This trip there was a noticbale differece from past trips. The room wasn't clean, the elevators were hardly in service, one was completely down and the other broke down for a few hours one evening forcing all guest to use stairs. Front desk staff were very nice, that was the only saving grace.

The people that worked there were great, but they were having problems with their heat, and it was absolutely freezing inside.You couldn't even eat breakfas in tbe dining area. Pool and hot tub were closed.

Stayed on the fifth floor and the elevator overheated due to the kids going up and down. The wifi was not working at one point and when they fixed it you could only use one device in the room. Very inconvenient when you have more than one person that needs to use the wifi. Housekeeping trying to get into the room without knocking not once but twice. Then blamed front desk for telling them we had checked out. The front desk had no idea what the housekeeper said as she did not have me checked out. The phone in the room was not working.

Very quiet and comfortable. Very good staff, helpful and friendly. There was a bit of a smell when we first got into our room but I think it was stale air, no air movement for awhile. It went away fairly quickly when we turned on the air system. The bathroom could use a update. Overall very pleased though.

Paper thin walls. Bathrooms back up to each other, unpleasant sounds carry from one room to the next. They accept pets, which is nice except a dog spent the night barking. Overall, not recommended!

Staff, especially the front desk assistant manager Jennifer was amazing. She was friendly, curtious and helpful. There was an issue with my comformaton from expedia. Within a matter of time things were handled and rectified. I was grateful for her help. Overall I was very pleased with the room, cleanliness and breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The entire staff was amazing and very professional. They always greeted me were very polite. I felt like I was at home. The breakfast buffet was amazing, you had so much to choose from. The little snacks and hot coffee always fresh. They even made little travel bags up for you. I highly recommend this hotel and I will always stay there when I am up in that area.

The person at the front desk, Chris, was the most unfriendly and unwelcoming person I've ever experienced at a hotel. He seemed like I was a bother that he had to get rid of. He never mentioned what time breakfast was, how to access the WiFi or even say enjoy your stay. Things are just common at every other hotel I've ever stayed It will be back to the Holiday Inn Express for my future visits to Plattsburgh.

Very clean room and hotel, including main lobby and dining area! The staff is so friendly and courteous! The complimentary breakfast is delicious with a lot of variety and options. They even offer bags of water with an apple and bagel for the road! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back again!
