WoodSpring Suites Tri-Cities Richland

I enjoyed my stay at the WoodSpring Suites. I have never stayed at this hotel before, and quickly realized it's a perfect place to stay if you are traveling for business or over a longer period of time. It is very clean, safe and comfortable. There is a nice large refrigerator and little kitchen in each room as well as a great workout room on the main level that I enjoyed clean, modern equipment. First time to try out a Peloton Bike - loved it! Thank you. I definitely recommend and will likely stay here again.

I wish there was a pool.

The pool was closed and run down, no elevators, the side doors didn't work late night, there was a massive construction mess, and terrible access throughout the hotel. We will not be back.

Room was nice, cute kitchen I got to cook. Laundry area was great. My only problem was when I showered I saw hair on the tub, on the curtain, on the wall, it was clearly visible. Overall it was a good stay, would stay again. Close to the mall.

Dirty rooms, one smelled like a wet dog, it was really bad. Broken treadmill. Homeless people digging in garbage cans woke me 3 times around 130am- 2am. Not cool .

Stayed in the room for the night, didn’t get to go out. Room was decent and clean. Pillows could have been bit more firmer. This is an aparthotel so all you get is the room. The room had no amenities like coffee maker/hot water/ironing board etc. though there was a hair dryer. There is a black coffee and hot water machine at the lobby. For snacking, there is a vending machine downstairs and most of them $3. Lobby had a display board to try Peloton bike at their gym but the bike’s screen wouldn’t turn on. Overall, I would say decent stay for what I was expecting.

I hadn't been there before. I liked the room but there is no elevator, no breakfast provided and the walls are thin. I could hear a lot of noise in the middle of the night. There is no pool either and I like that.

The night male manager, didn’t catch his name. Was awesome. He made it clear that it was a family hotel and if there were any issues it would be taken care of. 24 hour video surveillance in parking lot.

Peleton (2) in gym. Otherwise gym is basic (one pulley for cable weights but no barbells) 2 treadmills 2 elliptical. I like cleanliness and friendly staff. They could have had better quality sheets, conditioner and a hairdryer. The full size kitchen was super!

This is my 2nd time staying here. Super courteous, professional staff. Exceptional amenities such as fitness center, laundry, and appliances fir cooking meals. My room fully equipped with cooking utensils. Stove, microwave and dishwasher! Perfectly quiet. Low key rest stop for an over worked Respite Caregiver.

The property and room was not very well cleaned.

Whatever you do, do not stay at this hotel. To say it was "dirty," would be the understatement of the year. The floor was so filthy that you couldn't step anywhere without your shoes sticking to the floor. I used a white washcloth to wipe up a small spill of water and it was black when I was finished. I showed the front desk and they immediately guessed who the housekeeper must've been. What does that even mean? You already know you have a housekeeper who's known for not cleaning correctly? The beds were terribly uncomfortable, and although it sounds like a really small thing, I found it extremely strange that there was literally nowhere to put a used towel. There was not a rack, nothing. There was one double hook right by the bathroom doorway. It wasn't wide enough to hang anything there except maybe a robe or something. That was it for the whole bathroom And it was a room that was supposed to hold four people. Also no paper products except for toilet paper. I think you are meant to buy your own tissues and paper towels, etc. Anyway, I can't stress enough how horrible it was just don't. I will say, however, that Hotels.com did a really good job of trying to get a refund for me and kept me informed during the whole process. They were very understanding and I truly appreciated how much they advocated for me. Of course they were not successful because the hotel already knows they are terrible and doesn't intend to refund anyone. But I was still happy with Hotels.com.

The staff is every friendly. When my husband and I walked into the lobby it smelt so clean and not like a hospital like some other hotels do. Our room smelt really good and was really clean. The bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable. My husband and I will be staying there again

My room was filthy. The halls and room smelled deeply of marijuana. They ought to rename this place the hotbox hotel. There is no way that I could stay here. Management refused any kind of refund and was rude and condescending as I left. The pictures in no way represent what this place looks smells or feels like. The next day in discussing it with people that live locally it was called the place where all the drug addicts hang out. I’m certain that they’re nice people that stay here, but I would certainly not send anyone in a vulnerable population here, I am working with Hotels.com to get the refund. Management has refused three times. There’s a fair chance that I will need to get a Pickett sign and stand outside for a while to make sure it cost them more than what they made on my stay there.

It wasn’t as clean as I would like. In the room The floors were dirty in the bathroom. They didn’t sweep. And the counter tops had sticky stuff on them. The was only one dishwasher pod and no soap or anything to was the dishes by hand. I only used a couple of dishes but had to run the dishwasher to get them clean. No paper towels. And the water pressure was terrible in the bathroom sink and the shower. The buttons to push and hold the doors open didn’t work. So it was a struggle with my hands full and trying to get in and out the doors. And with the luggage cart.

The first room we were given, was gross. I took photos. There was boogers on the wall, grease and food crumbs on the counters next to the sink/fridge, stuff all over the floor like pretzels and it was clearly not swept or vaccumed. I think the first room the bedding was just changed and made nothing else in the primary part of the room. Thankfully, the front desk staff immediately gave us a a new room that was actually clean. My only complaint would be that the walls/floors are pretty thin. We could hear people coming down the hall and loud voices in the room next to us and below us. My husband asked the front desk as well if they have do not disturb signs and the male employee working rudely responded “Nope. We don’t go in your rooms this is part of an extended stay”. Anyways, not the best experience and wouldn’t return back. The environment was sketchy as well the type of people come in and out, staying there, hanging outside. Would not recommend for a family stay or longer than a quick night. The daytime female staff was very helpful and nice tho

Our stay began with a friendly worker at the front desk. She was fine. But as we enteredthe elevator we were greeted by the smell of pee, then the smell of old seafood in the hall. The powerful smell of fake vanilla in the room could only be masking other foul smells. We were willing to suck it up in order to get a good night's rest. We pulled back the covers only to find hair. Lots of it. We got new sheets from the lobby just to resolve the situation. Wrong size. We got more. As we changed the sheets we found two drywall anchors under the mattress cover. If this hotel was cheap it could have made sense. But we're currently three hours away in Portland in a luxury hotel for the same cost. What a rip

Cleanliness

nice comfortable bed, overall pleasant stay for 7 days

The bed was very uncomfortable and very high off the ground. The property is right by the freeway and it was very noisy. Rather than charging the full amount of my stay, prior to checking in, they charged a deposit sized fee, which dropped off after midnight. It would have made more sense to charge the full stay. Otherwise, the counter staff were helpful, gracious, and kind. It looked clean. It did not have any smell. The art was quite lovely. Genuinely, the worst part of my stay was how uncomfortable and high the beds were.

Oh, you want Internet that actually works? The crippled Internet is free. There’s a charge for decently-working Internet. See if they start charging for toilets that actually flush.

The hotel was well-located and perfect for what I needed. The bed was very comfortable, although the room key was required in order for the lights to work. The other thing that kept it from being a 5/5 was the excessive noise from upstairs. If you want peace and quiet, it's probably not the place for you.

I have stayed here before, really like the location. It's easy to get anywhere in Tri-Cities from here. The one thing I really disliked was the bed frames, they are raised so high off the floor you have to climb up into bed. The pillows are awful too, but other than that it's a nice place.

Did not realize this was a low cost extended stay hotel. Basic furnishings, micro kitchen with two burner stove and basic cooking equipment and dishes. The kind of place you would stay if you wanting to save money on food. Not bad just unexpected

We stayed in a room close to the neon sign. With no black out curtains the room was too light. This is a basic place to stay. Not fancy. It was fine for us except the persistent green glow from outside.

Bed was uncomfortable. Being next to the freeway, hoped for better sound proofing in the rooms for the cost.

The hotel demanded an $100 cash deposit, when we ask them to put in credit card they refused and cancelled our room. We have stay here several time while we have had VA surgeries. They never ask for a cash deposit before.

Looks new on the outside, very minimal and a bit older on the inside. Price was a great value. I got in at 10 and so the manager on duty was not happy to have to check me in and complained the entire time he was helping me.

Front desk representative was so rude and had an attitude!

I arrived for check in at 7pm and room was not ready until 1130 pm. I was not able to use my room to get ready to meet friends. I had to get ready in the public hotel bathroom. I think there should be some compensation here. Very displeased

Was trying to check into property at 10:20pm. The doors were locked and there no was communication to call the hotel to be let in for late night check-ins. Ended up getting a hotel room across the street. When I messaged the hotel they said I should have picked up the phone to call them and would not refund my night. Terrible service in my opinion.

Random cash deposit required with no ATM on site.

Serious tweakerville. Questionable vehicles and people wandering around the property. Will never stay here again.

Highway noise, but not that bad and a great price!

The area kind of feels unsafe and dirty andear I'm a transient would recommend this hotel ever again I got there and I didn't even bother to Check-in I just ate the v and left

Lots of homeless and druggies everywhere

The place was sketchy. When we first drove up, there was a car with hood up, two cars banged up, people sitting inside cars with loud music. Inside on our floor, two different rooms had people sitting outside talking on the phones (8:00 at night)-staff did go and talk with them. Second night two cop cars in parking lot. I asked them if they thought it was safe here. They said "ye#", but call any time. Staff was very pleasant and helpful Blanket so thin, did not even know blanket was on. Was able to get another. Bed was comfortable. No tissues. Refrigerator noisy (like really noisy-sounded like someone snoring all night long!)

Nice near the mall

Mall, restaurants, shopping centers, gas stations and banks

They provided a simple kitchen implements. Other similar style hotels do not provide.

I like the security of this Hotel but I was shocked the front desk closed at 10, and I couldn’t check in after. I made it right on time not knowing. It’s right next to the freeway so traffic is a little loud but the beds were comfortable and it’s nice to have a kitchen but no coffee maker or coffee. The coffee at the front desk only had powder creamer and regular sugar no other options, this ruined my day for sure, at least Splenda would have been nice. I’m picky about hotel coffee so I will probably not be back due to this you pay allot for a room not to have your cup of Joe in the morning.

Front Service was pretty good. Chose them because they offered breakfast, not once was there coffee or breakfast out. House keeping was nonexistent and had to take my own trash out. Definitely wasn’t worth the money paid for and won’t stay there again.

Love the kitchen area in the room

This hotel was a huge disappointment. i typically stay in extended stay sites and there are obvious expectations. Here are a few of my complaints: * No in-room coffee pot (Seriously?) *No ice machines (to make it worse my refrigerator wasn't cold enough to freeze ice. It took 2 days!) *very sparse kitchen (Example: nothing to cut with, nothing to mix with. The only thing besides plates and cereal bowls was a colander) *right behind a smelly canal and a lot od homeless people roaming. *no staff on site between 10 pm - 9 am. *horribly uncomfortable beds *no shampoo/conditioner and the list goes on.... DO NOT STAY HERE
