Very comfortable well-appointed room with quality fixtures & fittings. The evening meal & breakfast were good. All in all a good value stay in a comfortable inn. Also useful, as we were travelling by car, was that the inn has a large, well lit car park with plenty of space. Recommended.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a friendly member of staff. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom had a wet room lovely bath and even a TV built in. In the bar area the bar staff were very attentive and cheerful, such a pleasure, and there was a lovely lounge style area in which you could enjoy your drink and chat. Later we went through to the dinning area that has a lovely feeling to it. The waitress was very attentive and so polite, talking time to chat to us. The food arrived quickly and was wonderful, well presented and fresh, just the right size of portions. The breakfast the following day didn't disappoint either, great choice and very fresh. Great way to start the day. We are looking forward to returning soon and would highly recommend a stay there to anyone. All the staff and management were a credit to the pub/hotel. 10/10

Stopped for one night after a brief break in mid wales but such a fab venue, so clean, smart and well presented with personable, professional staff and a great menu making it a really enjoyable stay.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Bears Paw. booking was easy and Hotels.com very helpful in how to upgrade room. We initially booked a standard room at a very good price especially as it included breakfast, However the standard bedrooms have a shower over the bath and so anyone with mobility issues might find this difficult to access. We paid for an upgrade and what a wonderful Superior room it was. Huge with a long bathroom with bath and a double shower and beautifully soft towels with shower gel body lotion and shampoo. The room was clean with amenities tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits plus bottles of spring water. The bed was large with beautiful and comfortable bedding. wifi on tap! None of this paying for it as happens in the basic hotels. The breakfast buffet was to die for and the serving staff were quick delivering the requested cooked meals. They even found alternative milk. Sadly we could only stay one night but would definitely return. The only thing that stopped me giving 5 * for cleaning was that along the wall in the bathroom were several pieces of stringy material persumably from the mop head, but we would hope the next visit would not include these.

Kayleigh and Charlotte and the whole front of house team and kitchen staff were wonderful, as were the service team, cleaning and prepping the rooms. The whole place was immaculate. As an “accidental” find , this was a pure joy!!!

We had a lovely 2 day stay with our dog at the Bear’s Paw. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and our dog even had a bonus sausage. We had an evening meal there and the food and service were excellent. Will definitely be back!

On this visit we stayed in room No.1. I'm sorry to say it was not suitable for letting. The very noisy extractor fand made sleeping impossible, it was hot and we had 2 dogs, you couldn't open the windows because of the noise whivh started at 5:20am, even with windows shut it droned really loudly.

Positives - Food was fantastic, hot rock steak and breakfast were top notch, staff friendly and helpful. Negatives - My room (no 10) was very close to the stairs and main door for the rest of the rooms so got woke up a few times as people banged door/wall walking past.

Very good quality food. Comfortable bar area, welcoming, clean and atmospheric. However, There was no heating in the bedroom (Radiators were jammed in the off position). Plus the w/c in the bathroom was so low to the floor, that it was nearly impossible to use.

Comfortable country inn. Not much around there besides countryside but they had some nice suggested walks. I had a good dinner in the pub, and the breakfast was quite nice. Good vegetarian options for both. The room was small but comfortable, quiet, and attractive.

Great place to stay! The food was delicious! Only issue was that the toilet in our room was wall hung very low. My husband is 6’ and I am 5’4” and we both found it too low for comfort.

Had an amazing time! We had to leave early due to plans. Kayleigh arranged for us to have breakfast early which was fantastic! Breakfast staff were by very happy to serve us earlier than the official time. 10/10

The food arrived quickly and was wonderful, well presented and fresh, just the right size of portions. The breakfast the following day didn't disappoint either, great choice and very fresh. Great way to start the day. We are looking forward to returning soon and would highly recommend a stay there to anyone. All the staff and management were a credit to the pub/hotel. 10/10

This is a truly lovely place to stay. It's so convenient for the M6 but quiet and rural. It's furbished to a very high standard and the rooms are superb with all amenities and comfy beds. The staff are simply lovely and couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. We've just stayed twice in one week (two different rooms), with breakfast and evening dining in their restaurant on both occasions. It's simply a brilliant find, great value for money and we'll definitely be back!

We stayed here as we don't like the big chain hotels, we prefer an independently owned as they have so much more character. We chose the Bear's Paw in order to visit Trentham Gardens and the National Memorial Arboretum even though both were a drive away. Lovely old inn, had a great dinner and breakfast here. We had our dog with us, who was welcome wherever we were.

This is lovely hotel situated in a small village between Sandbach and Crewe. Room was of high quality, comfy bed Very helpful and friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Making our stay exceptional. The food in the restaurant was of high quality, I had the sea bass, which was in bisque sauce with mussels. This was simply gorgeous. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel

Comfortable country inn. Not much around there besides countryside but they had some nice suggested walks. I had a good dinner in the pub, and the breakfast was quite nice. Good vegetarian options for both. The room was small but comfortable, quiet, and attractive.

The Bear's Paw is a lovely country pub hotel. We have dined here before but this was our first stay. The room was lovely, the breakfast was excellent. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. What more could you want? The location and setting in Warmingham is idyllic.

All the staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay . The room was of a high standard with some nice touches - very fluffy towels - comfortable bed - good range of tea and coffee. Pleasant area with nice walks - safe and quiet - ideal stop off if on long journeys North or South with relatively easy M6 access.

From arriving to departing staff were friendly and nothing too much trouble. Dog friendly with treats and a dog menu. Great food especially if you are celiac and need to follow a gluten free diet and breakfast the best I have ever had. Will definitely be going back.

Great hotel. Very comfortable. Extremely accommodating and friendly staff. Breakfast was slow, and evening meals very slow. Evening staff could do with a bit of training, rather than just trying to sell you more drinks. Minor things overall excellent accomodation and food.

We expected a quiet exclusive hotel considering the room and restaurant prices, and the fact it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. Sunday night dining was bedlam, really busy, noisy and crowded, Monday night was much quieter, but despite me telling the staff on several occasions that it was my husbands 70th birthday treat to be there, it was not acknowledged at all which was a bit disappointing. All the staff were friendly and helpful the food was good, catering from the usual pub food to a few higher end choices.

The Bears Paw is a lovely restaurant with rooms. The menu is extensive and the food tastes great! The staff are lovely! so friendly, so helpful, so kind, they made our stay special. The room was so comfortable, lovely bathroom, comfortable bed, plenty of space.
