Primarily chosen as it was near to an event we were attending at the Nene Valley Railway (a short drive from the pub). We liked that the accommodation was in a separate building to the pub (although the pub was not loud). Good breakfast, evening meals, and friendly staff. We have a lovely walk around the village one evening, went back following day to try the local tea rooms but they closed early which was a shame. Will definitely stay here again

Pleasant staff on arrival nice and prompt attention, lovely surroundings outside. Comfortable room with great corner bath for much needed relax. Most excellent steak pie for supper. All positive, only negative would be poor wifi connection booster required i would suggest . Nevertheless great stay for business travelling

beds were comfortable though it was a bit hot with the quilt on. room was a bit dark. could do with another window. internet was good. plenty of space in the room. enough for 3 of us. though the toilet door wasnt lockable, the bathroom door would open if someone opened the front door. grounds were lovely just needs a little tlc. didnt take any photos of room
