For a motel, it was decent. Chlorine smell in room fairly close to pool. No walkable convenience stores, would be nice to have a functioning snack machine. Otherwise, clean, safe and easy.

Good online presence. 15 minutes from everything. We came for the pool also and that was out of commission. Clean enough rooms and buildings for a two star hospitality in the tri-cities of WA. Customer service: two stars.

Front desk was not able to access emails that came with online reservations, so there were three of us there at the same time who couldn’t get our already paid for rooms. I had to wait nearly an hour with my two kids at 11pm to get to our room, had to make multiple calls to Expedia, etc. It was very frustrating after a long day of travel. I wanted to take a shower, but there was hair on the walls of the shower from a prior guest. The room was a safe space for me and my kids to sleep for a few hours before hitting the road again, but I wouldn’t go back by choice…

Found a rat in my room but the staff refunded me some mo non it without me asking. They were on it as soon as I called and the maintenance guy was at my room in under 2 minutes and he spotted it and made sure to let the manager know. I was super impressed with the service at the front desk

It was far less sketchy than many Motel 6 properties. The shower was either in poor condition and looked dirty or was actually truly filthy. Flow on the shower head was minimal. I could feel springs through the mattress. On the plus side, linens were clean and floors and other bathroom surfaces were clean, too. Shower was off-putting.

The front desk was nice in calling us to verify our stay and provided a floor room as requested. The room was cluttered, not enough room to move around, no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels on, the coat rack was not deep enough to hold items properly and the floors were filthy dirty. Need to mop not just sweep. The outside walking areas to rooms were not kept clean either. Not enough coffee available for the amount of patrons. Need a bell at front desk when patrons need help.

The room actually looks really nice as a motel and furnitures look clean and new. Facilities are nice, check in/out is straightforward. It did miss the shampoo in my room and I was too lazy to call the stuff. The area is also pretty nice, but you can hear people walking outside as expected from most motel room. In general a great stay.

Staff was super friendly and the rate was reasonable for the area on the weekend we needed it (in town for a big race and all the hotels were booked). Felt safe. Hotel is def bare bones. It was clean and had a fridge and microwave which was super helpful. Wish there was a coffee pot/keurig in the room. AC worked fine. My only other complaint is that the water temp was lukewarm at best, and even then the shower knob had to be pointed in a random exact spot to get it to that temp… and while it’s lukewarm to the touch, it doesn’t feel warm when showering your whole body. But the other option was frigid. So lukewarm/tepid it was. Tried both in the evening and the morning. Faucet water was the same, never warmed up past tepid.

They didn't have do not disturb signs. The cleaning lady knocked while I was taking an afternoon nap waking me up. I said no thank you loudly. She opened the door, I said no. She kept talking. I slammed the door and locked it. She still brought the manager to talk to me. She knocked on the door. Not okay. The place was really clean. The manager extremely kind. It would have been so good if this hadn't happened. Btw, I had told the same manager I didn't need my room cleaned and that I wanted to be left alone. She forgot. If housekeeping had left when I closed the door screaming no, no,no, I would have been upset but really getting the manager to disturb me after I closed the door, not okay.

There were two adults checking in at different times for the same room. The reservation was made by Fallon but had notations that Jackie would check in earlier due to traveling. When Jackie checked in she was assured that all Fallon had to do was let the front desk know our room number and name with ID and Fallon could get her room key for the room she reserved. However, even showing the email confirmation and ID the lady at the front desk wouldn’t release the key without having Fallon call the room or go to the room and knock on the door until Jackie woke up to give verbal confirmation “again” that Fallon could pick up her room key. The lady behind the counter continued to just say “it’s policy” she wouldn’t listen to either of us “patrons” she was rude, hung up on Jackie, raised her voice at Fallon and was short with Fallon. It was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Check in staff was a really nice young man and helpful. The area around the motel 6 is sort of industrial. Several large trucks (noisy) passing by which is not their fault but the noise is audible in the rooms.

The staff are amazing. The rooms are always clean. Nice place to stay. The Mall is close. There's a restaurant next door and across the street. The river is only a mile away and it's a great place for a sunset stroll.

We were overall pleased with our stay. The bed was comfortable & the room was clean. The location felt safe; the parking lot was well lit. The downside: we would have liked to have had a mini-fridge and, although there was a desk with a single chair, perhaps a small table with chairs to eat at would have been nice.

Close to Columbia Center so there's restaurants, event center, adult stuff and kid stuff and family stuff. Great location period if I just need to unwind for a night. Clean to boot. Staffs kind and non judgemental, which is why I choose Motel 6 in Richland across from Zips Burgers. Thanks for your hospitality. Jg

Close to a Chinese buffet that was excellent plus. There was a nice clean pool. Downside: no amenities in the room. No coffee, tea, tissues, or anything else. At least they had coffee in the lobby in the morning.

Great for an affordable overnight stay. Was traveling from PDX to Spokane. Clean except the shower looked like they missed it. No coffee maker or hairdryer. Coffee in the lobby. Plenty of outlets, decent Wi-Fi . I would stay again for a quick overnight. Staff was great. Zips across the street and Chinese restaurant next door. Close to mall.

The room was clean, parking was easy, check in was quick. Shower was a little old, but everything else was new. No coffee in room or in lobby, so had to get it elsewhere. For the price can't complain.
