The property is located in a very walkable area and the staff are kind and helpful. Beyond that, the king suite with bathtub and the pool area are very tired. My "white" towels were gray and stiff. The sheets were stained. The bed was comfortable. The pool just looked worn out and uninviting. The Expedia advertising says there is free parking but the hotel charged me 120 pesos (6 dollars). In short, if the price was less than $50 a night, maybe it might have been reasonable. I just think the description did not match the experience.

The ceiling shower jets wasn't working. The pool water was cloudy and the cleaning pump was never turned on during our 3 days, maybe the pool is less used in winter. The hotel is however nice looking and comfortable.

The property is within a 10 minute walk at most of Plaza de grande and the historical buildings in that area. Plenty of restaurants are very good food. People are very friendly. The hotel offers free breakfast, but I don’t believe any other meals during the day, at least I did not see any, but I was out most of the day. The bathroom in my room could use a makeover, but it was acceptable, it was a little damp, but not uncomfortably so. The area leading to the rooms is lush with greenery and very pretty. The only real complaint that I have is that the pool is not working, and apparently hasn’t been working for a while so the water that’s still in. It needs to be drained as it is a little foul odor.
