Nordic Village Condominium Resort

I love the Nordic Village set up, balkony with the mountain view, outdoor heated swimming pools, sound and steam room. We were not able to enjoy the fire-pit, pond, sheep and trails due to the poor weather conditions. Our apartment was a bit outdated but our stay was great and I recommend this property. The ladies at the reception desk were very nice and helpful.

It was so nice to find a place to stay that offers so many activities/amenities, away from the hustle and bustle of North Conway. Indoor pool and hot tub, two outdoor pools and a hot tub, fitness center with adult only pool, game room, koi pond, sheep barn... so fun! Good restaurants nearby, nice and peaceful and close to StoryLand, Mt. Washington, swim holes and more. Great communication and service from the staff.

This property is nothing short of amazing. It has everything. The outdoor pools surprised us with how warm they were. We didnt plan on using the outdoor pools as it was cold outside, but they indoor pool was slightly busy so we tried them out and they were warm and clean! The campfire was fun to make smores by, we used the rec room to play pool and cornhole. The property felt safe and had a friendly vibe. The employees were kind and helpful. The room itself was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the kids liked the jacuzzi tub. And with everything... it was affordable! We will absolutely be coming back!

Loved the gas fireplace heat and beautiful view. Enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and hot-tub. Wish the 18 adult hot-tub and pool were open/maintained.

Love the pool and the Nordic Loop! Unfortunately with the dry spell no bonfire and smores but otherwise wonderful stay!!

Property was beautiful and fun property has like 6 different pools has hot tubs and a little pond with boats that you can take out and feed the fish. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back.

This was great for my family of four. The property had pools, hot tubs, pickle ball/ tennis court. It was clean and had everything we needed. It is a bit dated but in good condition overall.

Every person that I met on the property was extremely warm, friendly and helpful. From the women in reception to the man cleaning the pools to the man who fixed a little problem in our room to the maids I met in the hall, everyone was welcoming and hospitable. The grounds were well taken care of and filled with things to do and the pools and hot tubs were exceptionally clean.

Room was very dated, 70’s decor,. Shower was dirty and had curly hairs still in it, unrepaired hole in the ceiling, stains on the rug. Water heater was leaking and smelled of mold. We have rented units here in past years, never been this bad.

Lovely clean room

The pictures posted online are not an accurate depiction of the room, seemed to have been taken years prior. Regardless, the stay was comfortable. Only real issues were cleanliness. Odd smell when using the jets on the jacuzzi, didn't use it again after. Beehive on the porch and many dead bugs in the screen of most windows, there were was a large accumulation. Some blinds are broke and do not close all the way. Screens also had lots of dust on them. The TV is also at an odd angle and makes watching from the sofa or bed uncomfortable. Aside from these somewhat minor issues, it was a good stay and I'd be pressed to find a better resort for the price

Overall the stay went great , however there were stains on the bedding .

Rooms were very clean. Stayed in Hallsberg with great mtn. views. Mattress was a little hard but other than that was fine.

It was not very clean. Ceiling fan over bed was covered in dust, curtains and carpeting are old and worn out. Found hair in the bathroom on the floor and in the vanity draws. Will not be staying there again.

The fitness center, indoor pool, sauna and steam room are all excellent. Rooms very spacious and clean, although decor is very outdated.

Dreadful. The rooms were poorly set up with a king size bed in the main living area, a slippery tub/shower set up, a door to the balcony that was locked on the inside and resulted in one of our party being locked outside on the balcony. It was depressing and we only stayed for one night of our two night prepaid reservation.

The condos are getting a bit tired. They are clean and comfortable. The jacuzzis need to go. They are old and I can't imagine whats in the pipes. Shower is dangerous because you have to climb into the jacuzzi which is slippery and no handles to hold on to.

Check in staff were very friendly and gave ideas for things to do. The grounds of the resort were maintained and cleaned. We stayed in the Zurich which was outdated and smelled "old" . We booked our stay through hotels.com, we did not get the room that was shown from the web sight as it looked updated compared to the room that we stayed in.

I loved the mountain views and amenities. The rooms are very outdated. Bathroom needs the most updating; the glass shower door fell on my while trying to get off the shower, luckily it did not break. I would stay with them again for the views/amenities but would love to see renovations done on the rooms and balcony.

Stayed on bottom floor and unit above us we could hear every step they took. Also had a small running child that we heard constantly. Units not very sound proof. We have stayed at Nordic Village in the past 2-3 times and never had this problem

Went for story land which is close enough to walk to! The only problem was the AC unit was only in the living room and the bedroom would get really hot at night. Otherwise beautiful place!

This was my family's first stay at Nordic Village Resort but it will not be our last. This is a beautiful, family-friendly resort close to several area attractions. PROS: Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff Well-equipped condos (our one bedroom unit included a full kitchen with all the essentials, two TV's, two DVD players, a heat pump with ice cold A/C, and a large, jetted jacuzzi tub) Tons of fun activities on-site, including a beautiful pool area (indoor and outdoor pools/hot tubs), row boats, games room, basketball net, and tennis court. There are even sheep that you can feed! CONS: Lack of sound-proofing between condo units. As a result, we heard every footstep in the unit above us, which unfortunately began at 6:15am with several children running around. This continued for hours. In fairness, I dont think this would have been a big deal had the children been instructed not to run/stomp, and I don't blame Nordic Village Resorts for this; it was only a minor inconvenience, and as a parent of young children, I get it! If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, well-equipped, fairly priced, and family friendly place to stay, I would encourage you to give this place a shot. My family can't wait to come back!

The staff was really helpful. Our first room had a bunch of hornets and they upgraded us to a nicer room for free. But both rooms were outdated and in need of some cosmetic repairs. I wouldn’t pay peak season prices to stay there.

Front desk ladies are incredibly awsome, and the manager was great..love it. it was my first time and i would definitely drive the 3hours 30minutes again.

The accommodations were great, the staff very responsive when we had an issue, and the location ideal for our multi-generation trip to StoryLand. We hope to return for a longer visit!

Staff is rude at check in. Didnt really want to answer my questions about anything. Property seems old but well kept. Pool area has strong chlorine smell and is kind of dirty. But we still had a good time

This was a great stay. The only reason its 4 stars, and not 5, is the front desk. They have been consistently mediocre or mean.

Great staff .well kept very clean well stocked with bedding towels and kitchen cook ware. . Cozy and Quiet. Great place to relax with lots to do. Beautiful mountain views. Kids had a great time in the pools and game room. Definitely worth a return trip.

Absolutely enjoyed this resort had such a beautiful view from our balcony 😍 and storyland was 2 minutes down the road from the resort.

We chose Nordic Village Resort for it's proximity to StoryLand and price point for a one bedroom suite with two kings beds. Having a separate room and door for the kids to sleep in was a luxury we were willing to spend on. The rooms were average but clean enough. Beds not too firm and not too soft. This was probably in it's prime about 15 years ago so things are just a bit dated. We stayed for one night and made use of the indoor pool and hot tub with the kids and my husband and I took turns going to the gym facility on site. Only a couple of marks against the stay and they include a lack of pool towels in the room despite being told we'd have them and an issue with the heat in the room. I had to go to the main office to pickup towels across the street and they were the size of hand towels. I could barely get them around my waist! That night it was a bit chilly and my husband and I had a bit of trouble getting the heat going. There was a fireplace but we couldn't find how to turn it on and the room didn't get warmer than 62 after an hour of increasing the heat on the thermostat. Luckily there were two space heaters so we used that. Overall it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Kids had a blast at StoryLand and the pool so location and pools on site were the best features.

We loved the two level condo with loft and the indoor pool and hot tub. The location is somewhat remote and tough to find food in a pinch. But we enjoyed our stay again. We will be back.

Good location , close from ski and hiking trail.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here, enjoying the outdoor pool and hot tub in the snow. Location is perfect for a ski getaway. Rooms were clean and staff were pleasant and accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

You are perfect distance to North Conway without all its craziness and traffic. Plenty of places to eat and drink close by. The resort itself has plenty for your littles to do but depending on which room you have you may need to drive to the pills that are located at the front of the resort which with little kids can be a pain. The pills are small but having 3 with 1 only 3 feet is great for little kids. All the pills are small so sometimes it felt right in the pool. They have boats to row which my kids got a kick out of and a playground and plenty of places to go for a walk. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a nice experience

Book with caution in the wintertime. The unit was comfortable for our family of 5, fresh paint and some updated furnishings, so no complaints there. We did use the pool and it seemed clean and well maintained, and it was fun using the outdoor heated pool in the winter. However, we arrived for our 4 night stay the day after a snowstorm. I didn't realize that the property is on a very steep road, and the road was packed snow with some sand on top of it when we got there. We stayed in the Oslo building which is pretty far up the hill, and our front wheel drive vehicle just couldn't make it- it was actually sliding backwards down the hill as we tried to approach. We ended up having to park about half a mile away. Maintenence staff did help us bring our luggage to the condo, which was much appreciated. But it was difficult for us to come and go during our stay, having to walk up and down a steep and slippery road. I was six months pregnant at the time and it was very hard for me to manage, and with our kids walking along the side of the road it was nerve-wracking with cars coming and going. After a couple days the snow did start to melt and we were able to park near the gym, which was helpful, but the road to our unit was never fully plowed and we were never able to park at our unit. I would be hesitant to book this property again in the winter with our current vehicle, and getting around the property is challenging for those with mobility issues if your car can't handle it!

Beautiful property with a lot of rhing to do right there. Well maintained, and very clean. Close to the Conway Raileoad and charming North Conway downtown shops.

Nordic Village is perfect for families who want some space to relax (versus a small hotel room), a full kitchen so that you can prepare meals (it's tough to eat out every meal with a family) and SPECTACULAR views. The property is incredibly well-maintained, safe, and quiet. There is also a lot to do (indoor and outdoor pools, game room, tennis court, walking trails, small pond with boats, even a few sheep!). We have noticed improvements in these amenities over the years. From their location, it is a short drive to Storyland (our favorite place when the kids were little), and only a few minutes to North Conway (in other words, a great location). Our only negative comment: We came in July (very hot and humid). The air conditioning unit (which looked fancy and expensive) was not working. A staff member came right away, reset the circuit, replaced the battery in the remote (which had about 12 buttons on it) and showed us how to work it. Unfortunately, we were unable to repeat his instructions in the middle of the night. Some instructions (or even a QR code with the manual) would be helpful for those units.

Very conveniently located, we really enjoyed our night at a one bedroom appartment with kitchen. Did not have time to check out the pool/jacuzzi area.

gorgeous views and clean. lots of dining options and activities

The stay was very peaceful, easy access to get to the buildings and the concierge desk was very helpful. I wish there was a bit more counter space to prep and eat food. The location is perfect to get to the mountains for skiing and there’s plenty of food places around! A little disappointing that the pool and hot tub building closes around 9pm, it would be nice if it stayed open a bit longer.

Great mexican restaurant around the corner. Also the hotel has a great hot tub, pool, sauna and a great atmosphere to hike/walk around at. Great sights.

The Nordic Village is located in a very scenic area with beautiful grounds. Out unit was equipped with a full kitchen and has fireplace. It also has a balcony which we used.

The accomodations where not quite as expected. Front desk is across the Major street from the resort.. We expected a kitchen but apparrently the room description was not clear that you either had a balcony view or a kitchen. so we had a view no kitchen. there was no table of any kind to eat on, unless we ate outside on the balcony, however the weather did not permit that. The pillows on the king size bed were terrible 2 pillows each smaller than standard size and so flat it was like having none. We did no use the pullout couch however if we had to use it there would have been no way for one of the king size bed people to get around without climbing over somebody. Lovely Jacuzzi shower was a small stall. It is also the first place that asked me, on the checkout list, to bring our own trash to the dumpster! Dishes and glasses where provided with microwave. dishes had to be done in the bathroom sink.
