Motel 6-London, ON - Ontario

One elevator didn't work all weekend, the 2nd elevator didn't work Sunday. Had to carry out stuff down the stairwell. There were 2 dogs barking all night, the smell of weed smoke through the hallways.

Needed a refresh, perhaps a coat of paint and a good cleaning of the carpets. Elevator was also out of service. Staff however were top notch, helpful and courteous.

staff was very helpful. Wish they had towels by the pool, but staff was quick to get some when asked.

I chose this Motel because the pool opened early at 7a.m. I was disappointed there wasn't an EV charger at the Motel. There are going to more and more Electric Vehicles and not having one or two charging portals is definitely a deterrent from staying there. One other cheap and easy fix is a clock on the wall in the pool area. Otherwise clean, comfortable and friendly service.

Staff was very friendly. There was no breakfast, only coffee in the lobby.

One of the elevators is out of work, while the other one takes long time. Coffee machine is only at the reception till 11:00 am. Air conditioning and heating is good.

We had a great stay! Clean rooms, loved that our little dog could come. Great service. Super friendly front desk staff. Pool was amazing. Only downfall is we had to run back to room to get towels for the pool, there was none at the pool. Other than that, was great. Will definitely be back!!!

Everything went well but when swimming it seemed as tho no one keeps up the pool. Many large clumps of hair and PH was way off. No chlorine or salts detected in the water. I am not sure how I got welts on my face but it was either bacteria from the pool or bugs somewhere. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Staff is always friendly. The room is always clean. Our blow dryer wasn’t working and they sent us a new one right away. I love that they are pet friendly.

The room looked grundgy, thin little blanket...shert were stained and carpets and floors were dirty... not sure if I'll ever stay at a motel 6 again.

Checking good and fast, But the room was dirty the blankets look like they haven't been clean The washroom, terrible filty.. Under the banity and around the toilet bowl you could see and smell the urine I make a complain and they change the blankets but didn't do anything in the washroom. The room itself smell dump and moo I would never stayed there again.

The hotel has been neglected over the years. It needs some serious renovations. A coat of paint would go a long way here. There were so many stains on the walls. There were cigarette burn marks in the counter, cuts in the desk, wonky light (goes on and off by itself), damaged baseboards. Pulling the door behind you didn’t lock it. You had to jiggle the handle a certain way. The gaps around the door were significant. We joked that it was our night light. I believe this is a fire code violation. We had cats so we wiped down the surfaces. Let’s just say it wasn’t very clean. We used over 20 Lysol wipes. We were woken up at 3am with a guest trying to enter the room. In the morning a gentleman from the hotel came to the room to ask me who I was and when I checked in. Hmmmm….shouldn’t you know? I always ask myself if I would stay again. It’s a big NO. I’ve stayed at Motel 6’s before and they were great. I’ve paid less and had better. This location missed the mark.

The room was dirty (I have pictures to prove it), the hallways were super noisy at all hours of the night, the safety lock on the door was broken. Very dingy and musty. The air conditioner was a portable one that was being held together with duct tape and duct taped to the window. The bedding was not clean and we used sleeping bags to avoid touching the sheets. Definitely not worth the $182 we paid.

The rooms were worn and dirty. Maintenance has not shown up here in years. There was no tv remote. Toilet was clogged

When ac unit was turned on our room filled with cigarette smell to the point where my asthma was triggered. Staff brought us clean blankets but they smelled of cigarette smoke. Was very gross could definitely not recommend staying there

The washroom bath tab was in a very bad condition, towels were not enough and dirty..

The smell is bad, it’s not clean there, i barely used the washroom because its really dirty. Remote is missing the bedsheets smell bad. The elevator is not safe as the buttons are not working properly and they I don’t see their elevator license which supposed to be displayed LEGALLY. The staff however is nice but the hotel generally was not.

The room itself was decent, bed was stiff. Staff was kind and helpful. Elevator kind of worked. I suspect there are permanent residents on the first floor, just a guess. Parking lot is their front yard so to speak. Very commercial area. XXX club next door and storage of moving trucks lent to a seedy vibe. The rate isn't that cheap and "nicer" hotels next door too so kind of unexpected. I probably would not choose this again, but for a solo traveller for one night it wasn't terrible by any means.

Hotel is in major need of repairs. Only one of two elevators worked and it was hit and miss. The rooms are run down with cracks in the walls. Beds came with a bed sheet and a thin blanket. We had to turn the heat up just to stay warm. It’s good for a last minute booking but I’ll likely not stay there again.

Bed was hard. Room was very poor and old. TV didn't work well. Air didn't work wel.

Mattresses are not great and one of the two was awful. Shabby place. Seemed clean. Old pillows. Adequate but I’d rather not return!

Portable air conditioner with huge crack in window exhaust where the wind was howling in the middle night until morning! Cold breeze in room had to plug in portable heater I have stayed here several times but this time was not good!

Our stay was fine. It was clean and felt safe. The staff were nice, and friendly. The beds could be a little more comfortable. The channels on the TV were fair. The guests next door were noisy. The bath tub was spacious and deep. Overall it was a good value.

Staff are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are worn, but comfortable. The carpet and sink show a lot of age (warn spots and stains). There is no closet so you can not hang your cloths or coat, however a chair is provided so I used that to drape my coat over the back.

Room was ok. could have used another blanket as there was no bed spread, just a thin blanket. The staff was very courteous.

There were other guests on the 3rd floor who were partying in the rooms and hallways. The room had no screen on the window (3rd floor). There was no phone, no alarm clock, no coffee maker, no extra pillows or blankets. Very minimal room.

We had an issue with our room, that staff were wonderful and gave us a new room. The hotel is dated however very clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We were a group of nine women from Toronto, with a reservation for three rooms at the hotel. We planned our trip to participate in a cultural event in the city. Upon checking in, we discovered that the air conditioning in one of the rooms was not working. After much insistence and three hours after our arrival, we were moved to a new room. We attempted to use the hotel pool, but it was very dirty and filled with disrespectful teenagers playing ball while families and we were trying to cool off. The environment was unsanitary, the water was cloudy, and there was no staff presence to ensure a safe environment. We gave up on the pool and left. When we returned from the event at 11 pm, we couldn't access our rooms as the doors wouldn't open. From 11 pm to 1 am, we waited in the fourth-floor hallway while numerous attempts were made to access the rooms. The next morning, the manager did not offer the expected apologies for the inconvenience and disruption. Instead, he ignored our account, initially seemed unaware of the situation, despite being in contact with staff the previous night, and refused to offer any compensation for the trouble during our stay. We do not recommend this accommodation to anyone. The management appeared to be inadequate, irresponsible, and indifferent to the needs, rights, and expectations of the guests, which in our view is unacceptable. Terrible experience!

Had to wait 2 hours past check in time to finally get a room...

Staff was terrible. Forgot 2 pillows and they wouldn’t return calls for us to pick them up. They kept saying they look For them and never return a call

The staff member we dealt with, Rafi, was so nice and friendly and accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed and helped us get adjoining rooms. My mom and I were very pleased and impressed with the service. The rooms are nice and clean and we have no complaints. Thank you (:

The staff was friendly and amazing. The heds were extremly comfortable. Could use new pillows but although they were still comfortable. The coffee in the entrance in the morning was delicious not stale like other places I have stayed.

The location and pricing is what made us choose this location, not many rooms available in the area due to a big convention, big party in the hallway from 3am onward complained in the morning front desk said they weren't aware, amenities we're minimal, no breakfast area, rooms we're clean

Very close to White Oaks Mall and right off the 401 Window is broken and letting cold air in and cant control the thermostat

Property was alright for a basic hotel stay. Room was dated but appeared clean. No coffee makers in room but coffee was offered in the main lobby in the mornings, which I discovered on the last day of my stay. Would have loved to have had this information upon check in. Staff were friendly and helpful.
