgeous, lots of paddle boards, jet skis and watersports to entertain and the beaches exceptionally clean, the locals obviously take great pride in the area. When we arrived at the weekend it was very busy with tourists, and full of families and small children. This includes the hotel, not a place to go if you are looking for peace and quiet, it is definitely a more family oriented hotel and location. With kids club, noisy aqua aerobics classes in the pool and the Heath and wellness centre still had lots of little kids running around in the pool, sauna and whirlpool. Staff did their best to enforce rules but parents weren’t really bothered! On the whole it was a great stay, as a couple with no kids we just had to find our quiet spot and luckily opted for BB only so escaped in the evenings. Big thank you to the staff though, they were great and obviously work really hard.

The room we were given, the bathroom had an extremely foul smell. We called someone up and the worker said not to go inside the bathroom as there was some plumbing problem. I expected to be moved to another room. They never called to arrange the transfer so I called to get a new room. They placed us in a small, dark room that was clearly inferior to the one we had, and it had no balcony like our original room. The girl at the front desk had the nerve to argue with me about this and finally, she managed to place us in a similar room. Poor customer service, the front desk employees seem annoyed when you ask them for things, not a luxury experience at all. The pool area was good, the breakfast was very good. Rooms did not lock from inside, no locks on door, so my son wandered out when sleep walking. Thankfully we caught him in the hallways. Doors should be able to lock.

Vi bodde två vuxna och två barn på Aminess Khalani Hotel en vecka i juli 2025. Hotellet är modernt, lyxigt och mycket fräscht – det känns som ett riktigt femstjärnigt boende på många sätt. Men tyvärr finns det också några saker som drar ner helhetsupplevelsen. Plus: • Väldigt fint och rent hotell, stora rum med modern inredning • Daglig påfyllning av vattenflaskor på rummet • Poolhanddukar ingår • Gratis solstolar både vid pool och hav (men – se nedan!) • Havet ligger nära och är lättillgängligt • Fantastisk barnklubb med engagerad och trevlig personal • Stor och god frukostbuffé med mycket att välja på Minus: • Nästan alla solstolar vid poolen och havet är “paxade” redan vid 08.00. Du måste alltså vara uppe väldigt tidigt om du vill ha en plats, vilket känns tråkigt på semestern • Rökning med vape tillåts vid frukostområdet, vilket förstör upplevelsen för icke-rökare • Städpersonalen vid poolområdet var stundtals otrevliga. En av dem gjorde även en olämplig kommentar om könsroller – inte acceptabelt på ett hotell av denna standard Sammanfattning: Vi hade en fin vecka och skulle kunna tänka oss att återvända – men nu vet vi vad vi ska vara förberedda på. Förvänta dig ett snyggt hotell med fina faciliteter, men räkna inte med att få en solstol om du inte går upp i ottan.

Nice stay. Lovely location right on the beach with crystal clear water. Easily walkable to the town centre along a promenade with bars, restaurants and shops. Roof top bar was lovely. Live music on in the nights and a pianist in the main atrium. The architecture of the hotel was beautiful. Plenty of choice on the buffet although the food was a little cold on times. Drinks expensive. 6 euros for a large bottle of water at dinner. Beds quite uncomfortable. Bed frames seemed like they needed tightening. They made a terrible noise everytime you moved. Air con in the room very poor. We phoned reception to complain and they sent someone to have a look. The filter was blocked so he took away to clean and bring back. Air con was still poor afterwards so checked the filter myself and it was still dirty. Cleaned it properly myself and the air con was better but still not great. Set it to 19c minimum on day 1 and by the final day of our stay it had reached 21degrees even with the doors kept closed all week. Staff were polite but not that attentive for drinks at dinner. They would see you walk in and make eye contact and then not bother coming to see you for drinks for like 15 minutes. Had to call them over for drinks. Nice stay in a lovely area. Not sure we would return though. Was nice but felt it needed a bit extra to justify the 5 star rating.

Hotel Anlage super schön - aber vom Luxus weit entfernt der kids Club war für Kinder ab 4/5 nichts mehr ( aber kann bei anderen Kindern natürlich unterschiedlich sein mein Sohn 6 keine Stunde langweile - mein kleiner 2 Jahre Bälle Bad toll ) Service schlecht man hat länger gewartet bis man bedient wurde an den liegen oder man ist selber vor bis dann jemand kam. Sauberkeit kann man anhand meiner Bilder sehen was die Zimmer angeht - frische Handtücher gab es täglich gewischt gesaugt oder gefegt wurde glaub gar nicht es war leicht ekelhaft Toiletten wurden glaub nur so abgewischt ohne Desinfektion täglich oder sonstiges Putzmittel ( trotz Trinkgeld was man den Frauen in die Hand gegeben hat ) wir waren an mehreren Orten und als einheimische für mich mit Abstand das schlechteste. Sein Geld ist es nicht wert. Personal vom Hotel eher nicht mein Geschmack - aber die an der Bar am Pool und im Restaurant super freundlich. Also für uns würde das nicht nochmal in frage kommen bei knapp 5.000€ für 7 Tage kann man in anderen EU Ländern um Klassen besseres erwarten. Danke trotzdem für die Erfahrung. Ich finde trotzdem jeder sollte seine eigene Erfahrung machen. Die Bilder waren 2 Tage nacheinander. Und noch etwas Kinder sind mehrfach ausgerutscht und haben sich verletzt so rutschig war es - plus 2 erwachsene die wir selber gesehen haben. Lg

Personal grundsätzlich sehr freundlich, Zimmer sehr sauber, Service Personal war etwas überfordert und die Reinigung der Tische war nicht sehr zufriedenstellend. Die Sessel teilweise sehr dreckig. Schade, aber das Buffet war sehr schön angerichtet und toll dekoriert. Wellness war für die Hotelgröße etwas zu klein und die Reinigung müsste öfters gemacht werden. Massage war sehr gut. Die Liftanzahl war auch zu wenig, wir hatten oft lange Wartezeiten.

Very nice hotel! Also the rooms are very beautiful! Service at the Lobby very nice! The only thing which was bad is the room cleaning and the service on the pool.. also the beach is horrible its not privat and as a hotel guest you dont find any space

Luxury family child friendly hotel, chic interior and lovely pool by the sea. The breakfast was excellent, even a glass of bubbly. We had a room with partial seaview, so it was on the first floor and looking into a ramp of some kind, so not the best view. The room was beautifully clean, and spacious. Bed mattress a little firm. Markaska had beautiful beaches, Rocky rather than sandy, but the sea was gorgeous, lots of paddle boards, jet skis and watersports to entertain and the beaches exceptionally clean, the locals obviously take great pride in the area. When we arrived at the weekend it was very busy with tourists, and full of families and small children. This includes the hotel, not a place to go if you are looking for peace and quiet, it is definitely a more family oriented hotel and location. With kids club, noisy aqua aerobics classes in the pool and the Heath and wellness centre still had lots of little kids running around in the pool, sauna and whirlpool. Staff did their best to enforce rules but parents weren’t really bothered! On the whole it was a great stay, as a couple with no kids we just had to find our quiet spot and luckily opted for BB only so escaped in the evenings. Big thank you to the staff though, they were great and obviously work really hard.

The room we were given, the bathroom had an extremely foul smell. We called someone up and the worker said not to go inside the bathroom as there was some plumbing problem. I expected to be moved to another room. They never called to arrange the transfer so I called to get a new room. They placed us in a small, dark room that was clearly inferior to the one we had, and it had no balcony like our original room. The girl at the front desk had the nerve to argue with me about this and finally, she managed to place us in a similar room. Poor customer service, the front desk employees seem annoyed when you ask them for things, not a luxury experience at all. The pool area was good, the breakfast was very good. Rooms did not lock from inside, no locks on door, so my son wandered out when sleep walking. Thankfully we caught him in the hallways. Doors should be able to lock.

Beautiful new hotel with spacious, clean and well designed rooms. The breakfast buffet is great. Definitely make your way to the rooftop bar for drinks at sunset. Parking was covenient and on site. Enjoyed the walking paths on the shore with many dining options.

Nice stay. Lovely location right on the beach with crystal clear water. Easily walkable to the town centre along a promenade with bars, restaurants and shops. Roof top bar was lovely. Live music on in the nights and a pianist in the main atrium. The architecture of the hotel was beautiful. Plenty of choice on the buffet although the food was a little cold on times. Drinks expensive. 6 euros for a large bottle of water at dinner. Beds quite uncomfortable. Bed frames seemed like they needed tightening. They made a terrible noise everytime you moved. Air con in the room very poor. We phoned reception to complain and they sent someone to have a look. The filter was blocked so he took away to clean and bring back. Air con was still poor afterwards so checked the filter myself and it was still dirty. Cleaned it properly myself and the air con was better but still not great. Set it to 19c minimum on day 1 and by the final day of our stay it had reached 21degrees even with the doors kept closed all week. Staff were polite but not that attentive for drinks at dinner. They would see you walk in and make eye contact and then not bother coming to see you for drinks for like 15 minutes. Had to call them over for drinks. Nice stay in a lovely area. Not sure we would return though. Was nice but felt it needed a bit extra to justify the 5 star rating.

Nice location and nice hotel. I would recommend especially for families with children. I paid for 3 rooms and I discovered that the cheaper rooms had better bathrooms. I stayed in the room with full sea view and we had a bath instead of shower and there was an old bath/shower curtain. I wasn’t expecting something like this in a 5* hotel. The cheaper rooms with town view have very nice showers ( plus partial sea view). Another surprise was that we were allowed only one pool towel per person and that we needed a special talon to exchange for a towel. I would recommend to take your own towels if you are planning to visit this hotel. Otherwise fantastic hotel. Great service, Prosecco breakfast and huge choice of food and drinks. Local herbal brandy to help with digestion was a nice touch. Great value for money.

Location is great. Right on beach and 30 minute walk from makarska centre along the prom filled with shops and restaurants. First time trip and so pleased we will return. Hotel is beautiful. Rooms and facilities are brilliant including the pool area. We were in b&b and breakfast was lovely.

Stället var väldigt fint och jag trivdes bra. Det ligger fint till längs med vattnet. De problem jag stötte på var för det första trådlösa nätet var riktigt dåligt. Förutom det så var det kaos nere vid solstolarna med en massa folk som reserverade och blockerade hela stranden.

Nice resort style hotel. Great breakfast and pools. Front desk stuff needs to be a bit friendlier and more professional. Didn’t feel welcomed at check in. Dinner service was disappointing. Room and amenities were nice.

We love this hotel and the Pool is great and the gameroom was amazing for my kids.The food is delicious and the staff is exellent exept the check-in was not nice. The lady that checked us in was rude and most likely assumed that we didn’t belong to a 5 star hotel as we arrived in an old car from Bosnia. She kept telling me that my room I chose was just basic and she made me feel terrible about not adding my son to the reservation. She made me pay for an 8 year old almost $300 extra for 3 nights. She kept indicating that the price of the room is per person. We love this hotel and my kids especially and our stay would have been wonderful all around had it not been for our disappointing check in experience.

Not enough sunbeds, guests come and place their towels at six am and then you have to argue with them to take a sunbed although there is signs all over the hotel that state you can not reserve sunbeds. The staff is unhelpful in these situations and expect you to argue with other guests in order to be able to enjoy the beach. I have came to this property at least ten times and it keeps going downhill. As far as the buffet for dinner, you have precisely two main courses one of which consists of pork usually which isn’t the best as not every guest eats pork. You do get a pizza station and a huge salad bar which is nice. Overall, I have been visiting this hotel since they have opened, but as of late I am not impressed especially considering the cost of stay.

Amazing staff and very hospitable. We travelled with our two young children both under 5 years of age and the staff were attentive and helpful from the bar and pool staff to the restaurant and games room staff. My kids felt at ease and would love to return again. Great amenities and parking facility which made this hotel a great choice.

The staff made the difference. Even though it was reaching the end of the season, the employees reflected happiness, caring, and fun interaction with guests - especially front counter and concierge team. Food quality was good. May be a little healthier food can be offered. Overall, great experience. I stayed there for 9 days. Happy to do it again

Top Class Hotel..Everything was Excellent including food, facilities, wellness centre and rooms..I sent a message to the hotel before arrival requesting high floors and rooms next to each other, and i also told them the trip was to celebrate our wedding anniversary..all my requests were granted..we received 6th floor rooms next to each other and a bottle of champagne, and a cake..compliments of the hotel Genersl Manager..a really nice touch, started the holiday off nicely..Also a special mention to Mario in the restaurant for looking after us throughout our stay..Thankyou to all for a Top Holiday

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very nice. There were many options for enjoying the beauty poolside, as well as by the beach. The hotel is on the beach boardwalk with many opportunities for eating out.

I made a reservation, when I arrived at the hotel to check in I had to pay another €100 deposit on my reservation. At check out, I paid the agreed amount from the reservation, but the deposit I left at the beginning is still blocked by the hotel. I have 700 euros reserved for 14 days, which I am waiting for the Hotel to release. The hotel is ok, the hotel staff is ok, big crowd at check-in and check-out, somehow everything goes slowly. The rooms are good, big and clean, but somehow something is missing. The biggest complaint about the paid dinner is that you don't have a drink and you have to pay extra for that in the cafe within the hotel, where sour water costs 6 Euros and all other drinks are very expensive. For a room where you pay 310 euros a day and not having a drink with dinner is really bad. The hotel is more in the range of 4 stars or 5. Everything is somehow artificial, you don't feel like you are in a 5-star hotel. Unfortunately, I do not intend to visit the mentioned hotel again.

Markaska had beautiful beaches, Rocky rather than sandy, but the sea was gorgeous, lots of paddle boards, jet skis and watersports to entertain and the beaches exceptionally clean, the locals obviously take great pride in the area. When we arrived at the weekend it was very busy with tourists, and full of families and small children. This includes the hotel, not a place to go if you are looking for peace and quiet, it is definitely a more family oriented hotel and location. With kids club, noisy aqua aerobics classes in the pool and the Heath and wellness centre still had lots of little kids running around in the pool, sauna and whirlpool. Staff did their best to enforce rules but parents weren’t really bothered! On the whole it was a great stay, as a couple with no kids we just had to find our quiet spot and luckily opted for BB only so escaped in the evenings. Big thank you to the staff though, they were great and obviously work really hard.

We had a room with partial seaview, so it was on the first floor and looking into a ramp of some kind, so not the best view. The room was beautifully clean, and spacious. Bed mattress a little firm. Beautiful new hotel with spacious, clean and well designed rooms. The breakfast buffet is great. Definitely make your way to the rooftop bar for drinks at sunset. Parking was covenient and on site. Enjoyed the walking paths on the shore with many dining options.

Great overall family hotel. Certainly family hotel rather than couples but I imagine out of school holidays the hotel would suit everyone Half board was really good and room with sea view is really the best option Location is good, slightly away from town and a easy walk in Really busy during our stay so hotel does feel very busy around the pool and beach Great roof top bar Special shout out to Klara and Petra who were fabulous in the restaurant

Nice stay. Lovely location right on the beach with crystal clear water. Easily walkable to the town centre along a promenade with bars, restaurants and shops. Roof top bar was lovely. Live music on in the nights and a pianist in the main atrium. The architecture of the hotel was beautiful. Plenty of choice on the buffet although the food was a little cold on times. Drinks expensive. 6 euros for a large bottle of water at dinner. Beds quite uncomfortable. Bed frames seemed like they needed tightening. They made a terrible noise everytime you moved. Air con in the room very poor. We phoned reception to complain and they sent someone to have a look. The filter was blocked so he took away to clean and bring back. Air con was still poor afterwards so checked the filter myself and it was still dirty. Cleaned it properly myself and the air con was better but still not great. Set it to 19c minimum on day 1 and by the final day of our stay it had reached 21degrees even with the doors kept closed all week. Staff were polite but not that attentive for drinks at dinner. They would see you walk in and make eye contact and then not bother coming to see you for drinks for like 15 minutes. Had to call them over for drinks. Nice stay in a lovely area. Not sure we would return though. Was nice but felt it needed a bit extra to justify the 5 star rating.

Location is great. Right on beach and 30 minute walk from makarska centre along the prom filled with shops and restaurants. First time trip and so pleased we will return. Hotel is beautiful. Rooms and facilities are brilliant including the pool area. We were in b&b and breakfast was lovely.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very nice. There were many options for enjoying the beauty poolside, as well as by the beach. The hotel is on the beach boardwalk with many opportunities for eating out.

Exceptional hotel and team. We were travelling with youngsters through Croatia. The kids corner/play centre was wonderful. Kids were too spoilt. Huge huge games area, organised kids programmes, board games and library . A big thankyou to the doing ladies Iva, Nika, and team. My young ladies were felt very welcomed because of your teams professionalism and kindness . Trully a magical week for our family. Wonderful food choices, location, pool and gym facilities. I will be returning.

Personal grundsätzlich sehr freundlich, Zimmer sehr sauber, Service Personal war etwas überfordert und die Reinigung der Tische war nicht sehr zufriedenstellend. Die Sessel teilweise sehr dreckig. Schade, aber das Buffet war sehr schön angerichtet und toll dekoriert. Wellness war für die Hotelgröße etwas zu klein und die Reinigung müsste öfters gemacht werden. Massage war sehr gut. Die Liftanzahl war auch zu wenig, wir hatten oft lange Wartezeiten.

The place is fantastic with one exception - the temperature control - or lack there of! Was told nicely by staff heating and cooling was controlled centrally and the whole hotel - or at least all the rooms could either be heated - so have warm air pumped into the room and temp was therefore between 25-27 degrees or could have cooling system switched on, but it need to be done at central level for the whole hotel - the thermostats in our rooms were basically decorative. Everything else was brilliant, food was great with lots of options, place was beautifully decorated, pool areas were plentiful and stylish, place was well equipped, staff were friendly - nothing but praise - apart for the lack of temperature control.
