Tourist Inn One Amsterdam

I stayed three nights in a 6-bed dorm and really enjoyed it. The location is excellent — only about a 7-minute walk from Central Station, which makes it super convenient. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast was delicious. The room was comfortable and the shower facilities were great, located outside the dorm so you don’t disturb others. Common areas were spacious and comfortable, perfect to relax. There was a bit of noise at night, but overall it was a very good stay. Would definitely recommend for travelers looking for a central and friendly place in Amsterdam

I stayed here a couple of times over a short period. A week here & there. The staff is nice, helpful, very attentive, and really good at their various roles. They welcomed me like family as I was there for so long. The place was clean, the breakfast was simple but with many items to choose from. The showers were clean, the drawer they have for your use has a combination lock, which was very reassuring. They hold your luggage for free after check out or before check in. WiFi is free and the connection was better than many places I’ve been. It was super easy to get to Centraal Station, food, shopping areas, etc… I definitely recommend Tourist Inn as a place to stay if you’re traveling on a budget. I met people from various walks of life and countries.

Little gem of a place , friendly staff very central all major places walking distance , even the shared rooms are secure to leave your luggage in a locker provided , decent breakfast comfy beds with charging ports , thumbs up over all

Overall I was happy at the end but on the beginning I was really upset as Expedia shows that there is parking available but there was not ! I arrived at 11 pm and with small children and they told me to look for parking on the street but this was in red light district and initially I was really afraid and ready to just leave . Fortunately , I found street parking ( but the fee was up to 75 Euros for 24 hours) . Other then this , breakfast was good, sharable restrooms and showers were clean and staff was friendly. good localization as many restaurants / shops around .

This is more like a hostel than a hotel, with bunk beds for the whole family and communal toilets and a shower for the whole floor. Luckily, each room at least had its own sink so we could brush and wash our hands. Additionally, our Expedia status got us breakfast included with our booking. Stairs to our room (in building separate from the lobby) were steep, narrow, and curved, thus inaccessible for anyone needing wider accommodations. Immersive location in the Red Light District and down the street from the main train station.

As a first hostel experience, this was the place to do it. The property was very clean, everyone was very respectful of people sleeping off jetlag, and the bathrooms and showers are easily accessible to people on your floor. There is a nice lounge area downstairs and breakfast was included and worth the money.

Non c' era ascensore come scritto si expedia, e noi avevamo una persona con difficoltà a camminare. Sono salita a vedere la camera, era in un'altra palazzina con delle scale talmente strette e ripide che quasi cadevo. Mi hanno fatto pagare la prima notte anche se noi nel frattempo abbiamo trovato un'altra sistemazione e grazie ad expedia ricevuto rimborso. Sottolineo che loro ad expedia hanno detto al telefono che non c'era ascensore, vi sembra corretto? Una puzza di canna, locale reception molto sporco e poi le foto della hall e della camera non sono le stesse che ci sono sil sito, so che non possono essere uguali, ma non c'entravano proprio nulla. Tutto vecchio e in una strada a luci rosse. Sconsigliato.

Easy to find and comfortable beds. Included breakfast (pancakes were amazing!). Only complaint would be the stairs in the 2nd building! Very narrow and very steep. Struggled to get our suitcase up and down the 2 flights, almost fell up and down them a few times! Otherwise, really good value for money.

Der Check Inn war einfach unkompliziert jedoch das Zimmer selbst war nicht grad sauber TV funktionierte gar nicht. Parkplätze gibt es gar keine mussten 2km weit weg Parken. Frühstücks Büffet gab es jedoch sehr wenig Auswahl. Die Gegend selbst vom Hotel war nicht die beste mussten in irgendein Hinterhaus dort gab es dann die Zimmern mit Gemeinschaftsduschen und WC‘s Zustand auch sehr schlecht und nicht die saubersten.

The floors were never cleaned while I was there for 4 nights! Also, I had a feeling the floors were uneven.

Room was spotlessly clean and so was the hotel in all areas. All the staff lovely and very helpful. Good continental breakfast. 7-10 min walk from central station. Nice area walkable to all attractions in Amsterdam. Definitely would recommend and will definitely stay again. 5*****

I would definitely stay here again next time i’m in Amsterdam. The location was perfect so could walk everywhere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms both tidy.

Ótima localização com bom café da manhã. Pelo valor praticado, esperava mais. O locker apresentou problemas ao longo da estadia. O mesmo ocorreu com outras pessoas do quarto. Staff pouco participativo. Ausência de limpeza regular do quarto e controle mais rígido das normas do quarto e convivência, ficando um pouco bagunçando por conta da falta de educação de alguns hóspedes.

A nice hostel that was about a 10-min walk to Amsterdam Central. Bedroom was clean, modern and had drapes for privacy which was very nice. Bathrooms and shower rooms were clean and not busy whenever I had to use them.

Wir,Familie mit 2 erwachsenen Kindern,hatten 2 Zimmer (1. 3. Stock)Fenster zur Spuitstrasse im Haupthaus. Zimmer ok,Betten sehr gut, aber in beiden Zimmern hörte man bei geschlossenen Fenstern wirklich jedes Wort draussen auf der Straße,als wenn die Fenster dauerhaft gekippt gewesen wären. Wir wussten,dass das Hotel in Bahnhofs-und Rotlichtviertelnähe liegt, deshalb kann man sich die Frequentierung auf der Strasse nachts vorstellen. Gegröle, Party, bis zum Übergeben,alles dabei. Wir waren von Donnerstag bis Sonntag,wo sich die Nächte gesteigert haben. Das Hotel wird gerade umgebaut,sie bitten dafür um Verständnis und wir wurden vorab darüber informiert.Umbau war kein Problem,da wir tagsüber weg waren. Gewisser Dreck muss da akzeptiert werden,aber Schimmel in den Fugen in der Dusche und massiv an der Duschkabinentür auch aussen,hat mit Umbau nichts zu tun. Das Personal ist freundlich,es liegen Ohrstöpsel an der Rezeption aus,aber mit Begründung Baustelle, nicht Lärm. Wir haben beim Auschecken gesagt,dass die Fenster absolut undicht sind, aber diese Aussage rief Verwunderung und Unverständnis hervor. Das Frühstück ist gut und es sind 2 Damen da,die immer alles sofort nachfüllen.Leider gab es nur reine Butter und einen Schmelzkäseaufstrich als Aufstrich und nur Orangenscheiben als einziges Obst(auch auf Nachfrage nach Alternative). Fazit: Hotel mit über 4,00 leider überbewertet, ausser nur die Lage zählt, Fenster, merkwürdig, waren nie erwähnt. Ansonsten toller Städtetrip

Great place and highly recommend! Room was very tight quarters but we made it work ok! Triple room was a loft style with sleeper up top and bunk beds on bottom

Very central to shopping and restaurants, great breakfast options and hospitable staff. The top rooms do get quite hot during peak summer days so be prepared.

Nice hotel at a very good location to a fair price. The breakfast and staff were good. We had a private room with two beds and the window was poorly insulated so it was a bit cold in the room and you could hear the noises from the street. But the shower and bathroom were really nice. And the TV had disney channel which is great if you want to watch cartoons. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Bra centralt läge, helt ok frukost med pannkakor och bröd pålägg med ägg mm. Dock lite lyhört från gatan o mellan rummen, ta med öronproppar

This is a perfect location, easy to get around from here. You are right next to the Red Light District too, The bathrooms were a small, but at least private.

A very central hostel with private rooms with bathroom that we stayed in. A recently refurnished room, large bed and very clean. No towels changed on 2nd day, but could have asked I guess. Comes with shampoo and shower gel. Good, powerful shower. Could hear constant walking on floorboards in the rooms above and noisy from the outside. Breakfast acceptable- continental, busy. Overall would stay again and recommend for the price, location, cleanliness. Staff very friendly and professional.

This is a great place to stay. It offers several type of accomodations from shared to private rooms. We stayed in a private room with private bathrooms, first floor (has elevator). It was very clean, had good heating system, hot water, clean bathroom and bed and a good tv. Overall is a good option if you are looking for short stays. The staff is very friendly, especifically Lian, who will respond all your questions and offer you an excellent customer service. The breakfast is very complete and has different options. The location is what is the best overall advantage of this place. Located 10 minutes walking from Amsterdam Central and 10-15 minutes away from great touristic attractions, restaurants, bars, the Anne Frank Museum, canals, in Amsterdam. The area is really safe and you can walk your way through all streets with easyness. Overall price-benefit relation is very good. Will return without a doubt.

Stayed for one night with my family which included 3 children. This was my first time staying in a hostel so only booked one night. I was really surprised at how clean it was. The showers and toilets were also surprisingly clean (shared showers n toilets). The breakfast which was included was very good with a lot of variety to set you up for the day. Check in was fast and all the staff were friendly. I dropped something down the side of one of the bunk beds and couldn’t retrieve it, the staff on shift came straight up and got it out for me ( can’t remember his name-hulk) I also met the deputy manager who was very nice. The only negative I had was the tv was not working, the same staff member who retrieved my item from under the bed tried to get it working but couldn’t and he said he would get it fixed the next day, but we was only staying one night, but this wasn’t a big deal. Overall I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this accommodation.

Our flight was cancelled so we booked this last minute. We had already spent 6 nights in another hotel. It was like night and day. If only we had booked Tourist Inn for the whole stay, what a difference it would have made. From the moment you walk through the doors you know it’s going to be good.The staff are friendly and helpful. Everywhere is clean and comfortable. Best nights sleep we have had for a week. Buffet breakfast you pay extra but well worth it. Thank you to the staff for being so nice and welcoming!!

Viagem entre amigas, quarto pequeno mas com camas confortáveis, chuveiro bom, atendentes gentis e menos de 10 min a pé da estação central. O recepcionista que estava na noite em que chegamos não foi atencioso, nos deu informações equivocadas sobre deslocamentos para passeios e não se mostrou prestativo. Demais funcionários da recepção foram todos muito gentis. Café da manhã bom e farto. Ficamos no prédio principal onde tem elevador.

The location is closed to the central train station, about 10 minutes walking, which is convenient to take a train in the early morning.

Nice budget place to stay, central location with short walking to most places

Had a wonderful stay. The hotel is situated very near the center. Close to shops, and distant walk to the central station and Dam square. Beautiful canals are just at the back of the hotel if you want to walk with a nice view.

Very good location, and clean, breakfast was very good. Close to the most important places around Amsterdam city, and 6-8 minutes walking form Amsterdam Grand Central Station.

Area around the property is not safe. We felt uncomfortable, especially at night.

Wirklich schöner Ort, sauber und zentral. Mit einem kleinen Kind hatten wir eine tolle Zeit. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Nous avons passé une bonne nuit dans cet hôtel. Gros point noir sur le petit déjeuner !!!!!!!!!! C'est la première fois que je vois un "buffet" aussi peu fourni, à 16 euros le petit déj c'est du vol.

Hotel in Umbau. Frühstück im Schlafsaal mit allem separat eingepackt - eine Umwelt Katastrophe. Personal ist trotzdem sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Midden in een renovatie dus je onbijt krijg je in een papieren zak. Drinken staat op 1e verdieping. Via nooduitgang naar je kamer. De trap zat onder de verf en beton en stonk vreselijk en het was daar vochtig. Receptie tijdelijk in bijgebouw, maar aanfluiting. Dames wel super vriendelijk.Kamer was klein, maar voldeed verder wel. Redelijk nieuw volgens mij. Ligging ook prima, maar had ik geweten van de renovatie had ik niet daar geboekt. Dit hoort gecommuniceerd te worden. Je betaald evengoed flinke prijs voor overnachting met ontbijt. Zet het op je website!

Wow this is easily the best hostel I've stayed in on my trip (one month+!). Staff were lovely, showers were brilliant, air con in the rooms!! and breakfast included. Also brilliant location, backs onto the cute canals and close to lots of restaurants and coffeeshops ;)

Fantastic hostel. Clean, comfortable and love the privacy curtains in the shared rooms. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice and good quality. Will be returning!

一年前にも宿泊したのですが、改装工事のためか近くの場所に移転してました。 一年前の朝食はチーズなど内容が充実してましたが、この度は質素になってたのが、残念でした。 立地と値段が良いので、また利用したいです。
