Parking was Insane, over night between the two nights we paid 70$. On top of that I seen pictures of a pool online, but we were informed there was no pool. There were also no ice machines on any of the floors we stopped at looking for ice. The breakfast was bland. Beds were comfortable but I felt like our room never really cooled off. Over all I’m not sure I’d pick this place again.

Our reservation could not be pulled up on the computer… for about 15 minutes… Ice machine is not working on our floor… The stamped parking ticket did not work in the parking garage.. Plastic cup had a punched hole in bottom which brought on a spill. Staff was friendly… Was not impressed with this hotel.

I recently stayed at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Indianapolis Downtown with my husband and daughter in a two-bed queen suite for two nights. We chose this hotel for its convenient location near our destination, as we needed to be close to the funeral home due to a recent family bereavement. Unfortunately, our stay was far from satisfactory. The room was unpleasantly, humid, and unhygienic. The carpet was filthy—our white socks turned black from walking on it. To make matters worse, we did not receive fresh towels, and housekeeping never came to freshen up the room during our stay. I had to personally go to the front desk to request fresh towels, which took forever to arrive. The air conditioning unit was blowing out damp air, contributing to a musty, garbage-like odor throughout the room. Additionally, the walls were dirty, and the overall cleanliness was severely lacking. We were deeply disappointed with this experience, especially during such a difficult time. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the conditions for future guests.

The breakfast options were just okay. We thought our room was pretty clean until we woke up the next morning and my child had bug bites all over his back and legs. I showed the manager of the hotel photos and he moved us to a different room. I requested someone to check the room for bugs but have not received an update. This is very scary as I have young children and this was a very expensive three night stay.

Things I liked: everything was centrally located and walkable. The shower had hot water and good water pressure. Parking was above average regarding ease and I felt like my car was safe. Breakfast was very good- hot, fresh, decent variety, and the staff members working the breakfast area were wonderful. Common hotel amenities such as coffee pot and fridge were provided. Decent view and AC was average. Front desk staff was nice and an good variety of snacks and drinks. Cons: room was not as clean as it should have been. Hair in the sink, shower, and in the bed/blankets. Shower door did not shut all the way resulting in a lot of water escaping onto the floor. There was fresh looking blood on all 3 blankets in the bed. Staff stated they would look for blankets but would not be able to bring them to me as housekeeping had already left when I called and reported it to the front desk (this was late in the night) overall not as clean as other hotel companies I have been to.

The staff were super friendly! The floors in the room were so dirty my feet turned black after I showered for bed. The body wash was empty so it did not get checked. Maybe get rid of carpet and use hard wood floors so that it can be steam mopped! The room temp never went down, it was hot in the room even with it set lower than 69 degrees. There was not many breakfast options, the only thing I could eat was bacon and eggs and the eggs were average at best. I wish they would have had at least toast out as well instead of just bagels and English muffins. The bed was comfortable to sleep in but they seemed more like full sized beds rather than queens.

First off: If you park in their garage for only part of your stay, check your final payment carefully -- they don't bill you based on in/out times as they say, they just add the cost of parking for your full stay to your bill. And they don't mention that unless you ask about the parking fee. Beyond that, this is an oddly arranged complex with lots of remodeling going on in other buildings, and, at least at the moment, dining options are bleak. Rooms seem to have been remodeled recently and are clean and in good condition, but with a strange layout that includes separate rooms for the toilet apart from the main sink and shower. Strangely soft beds and terrible pillows. Except for the excellent desk chair, all the furnishings were uncomfortable. The breakfast has a lot of options - but many are pretty bad. (At least thaw the cheap frozen muffins before putting them out.) While some staff are very friendly and helpful, most do their best to avoid helping or interacting with guests. And, right now, road construction in the area means you are walking through a construction zone to get anywhere. For the price, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had anywhere.

The room was good but it was close to the elevator and there was a banging noise all night from the shaft making it hard to sleep. One of the elevators was also not working making the trip to and from the 14th flloor take a lot longer than it should. All in all it was ok

This hotel chain is nice and we choose to stay there often as we have a family of 5 with three teenage kids. This specific location in Indy has really really thin walls and it felt like we were sharing a hotel room with the people next door. ALL NIGHT LONG. Nobody could sleep with the neighbors up all night. Poor sleep dominated the stay. We will probably veer away from Springhill Suites from now on

My two boys and I shared a room. No one wanted the sofa bed since it's not as comfortable. So we traded off each nite. I asked for daily housekeeping and it was provided by the man at the front desk. Much appreciated and it made our trip great. Thank you.

Clean and spacious room for 2 adults and 3 children. Excellent location within walking distance of the Lucas Oil Stadium, Eiteljorg, Indiana State Museum, and the zoo. Staff was friendly and attentive to our every need, bringing us extra towels and bedding promptly on request. Comfortable beds and very quiet. Fridge and microwave. Coffee station in room and the lobby. Buffet breakfast was wonderful! Highly recommend!!!!

We were able to check in an hour early but when we got there there was a huge line to check in and only one person at the desk. They did finally send another person out but it took awhile to get checked in. The room had a weird smell, we didn’t say anything though. The bed is a little firm and the AC didn’t really cool the room the best. I was also disappointed that the fan wasn’t very loud. We always leave the fan on to help block out the hall noise. We got very little sleep thanks to the room across the hall from us had a bunch of what appeared to be teenagers in it and there was another room down the hall with young kids as well and they kept running back and forth between rooms letting doors slam and being really loud. They give you a paper that says it’s quiet time from 10-7 but they obviously do not enforce it! I don’t see how a room can be full of teenagers either it should be required for a parent to be in the room to keep this from happening. We were not happy because we had to be up early and this was ongoing from around 10p to well after midnight or later, very frustrating!

This hotel had a great location, with many things within walking distance. The rooms were clean, and the property was very well kept. I cannot say enough about Andrea at the front desk! She is amazing! I was there with a group of people, and she greeted each of us by name, each time she saw us, and was very personable and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely stay here again!

We received an email saying we could check in early. We arrived around 2 and check in is at 4 and the guy was rude and said check in is at 4 and that we couldn’t check in until 4. We came back around 320 and it was a different person who also said not until 4. Someone else came in a few mins later and was allowed to check in. We then were told we could check in as well after them but my complaint is that they rudely jnformed us we couldn’t check in until 4. I know check in is at 4 but don’t send an email saying want to check in early and then be crappy when you try to check in. They said it was because they had no rooms clean but if check in is at 4 and it’s only an hour or 2 before that you have to have some rooms clean. We’ve stayed here before and was able to check in before 4 without any issues. The room also wasn’t even completely clean there was hair all over the sheet on our bed. A towel under the sink and a hair tie left on the shelf by the sink. It’s in a great location but staff could use some training. The beds are also very uncomfortable.

I was extremely impressed by the staff at this property. In particular, the evening desk person named Mike was wonderful. He knew the area well, made excellent recommendations and, clearly, loves his work at SpringHill. The room was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. Everything was reasonably walkable in the area but the skywalk that connects the various Marriott branded hotels to the convention center meant not having to walk outside in the rain or cold. This is a wonderful hotel.

I stay here monthly and consistently wait for check in. No one is at the desk. Stood for minutes today, only to be told that I would have to go around to the other hotel for check in. Maybe put a doorbell people can ring when service is needed. I can appreciate that having someone at the desk all of the time during slow periods is not realistic, but provide a solution.

Easy to get to despite road construction. It was the perfect location as we attended a concert at the Everwise Amphitheater which is literally a 5 minute walk. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I inconvenienced the guy at check-in. I appeared to bother him, he had to stop talking to his young-lady friend to check me in. Breakfast was gross to put it mildly. The eggs were filled with water. Coffee was great!
