I have stayed here a few times and the staff have always been very welcoming and helpful. The rooms have always been comfortable and clean. This time we stayed in a room which had a bath and a seperate shower and both were great. Wish I could pick this room each time I stay. There is always plenty of parking at the property. The only issues I had were the glasses, coffee cups and TV were very tiny. I dont recommend having the sunday roast late in the evening as there wasnt much choice and the roast potatoes were a bit old and hard.

The hotel was hard to find in the dark as there were no or poor lights on the driveway. However, the staff were very friendly and professional and the food (breakfast) was of excellent quality (and quantity). It's a shame that there is no lift in the building, which makes less accessible for people with a disability. However, I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

Great location and very convenient for my purposes. Easy parking For a single traveler having the pub bar and restaurant so close was great. It was busy and I never felt alone. Wood burning stove was awesome.

Very nice ground floor room with small patio overlooking the garden. Room was very comfortable with all the amenties that one needs, We had a good dinner with our grandkids. Breakfast buffet was good with fresh farmhouse bread etc. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Great location, superb room and very comfortable. Bar area great and food ordered was very tasty. Good selection of drinks available. Room well decorated and very clean and tidy. Issue with no hot water during our stay that wasn't rectified by staff which was disappointing as was looking forward to soaking in the free standing bath showed in the photos - so we probably won't stay again.

Only stayed one night and the room we had was clean had plenty totes, coffee,milk and sugar. Great for a couple of days not mstorage for a longer stay. Staff very helpful, friendly and polite. Bathroom nicely decorated and shower brilliant. I would use the hotel again.which made the room Idea.

This is an old house with extensive grounds and lake. We found the bedroom very clean with good bedlinen and clean fluffy towels every day. The breakfast was excellent and we ate one evening in the dining room and had a very good meal. The staff were friendly. We asked to change our original room and the change was made without any fuss. We would definitely return to this hotel.

We loved the room. It was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The only criticism was that we didn't have any hot water for the bath during our stay, as it was only tepid and on the morning we were leaving, even the shower water was tepid. This still wouldn't put us off from returning, as we both had a nice relaxing stay.

This property was in a great setting and the room was lovely, however staff weren’t the most helpful and bed was uncomfortable. Also had a strange noise which sounded like a washing machine/dishwasher going off into the early hours. Convenient for Woking train station to get into London which is what we did. Probably wouldn’t stay again which is a shame because I enjoyed the overall atmosphere and the room looked lovely.

We have stayed at Worplesden many times before, but this was the first time since the property has been refurbished, and wow!! We stayed in a room we’ve had before, and the styling has elevated it to a simply luxurious level! I can’t wait to come back!!

Apart from no sink plug, and the drains smell in the room when I arrived (which disappeared after running the taps for a while), the room was well equipped and bed was very jcomfortable. The restaurant lets this place down though. As an allergen sufferer I had to work my way through the allergen folder at the bar (was not allowed to take it to the table) and was informed my meal is “usually” gluten free. I had two meals during my stay, one really poorly presented, both a little over priced for what they were, and both took over 30 minutes to be served, even though the place was not that busy. The plates were not cleared for at least an hour after I had finished on both evenings. Whilst not an unpleasant place, the room rate, food and drinks were not good value for money.

This was the 3rd time we have stayed here in the last 8 months. And it never disappoints. Even in the winter it’s still such a beautiful place. The staff are friendly and can’t help you enough. The food is amazing and is of the quality you would expect at a top notch restaurant. We will definitely be returning as soon as possible.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Decor is tasteful and in keeping with the building. Lovely room, comfortable bed, great shower, toiletries and big fluffy towels. Great selection of teas and coffee in the room and the option to buy reasonably priced snacks from a tray in the room. Large pub dining area and bar. I am celiac and nothing has been too much trouble. Food is great. If I come back into the area, this will be my number one choice of stay.
