Lovely inn in nice surroundings. Very clean and large room with good quality bedding and towels. Jackson is a small place but there are a few dining options within walking distance. Good to also be able to use shared microwave oven and fridge.

No fridge, microwave or elevator. No phone in room. No clock or radio. Breakfast hours 8-9, not much use if planning on travelling. A motel 8 has vastly superior rooms at half the price. I made a mistake booking that place

Our first impression was a beautiful older home with beautiful gardens. Luckily we don’t have mobility issues are there were many steps both inside and outside the building. Upon arrival at 6:30 pm there was no one there to greet us however, a letter with instructions and a key to our room was provided at the reception desk. We were surprised to find our room on the 3rd floor with no elevator. But, we made it work and once upstairs found a quaint and comfortable bedroom with a private bathroom. A deck with a hot tube was available outside overlooking the garden. One nice feature is the bar room with plenty of glasses that we could use for our own drinks. Breakfast was plated with a nice variety of selections. Restaurants were a short walk away. Definitely a nice place to stay.

We liked the location and feel of the place but there were some issues that we found disappointing. Our adult son went in the outdoor hot tub very briefly as he found it to be not well maintained - he said it seemed slimy and the water level was too low. The other negative was there was a thick layer of dust under both of the beds in our room. We did let the innkeeper JP know and he said he had tested the hot tub with a strip and it was ok. He did have the dust under the bed removed which was appreciated. The staff is not present there except for in the AM which was slightly frustrating but the breakfast was good. JP has said he would give us some kind of refund on our stay but we have not heard from him.

This is our third time to stay at the Inn. We had loved the clean and cozy environment, as well as the hot tub. However, we were told that the hot tub was out of order when we got there. It is disappointing! We would not have chosen to stay there if we had known earlier. In addition, the service is not good as before.

The Inn is really darling but it is in need of some repairs. Our room was perfect with the most beautiful and comfortable bed ever! Their motto is come as guests and leave as friends. Well, that would be hard as we didn’t see the innkeeper except once and that was after we already checked in and she was going into her room at 4 pm. We were in and out and all around and never saw her again. I texted her once with a question and she didn’t answer for several hours and it was way past her 9 pm deadline when she did answer. The room key was left on top of a letter to us so we just picked up our letter and key and went to our room. The food was good and the views were spectacular. I would say some updating, painting, and cleaning would really solve a lot of problems. We won’t stay again because we had to drag our luggage upstairs—not their fault, but at our age, we need an elevator. Overall good experience.

My room was on the top floor. That may be why the hot water took forever to heat up. The room was nice & there was an a/c in the window, already running when I checked in. The bed was too firm for my taste, but everything was clean. Friendly staff and breakfast was really good.

My wife and I vacation in Jackson twice a year and have stayed at several of the inns. This was our first time at the Inn at Jackson. While not as nice as the more expensive inns, it was on a par with similarly priced facilities. Clean with a comfortable bed. I was disappointed with the low lighting in the room and lounge making it difficult to read. Also multiple broken bureau drawers limited our unpacking. We never saw anyone at the front desk to speak with. Nonetheless, we will probably return.

We stayed here two or three times before but it is not as good as it used to be. There was no fire in the fireplace but one artificial log was there. However the glass on the fireplace was opaque with soot and needed cleaning. I think we were the only guests and they placed us on the 3rd floor. There is no elevator and no one around to help with the bags. We did not see anyone until the morning. The shower was very small and had little water pressure. The toilet needed to be flushed twice to clear feces. In the past, the breakfast was great with fruit, pastries, and the main meal. Today, the scones (or cookies?) were old, hard, and not very good. The pancakes, French toast, and bacon were good. The walkway was not shoveled before check-in and still not shoveled in the morning. The furnishings are marred and many need refinishing or replacement. In general, it is a very cool old building but it needs significant attention to make it attractive again.

I was so disappointed when we got to the Jackson Inn. The awning over the stairs was dirty and worn, the concrete stairs were spauling. When we entered through the door, it smelled like a summer cottage just being opened for the year. The hall carpet didn’t look clean and over one step was not fastened properly. I paid over $200. a night for a room that was shabby and worn. There were 2 newer night tables but the finish on the sleigh bed was worn off in spots and the table with the tv was stained as was upholstery on one chair. The worst was the mold in the caulking of the tub surround. The bathroom was worn and unattractive too. I thought that I had read enough reviews before I booked but clearly I had not. The breakfast was good and the people running the inn were very nice. But, that just wasn’t enough.

This is a charming Inn with much class. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the fireplace in the room makes it very cozy. As you make your way to your room every hallway is decorated with a historical touch. The breakfast is made to order every morning and the staff are very kind and accommodating. We loved our stay!

The Inn at Jackson is a very cute and old school B&B. This is our 2nd stay here and we will come again. We enjoy the location and views from the Inn. Jackson falls is just around the corner, beautiful even in the in between season, April. Great breakfast, fast and hot! The only negative was the shower. We were on the top floor, so maybe that’s why it took forever to get hot water and then the show didn’t regulate hot and cold. Basically all hot or all cold. Obviously it won’t stop us from coming again, just an FYI. Love this place and the beauty around it!

Nice location, great breakfast, Room 6 was lovely and spacious and had gas fireplace to provide some extra warmth on a couple of cold and windy nights and all staff were very pleasant and kind.

We arrived and no one was at the front desk; our key and room number were in an envelope on the desk. We found the room and let ourselves in. The deadbolt would not latch and I called to see if it could be repaired - and was told that no one would come and that they never use the deadbolt which was placed there by previous owner. Although the Inn was mostly empty they would not move us to another room. They would give us a refund and we could try and find someplace else but assured us that Jackson was a safe community and the door handle lock was sufficient; after driving hours to get there we decided to simply lock the door handle and barricade the door. The breakfast was great and the manager was friendly and helped with suggestions on what to see in the area. The room was large and comfortable. Water pressure was poor (we were on top floor). Overall the Inn was okay if more self-service than we would like and that reviews led us to believe.

Our first impression was a beautiful older home with beautiful gardens. Luckily we don’t have mobility issues are there were many steps both inside and outside the building. Upon arrival at 6:30 pm there was no one there to greet us however, a letter with instructions and a key to our room was provided at the reception desk. We were surprised to find our room on the 3rd floor with no elevator. But, we made it work and once upstairs found a quaint and comfortable bedroom with a private bathroom. A deck with a hot tube was available outside overlooking the garden. One nice feature is the bar room with plenty of glasses that we could use for our own drinks. Breakfast was plated with a nice variety of selections. Restaurants were a short walk away. Definitely a nice place to stay.

Check-in was a little different as you came up to the desk. There was an envelope with my name on it. There was no staff available, but we found our room easily. It is dated but neat and clean. Breakfast was excellent as someone cooked it individually for us.

What a great stay we had! The Inn at Jackson has a quiet, relaxing but sociable feel to it. We appreciated the no kids rule to help with that vibe. The innkeeper, Michelle is excellent at what she does. She'll make sure you're enjoying your stay and that you have everything you need. We liked that we were able to be self-sufficient, whether that was helping ourselves to extra toiletries and linen or using the glassware, fridge, or coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the bar area (bring your own libations). Breakfast each morning was excellent. We met some great couples and enjoyed sharing our adventures while sitting on the screened in porch. We will definitely be back again when we stay in the area!

We liked the location and feel of the place but there were some issues that we found disappointing. Our adult son went in the outdoor hot tub very briefly as he found it to be not well maintained - he said it seemed slimy and the water level was too low. The other negative was there was a thick layer of dust under both of the beds in our room. We did let the innkeeper JP know and he said he had tested the hot tub with a strip and it was ok. He did have the dust under the bed removed which was appreciated. The staff is not present there except for in the AM which was slightly frustrating but the breakfast was good. JP has said he would give us some kind of refund on our stay but we have not heard from him.

The deadbolt would not latch and I called to see if it could be repaired - and was told that no one would come and that they never use the deadbolt which was placed there by previous owner. Although the Inn was mostly empty they would not move us to another room. They would give us a refund and we could try and find someplace else but assured us that Jackson was a safe community and the door handle lock was sufficient; after driving hours to get there we decided to simply lock the door handle and barricade the door. The breakfast was great and the manager was friendly and helped with suggestions on what to see in the area. The room was large and comfortable. Water pressure was poor (we were on top floor). The Inn is really darling but it is in need of some repairs. Our room was perfect with the most beautiful and comfortable bed ever! Their motto is come as guests and leave as friends. Well, that would be hard as we didn’t see the innkeeper except once and that was after we already checked in and she was going into her room at 4 pm. We were in and out and all around and never saw her again. I texted her once with a question and she didn’t answer for several hours and it was way past her 9 pm deadline when she did answer. The room key was left on top of a letter to us so we just picked up our letter and key and went to our room. The food was good and the views were spectacular. I would say some updating, painting, and cleaning would really solve a lot of problems. We won’t stay again because we had to drag our luggage upstairs—not their fault, but at our age, we need an elevator. Overall good experience.

We love the old inn and the fact that it is in the center of the quaint village of Jackson and so close to the Jackson Xcountry ski touring center. The room was nice, the arm chairs cosy and the bed comfortable. However, we stayed 4 nights and the breakfasts became a little boring, I think they could offer other options.

The Inn at Jackson is a very cute and old school B&B. This is our 2nd stay here and we will come again. We enjoy the location and views from the Inn. Jackson falls is just around the corner, beautiful even in the in between season, April. Great breakfast, fast and hot! The only negative was the shower. We were on the top floor, so maybe that’s why it took forever to get hot water and then the show didn’t regulate hot and cold. Basically all hot or all cold. Obviously it won’t stop us from coming again, just an FYI. Love this place and the beauty around it!

Sad to see a lovely Inn deteriorate. Carpets, furniture stained, old, musty. Breakfast was terrible - scrambled eggs looked and tasted like rubber, coffee was weak and awful. The Inn is in bad shape and depressing.

We stayed here two or three times before but it is not as good as it used to be. There was no fire in the fireplace but one artificial log was there. However the glass on the fireplace was opaque with soot and needed cleaning. I think we were the only guests and they placed us on the 3rd floor. There is no elevator and no one around to help with the bags. We did not see anyone until the morning. The shower was very small and had little water pressure. The toilet needed to be flushed twice to clear feces. In the past, the breakfast was great with fruit, pastries, and the main meal. Today, the scones (or cookies?) were old, hard, and not very good. The pancakes, French toast, and bacon were good. The walkway was not shoveled before check-in and still not shoveled in the morning. The furnishings are marred and many need refinishing or replacement. In general, it is a very cool old building but it needs significant attention to make it attractive again.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Inn at Jackson. During out second stay our room (#10) had next to no water pressure to take a shower. You didn't wash your hair unless you had 30 minutes to run the trickle of water through your hair to remove the shampoo. I called and left a message at the main number, no one from the hotel thought it worth to return my call regarding the water pressure.

I was completely surprised when I walked in to the lobby. My envelope with room key and greeting were waiting on the desk. Then Anthony walked in to greet us and gave us a quick tour and history of this lovely property. Quiet, friendly and comfortable. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks Anthony.
