$40 per night resort fee (for what?) and $40 per night to park a vehicle. We don’t know about the parking fee until we got our final bill. Upgraded to a nicer room but the noise from construction was horrible. Pool was closed onsite. Limited dining options onsite.

The only thing that was a bit deceiving was that it appeared the resort was right on the beach, that was not the case. They have a shuttle that transports you to their private section of the beach which is about a 15 minute walk from the resort itself. However the facilities were beautiful and clean and the staff was incredibly accommodating. Delray is such a nice town everything is walkable from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

You have a Big parking lot but valet only! Place is called Seagate but your not on the water! Room said it had a tub and shower only stand up shower! My window faced a parking lot wall! What a waste of money thanks for my Anniversary experience with Seagate

Hotel was nice, very clean. Staff always friendly. Could use better mattresses and pillows. Most uncomfortable sleep for myself and husband. We paid $40 a day resort fee, hotel pool was under construction which was literally under our room, I had to call and ask them to have it stop at 8pm at night. The shuttle is free back and forth to the beach and within a three mile radius. We saw it once our whole stay, ended up ubering everywhere. If you want to spend most of your vacation waiting then sit out front and wait for the shuttle.

The beach club is such a nice treat to customers. We didn't really have time to enjoy the beach though because of the weather but we enjoyed the pool. The shuttle service within the 3 miles radius from the hotel to the places where you want to be is a convenience. We appreciate that so much. We will definitely come back to his property. By that time, hopefully the renovations in the property is over.

The Seagate is perfectly located on Atlantic Avenue close to shopping and restaurants. The staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The exclusive beach club with shuttle transportation was fantastic. I will definitely return.

It was a great experience but he warned the hotel is about to go fully into construction. The Atlantic grille will shut down as well as the beach club they’d already closed. They did have grab and go items on the beach. But they are redoing all the rooms too.

We have stayed at the Seagate 4 of the last 5 years. We have stayed as many as 10 days. On the last 2 trips we brought other couples with us. They stayed at the Seagate based on our high recommendation. We went this year and were deeply disappointed in the property’s condition. It was under an extensive renovation that was not only loud but was filthy. Workers footprints and dust was everywhere in the facility. We were woken each morning to power drills vibrating the walls & ceilings of our room and the hallway. There was no lobby or Beach Club dining facility. The staff repeatedly complained about being short staffed. That almost everyone was laid off and all were overworked. The only shining star was their onsite restaurant. Best food and service we have ever had at the Seagate. We were planning an April 2025 trip and were bringing our daughter and her family. I know that the renovations are supposed to be completed by then but the last trip so miserable, we may be moving on.

I found my "changed" blanket folded as new with make up on it. I showed to house keeper while she was cleaning the bathroom l. She claimed she thought she changed it.

We have stayed here before but unfortunately our room this time was awful. Don’t get room 229 it’s above a delivery zone, next to a service elevator, no window really it should never be sold as a room/ other than that we love the sea gate and the beach club is the best! The pool is also great

The staff was amazing from Austin the General Manager, Glenn and the valet team, Juan in maintenance, food service team and the front desk team were so helpful. When I arrived the internet was down they got me up to my room in a timely manner and even sent up a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area of Delray Beach and I could not recommend it enough.

The property itself was lovely. The room was in great condition; very comfortable. However, the Seagate seems to be poorly managed and staffed too lightly. As an example - the beach club had 3 guys yucking it up at the valet. However, they didn't have nearly enough servers. The valet team is not filled with terrible people, but Glenn, one of the worst valet team members I have ever met, may have also been one of the rudest. Staff members admitted they have had problems with him and immediately tried to rectify the situation. If you have an employee that is known for being rude in the service industry, it might be time to cut bait. It's a shame too because the area is beautiful, the hotel is in great condition, but everything else was so unimpressive.

The stay was great. The only hang up was trying to call for room service. Nobody would answer. No answer at the front desk either. We let it ring and called back and tried so hard not to have to leave our room, but my husband finally went down to the front desk and the person couldn’t get the call through to room service to answer either. Finally we ordered from the pool bar and asked for it to be sent up to our room. That ended up working out to our satisfaction. Everyone was helpful and courteous. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel pool was well serviced and the beach club service was A+.

Very disappointed in some aspects of our stay. The room was nice but not what was depicted in the photos. We exclusively book with Expedia and the extras we should have had were completely overlooked. Front desk staff was rude and quite unhelpful. Would not book here again.

Check in service was horrible. Did not have interface with expedia reservation. Charged my card for room even though Expedia had done so already without telling me they were doing it and still has not refunded the money. Keys to room did not work and had to make two trips back to front desk unitl they did. Check out was at 11am and keys were turned off at 10:30am

The hotel is gorgeous. You get a boutique vibe with top tier service. All of the staff were so friendly. I was extremely impressed with house keeping. I’ve never had house keeping bring me clean towels before I needed them. I’m the type of person who doesn’t like to use towels or wash clothes twice so this was greatly appreciated. I even received complimentary chocolates on my bed. I love how all restaurants and bars and shopping were so close to the hotel. Our shuttle driver gave us beast digressions on dining and entertainment. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

The Hotel is very convenient to the beach and shopping. Restaurants are close and plentiful. The hotel has convenient valet parking and quick service at check in. Eddie, the bellhop was was very nice and informative. The suite had a balcony facing a side street and was quiet. The room was very clean with fully stocked refrigerator.

The Seagate is in an ideal location of beautiful Delray Beach within easy walking access of the beach and numerous fine restaurants and artsy cafes. I love the Delray Atlantic Ave area. It is clean and beautiful and has a artsy/eclectic feel. The hotel is under renovation now but has made it easy to access the beach club and pool. The drinks and food were quite expensive at the club and that was the only thing that raised an eyebrow. The hotel room was beautiful and we enjoyed the balcony and amenities. Would be nice if the rooms had a usb outlet for electronics. We were offered free champagne and cocktails which was nice to make up for the price of the drinks we did purchase. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting beautiful Delray Beach whether for a girl's weekend, solo or a family trip. Can't wait to see how the renovations turn out!

I live in Miami, Florida, and I love a good staycation! I hadn’t spent much time in Delray Beach before this trip, but that’s definitely going to change after my experience at The Seagate. I actually discovered this hotel while reading a magazine in France that ranked it as one of the top hotels in the United States. From that moment, it went straight onto my bucket list—and I’m so glad I finally made it! The Seagate absolutely lived up to my expectations. It’s a true five-star property with pristine amenities and a beautifully maintained private beach. Don’t let the shuttle to the beach deter you—it runs constantly, and the beach club is the perfect place to spend the day. I especially enjoyed returning in the afternoon to relax by the main hotel pool and hot tub. One of the unexpected highlights was the shuttle service itself. Not only does it take you to the beach, but the drivers are happy to drop you off anywhere nearby. Downtown Delray is vibrant with lots to see and do, which was a big plus compared to other resorts where you can feel stuck on property. I can’t wait to come back!

Love this hotel! Accommodations were above and beyond our expectations. The new restaurant and bar area were excellent. The bartenders Ricardo, Christian and Jack at the lobby bar were great Transport to the beach is so easy, and once there, the staff were extremely attentive. Shout out to Norlon for his attentiveness and welcoming smile!! Highly recommended

We had a problem with a rowdy neighbor after midnight who woke us up. The Bourbon Steak House was very good. Beach Club is a nice amenity. Very nice experience in general. We loved the vibe in Delray.

The Seagate is the best kept secret of Delray. The resort style hotel offers a grand ambiance of a Caribbean getaway. The hotel staff…no matter the level and/or area worked offers superior customer service. I loved the (3) mile transportation service and the private beach island. However, our favorite part of our getaway at Seagate was the staff. The staff exemplified passion and genuine courtesy.

The property lived up to our expectations, except for two things. Surely housekeeping who comes every day should notice when they clean the bath tub whether the drain is clogged and the fitting to keep the handheld shower in place is broken. Wading in shower water does not add to the "spa" experience. The dining option provided by the hotel for the Beach House should be reviewed. It is presented with great fanfare with a special bracelet for access to the exclusive Beach Club membership. However, is it really an option for a late dinner and drinks when the facilities close at 9:00 PM? Also while the on-premises restaurant -- the Atlantic Grille -- offered good choices for brunch, their dinner entrees are wildly overpriced for what appeared on our plates. We expected more creativity with signature tastes and plating and, really, unless we are desperate and short on time again to truly explore the area, will not be dropping $350 for dinner for three entrees and two mediocre appetizers. Valet parking at $40 overnight is also pricey when free parking exists literally across the street from the valet service entrance.

Food was horrible at the beach club restaurant. I mean minus ten Overpriced and pool area small and old Hotel had nice big rooms and renovated. Nice bar and staff. Beach club a zero. Would never go back.

Hotel, service & Beach Club were great again. The only bad experience I had was ordering 2 muffins at the coffee area downstairs, absolutely horrible, never again. We were planing to eat at the steakhouse there but after the muffin experience we decided elsewhere. Overall I really like the hotel but all the tipping on valet parking both ways, shuttle both ways and housekeeping is over excessive for me. Mike, room 449.

Staff is friendly & helpful, rooms are spacious & location is perfect. Only complaint is the hotel restaurant, which is very bland and in need of a makeover, but there are plenty of great places nearby.
