The family that runs this place have the sweetest people. They make you feel right at home. The breakfast is great! Location is very convenient! Customer service is great! Things we didn't like and probably would keep us from going back. We stayed in the suite room on the rooftop. It had an amazing view and the room was beautiful, however it had 4 very narrow sets of steps going up and it wasn't fun with heavy suitcases. They really don't have anyone to help carry them either. Those steps were rough if your are not too used to a lot steps everyday. Everytime we wanted to go out, we thought twice about coming back up those steps. The room didn't have blinds only a few thin white drapes and the sun came straight on your face first think in the morning. The AC on the second bedroom didn't work either but we kept the door open so my kids room could cool down with ours. Overall was a great stay! If you don't mind a bright room and a lot of steps this is your place!

The owner of the property was lovely and incredibly friendly. The hotel is in location, easily walkable to the beach, markets and many restaurants. Breakfast was home made each morning which was a bonus. Parking was VERY HARD to find in the area, at no fault of the hotel, but worth mentioning for anyone renting a vehicle. Our room was on the small side and a tight fit for us to fit our suitcases and still have room to move to make our way around the room.

This hotel is close to the airport. Some of the staff are not entirely fluent in English, but they are friendly, and they speak enough to get by. Saint George Beach is just a couple of blocks away. Google Maps will lie and say it's 1.5 kms away. They will tell you to walk on the streets. Take the first left out of the lobby, then the next immediate left, and you're there.

Popi and the staff were awesome😀! We felt like family! Location was great! Shopping, beach, dock were all very close! Taxis no problem. Renting a car was a bit of a hassle no street or public parking available. If you’re willing to walk 20-30 minutes back to the hotel, you’ll find a parking space.

Be prepared to be treated like family. This is a cute little boutique hotel that has a little rooftop lounge and a daily free breakfast. The staff is very sweet at this family run hotel that is literally half a block from the beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kymata hotel. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and invited to have breakfast. There ard no elevators but assistance with luggage is available. The hotel is just a short walk to the port for lots of shopping and eating options. A lovely beach is just a 2 minute walk away. The hospitality of the staff and proprietors is what makes this place so special. I would highly recommend.

Hotel Kymata is utterly charming! The hotel is pretty and well-kept (as advertised, just a very short walk to the nearest beach, a slightly longer walk to many others!), and everyone who works there will do whatever they can to make your trip more pleasant. A couple of minor quibbles: best to get to breakfast early if you want your eggs hot (there are plenty of other options, though), and housekeeping does not come in on Sunday (so if you want clean towels for Sunday, best to request their delivery on Saturday). Also, they do not have an elevator -- but there will be someone to help you with your luggage. On the excellent side, they presented me with a curated list of recommended restaurants and interesting things to see that I very much appreciated. I would so happily stay at this hotel again!

It was easy to walk here from the port and to the beach. We also rented a buggy near the hotel to explore the island for the day. Breakfast was delicious! The pictures on Expedia are a bit misleading because what looks like a common area on a rooftop is just for one room. It wasn’t a big deal because there is a lovely spot nearby to watch the sunset.

We stayed in a very small room with a tiny balcony 0n 2nd floor. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. There is no elevator, or help, so we had to carry our own 25 - 35 pound suitcase up 2 flights of stairs.

We found bedbugs in our room. The staff was difficult to communicate with about the situation with and only gave us a 20€ « compensation » for downgrading our room (which we had to push/insist on +++) though ultimately refused to refund us at least 1-night, even went we went through Expedia customer service. I would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone.

Our first visit to Naxos and this hotel provided a great base near the beach. A traditional family run hotel and very friendly. The breakfasts were excellent with great home cooked bakes and plenty to choose from. The rooms are clean, basic and comfortable with a nice little balcony. We would be happy to come back here again.

Our room was very clean and the staff were exceedingly kind. We were unexpectedly late checking out and they accommodated us at no charge. The breakfasts were delicious as well. Absolutely would recommend.

The hotel staff was very kind and friendly. They made us feel like we were part of the family. The breakfast buffet was filled with fresh, homemade dishes every morning. The rooms were cleaned daily and the location was great. I highly recommend Hotel Kymata!

On a été reçu comme des Roi, la proprio nous attendais dehors. Bel hotel familial, ultra propre et a 2 pas de la plage et des restos. Cest un peu rustique et l'équipement est de base, mais je recommande. On a même eu droit a un cadeau a notre depart.

Fantastic stay - we were in the suite on the top floor and terrace with amazing views over the sea including the sunset. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Lovely small family run hotel, warm welcome on arrival, spotlessly clean throughout. Central location for Old Town/Harbour and St George’s Beach areas, 2 mins to beach, 10mins to Old Town. Nice breakfast of meats, cheeses, eggs and savoury pastries plus sweet pastries/cakes. Exceptionally good value, would definitely book again.

Hotel Kymata was a beautiful hotel to stay in. It was clean and bright. The staff was warm and inviting and I enjoyed speaking with them after my excursions. It was close to a beach and a short walk to the main town and pot area. I would highly recommend staying there, and would do so again given the chance.

The bad thing about this property the shower area we stayed in room 207 and the shower size was 24/26 inches we couldn’t even bend down On the positive side they made the best breakfast every day my hat go to ladies in kitchen

Breakfast was very good and a lot of different varieties of food. I only negative is be aware that the shower is very small and very tight. Otherwise everything else was excellent. Great food recommendations very nice staff. Thank you.

This hosts of this small hotel are so welcoming and warm. The breakfast is abundant and delicious. We had a fabulous room with a huge terrace at the top of the hotel with views of the most breath taking sunsets.

The hotel is lovely -- our room was on the top floor, with a balcony and wonderful view. And the owners and staff were all incredibly welcoming and helpful. It's also a great location, easily walkable to anywhere in Chora.

A lady came with us to show us the location of the start of a walking tour, carries our suitcase upstairs 2 floors, booked a tax for us, recommended restaurants… Wonderful swevice and an excelllent breakfast. We loved the place. And it is really well located, close enough yo the waterfront but not noisy.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kymata. I don't think the hotel could have been more conveniently located. It is just a few minutes and easy walk from the main port. The people are very friendly and helpful, giving us a detailed map of the island, organizing taxis and making reservations for us. The hospitality was out of this world (As was the breakfast). It felt as if we were being welcomed into someone's home. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Kymata! Perfect for anyone.

This was a great hotel in a great location. It seem to be a family owned hotel and we loved it! The family was so sweet and helpful. They arranged our rental car and we got a hug when we left. The breakfasts were homemade every morning and were delicious. Our room was fantastic and had a great view of the town and harbor. I would highly recommend this hotel - you will not be disappointed!

Nice little hotel half a block from the beach and water right in town. Great value for the money, breakfast was awesome, homemade Greek dishes made daily, so many options. But the real highlight of the place is the staff. Family run, wonderful friendly helpful people running this little gem. I would stay again

This is an amazing family run property. They were so welcoming and gracious. I highly recommend if you want a bed and breakfast feel. It’s conveniently located near the beach and the great beach front restaurants. It is also 10-15 mins walking distance from the ferry port and other restaurants in town. 10/10 experience!

Stay here if you’re looking for a clean and affordable option in Naxos! You will be comfortable, the location is convenient and the people are the BEST! After just 2 nights, I felt like family. They gave great recommendations for food and shopping AND helped with all our transfers between the airport, the ferry terminal and everywhere else we needed to get to. I love this place and will be back!!!

Hotel Kymata has my heart. My stay was absolutely incredible, their warm welcomes made me feel right at home as if I were with my own family. Perfect location just a short walk from the port, shops and restaurants and right next to the beach. For my first time in Greece and my first solo trip I couldn’t have asked for more, such friendly kind people to welcome me. Delicious breakfast made with magic hands and love every morning, I shed a tear leaving and saying goodbye. I can say Naxos and hotel Kymata will be on my summer list going forward, and can’t wait to bring my mom here to meet everyone. Thank you for the hospitality from the bottom of my heart. Hotel Kymata is a gem! We never knew anything about it but were delighted. They are a genuine family who are so committed, caring, clean and they have the BEST homemade breakfast. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the dock, through all the restaurants that are there, and then you discover a cozy corner. We loved our 3 day stay.

Just 200m from the beach! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming and so helpful. Felt very warm and comfortable. The street was safe and peaceful.

The warm and hospitality of the staff was amazing nothing was a bother and made me feel welcomed as if I was family. The location was good I liked how it was near the beach so I could go down for a swim it’s not deep but it cooled me off. Breakfast was nice good variety. It was walking distance to shops and to the bus stop to explore the island further. The only thing for me was the bed it was extremely hard and my back suffered I had trouble sleeping with my back pain other then that my stay was lovely

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kymata. I don't think the hotel could have been more conveniently located. It is just a few minutes and easy walk from the main port. The people are very friendly and helpful, giving us a detailed map of the island, organizing taxis and making reservations for us. The hospitality was out of this world (As was the breakfast). It felt as if we were being welcomed into someone's home. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Kymata! Perfect for anyone.

This hotel is in such a great location, we walked 2min to get to the beach and 4min to get to the town’s shopping and all restaurants. This hotel is so special, from the moment we walked in we felt as family. The staff and owners are so warm and welcoming and I have to add that their breakfast was the best.

Nice little hotel half a block from the beach and water right in town. Great value for the money, breakfast was awesome, homemade Greek dishes made daily, so many options. But the real highlight of the place is the staff. Family run, wonderful friendly helpful people running this little gem. I would stay again

Breakfast was very good and a lot of different varieties of food. I only negative is be aware that the shower is very small and very tight. Otherwise everything else was excellent. Great food recommendations very nice staff. Thank you.

Lovely small family run hotel, warm welcome on arrival, spotlessly clean throughout. Central location for Old Town/Harbour and St George’s Beach areas, 2 mins to beach, 10mins to Old Town. Nice breakfast of meats, cheeses, eggs and savoury pastries plus sweet pastries/cakes. Exceptionally good value, would definitely book again.

Hotel Kymata is utterly charming! The hotel is pretty and well-kept (as advertised, just a very short walk to the nearest beach, a slightly longer walk to many others!), and everyone who works there will do whatever they can to make your trip more pleasant. A couple of minor quibbles: best to get to breakfast early if you want your eggs hot (there are plenty of other options, though), and housekeeping does not come in on Sunday (so if you want clean towels for Sunday, best to request their delivery on Saturday). Also, they do not have an elevator -- but there will be someone to help you with your luggage. On the excellent side, they presented me with a curated list of recommended restaurants and interesting things to see that I very much appreciated. I would so happily stay at this hotel again!

A cozy, simple little hotel right by the beach. We were welcomed with a local candy and a local liqueur (kitron) on arrival, and the staff were just wonderful. Family-owned and recommended!

A lovely family hotel with hardworking friendly staff. They are happy to help and always around. The breakfast is great with lots of home made bakes and good coffee. The hotel is light and airy and stays cool in the hot weather. Very close to the main beach, you can walk there in minutes. This is our second visit and we will be happy to go back.
